#TEASOCIETYCALLEDINDIA AN INITIATIVE BY SOCIETY TEA @KALA GHODA ARTS FESTIVAL 2020

3^rd February, 2020, Mumbai: Known in the country and internationally for its impeccable sense of taste, Society Tea,  is all set to showcase their first ever visually appealing and extremely engaging installation #TEASOCIETYCALLEDINDIA, at the 21st edition of Kala Ghoda Arts Festival from 1st February 2020 to 9th February 2020 in Mumbai. If there is one thread that binds us unequivocally as a nation, no matter what our differences may be, one ritual that truly symbolises ‘unity in diversity’, and one common language that transcends regional distinctiveness, it is ‘our love of tea’. This is the core theme presented through the installation.

        

  

Celebrating the unifying and proudly home-grown tea drinking culture across the length and breadth of our country, Society Tea’s wonderful human interest #TEASOCIETYCALLEDINDIA installation aptly depicts this culture via a photo essay series.  An amalgamation of images, this installation captures the ultimate societal truth that defines India and Indian-ness, right from Kanyakumari to Kashmir and Meghalaya to Mumbai.

Commenting on their first ever installation, Mr. Karan Shah, Director, Society Tea said, “It feels great to be a part of the largest multicultural festival, Kala Ghoda Arts Festival and represent the tea drinking culture of India through our beautifully captured photo essay installation. Between us and our cup of tea there is an everlasting bond that’s inextricably woven into the very fabric of our national identity. Tea Society Called India is an attempt at showcasing this bond.

 

  

#TEASOCIETYCALLEDINDIA has collaborated with NGO's namely, Advitya (specially-abled children), World For All (animal care) & The Foundation (underprivileged children), so when you buy the images from the photo essay series, you donate the proceeds one of the three NGOs doing a lot of good work in their respective fields.

ATH Entertainment’s Saraswati Puja marked the auspicious beginning for new ventures and relationships in presence of B Town Celebrities.

Mumbai: ATH Entertainment launched their new office in Andheri on an auspicious note, by performing a Saraswati Puja in order to seek the divine blessings of the goddess of learning, art and music Saraswati. The Saraswati puja witnessed renowned names from the industry who came down to wish Producers Apoorva Bajaj and Pankaj Narayan on their new venture.

Ehsaan Qureshi, Rajiv Nigam, Rehman, Ajaz Khan, Zakir hussain and Piyush Suhaney were amongst the many other celebrities who were present to seek blessings of Maa Saraswati. ATH has made a grand and remarkable entry into the Television space by making a one of a kind, world class devotional music reality show OM SHANTI OM broadcasted on a well-known GEC.

Pankaj Narayan who launched ATH Entertainment said, “I am a devotee of art,  and love taking  time out for Saraswati Puja since my childhood has always been of important. I have always worshipped the goddess and seeked her blessings which has helped me in realizing my dreams. ATH is taking a new step with a new address and it deserved an auspicious day.”

गानसम्राज्ञी लता मंगेशकरांच्या सांगितिक कारकिर्दीला सावनी रविंद्रची 'दीदी' व्दारे मानवंदना

सुमधूर गळ्याची गायिका सावनी रविंद्रचा ‘दीदी’ हा शो नुकताच मुंबईत लाँच झाला. गानसम्राज्ञी लता मंगेशकरांच्या सांगितिक कारकिर्दीवर आधारीत ‘दीदी’ या कार्यक्रमाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे.  या कार्यक्रमाची संकल्पना आणि प्रस्तुती गायिका सावनी रविंद्रनेच केलेली आहे.   

गानसरस्वती लता मंगेशकर आणि मेलोडी क्विन आशा भोसले ह्यांच्या गाजलेल्या गीतांचा नजराणा घेऊन ह्या अगोदर ‘लताशा’ कार्यक्रमाची निर्मिती सावनीने केली होती. त्यामध्ये सावनीच्या आवाजातल्या सुरेल गीतांसोबतच दस्तुरखुद्द पंडित हृदयनाथ मंगेशकरांकडून त्या गाण्यांविषयीचे विरेचन ऐकायला मिळणे ही कानसेनांसाठी पर्वणीच होती. आता ‘दीदी’ ह्या हिंदी कार्यक्रमामध्ये सावनीच्या गीतांसोबतच अभिनेता पुष्कर श्रोत्रीचे प्रभावी निवेदन ही कानसेनांसाठी मेजवानीच ठरतेय.

 दीदी कार्यक्रमाच्या संकल्पनेविषयी गायिका सावनी रविंद्र म्हणते, “अलौकीक आणि दैवी आवाजाच्या लतादीदींचा 90वा वाढदिवस आपण साजरा केला. त्यांच्या दैदीप्यमान कारकिर्दीला माझ्याकडून मानाचा मुजरा करावा असं वाटल्याने ह्या कार्यक्रमाची निर्मिती केली. दीदींचे हिंदी सिनेसृष्टीच्या योगदानतल्या महत्वाच्या गाण्यांचा समावेश ह्या कार्यक्रमात करण्यात आला आहे. त्यांच्या कारकिर्दीतल्या निवडक तीस गाण्यांचा समावेश ह्या कार्यक्रमात करण्यात आलाय.”

सावनी रविंद्र पूढे म्हणते, “दीदींची गाणी गाणे हे एक शिवधनुष्य उचलण्यासारखे आहे. पण हे चॅलेंज उचलायला मला आवडतं. ह्या वर्षाच्या सुरूवातीला पूण्यामध्ये कानसेनांनी कार्यक्रमाला चांगला प्रतिसाद दिल्यावर मायानगरी मुंबईनेही भरघोस प्रतिसादाने पाठ थोपटल्याने आता ह्या कार्यक्रमाचे अजून शो करण्यासाठी हुरूप आला आहे.”

माजी सामाजिक न्यायमंत्री राजकुमार बडोले यांच्या संकल्पनेतून साकारलेला, अनिकेत राजकुमार बडोले (युगंधर क्रिएशन्स) निर्मित ‘दाह’ चित्रपटात किशोर चौघुले बनला ‘मामा’

मराठी नाट्य आणि चित्रपटसृष्टीतील ‘किशोर चौघुले’ हे नाव महाराष्ट्राच्या कानाकोप-यात पोहचले आहे. अनेक नाटकातील आणि चित्रपटातील अभिनयामुळे किशोर यांनी महाराष्ट्रातील जनतेला स्वत:शी आणि स्वत:च्या अभिनयाशी जोडून ठेवले आहे. मनात जे असेल ते थेट बोलणे असे व्यक्तिमत्व असणारे, जबरदस्त आवाजामुळे सर्वांचं लक्ष स्वत:कडे वेधून घेणारे किशोर चौघुले आता युगंधर क्रिएशन्स प्रस्तुत आणि अनिकेत राजकुमार बडोले निर्मित ‘दाह मर्मस्पर्शी कथा’ या चित्रपटात महत्त्वाच्या भूमिकेत दिसणार आहेत.

मल्हार गणेश दिग्दर्शित आणि डॉ. सतिश (अतुल) सोनोने लिखित ‘दाह’ चित्रपटात किशोर यांनी कॉलेजचे शिपाई ‘मामा’ यांची भूमिका साकारली आहे. कॉलेजचे शिपाई मामा हे प्रत्येक विद्यार्थांचे खास असतात. पेशाने जरी ते शिपाई असले तरी एक वडीलधारी व्यक्ती आणि मित्र या नात्याने ते विद्यार्थांशी अगदी मनमोकळेपणाने संवाद साधतात. प्रेक्षकांना तर किशोर यांची ही भूमिका नक्कीच आवडेलच पण विद्यार्थांना देखील हे ‘मामा’ त्यांच्या कॉलेज जीवनात हवेहवेसे वाटतील यात शंका नाही.

   

माजी सामाजिक न्यायमंत्री राजकुमार बडोले यांच्या संकल्पनेतून साकारलेला, अनिकेत राजकुमार बडोले (युगंधर क्रिएशन्स) निर्मित ‘दाह’ चित्रपटात सायली संजीव आणि गिरीश ओक यांच्या प्रमुख भूमिका आहेत. त्यांच्यासह राधिका विद्यासागर, सुह्रद वार्डेकर, यतिन कार्येकर, उमा सरदेशमुख यांच्या देखील महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका आहेत.

कौटुंबिक कथा असलेला ‘दाह- एक मर्मस्पर्शी कथा’ चित्रपट १४ फेब्रुवारीला संपूर्ण महाराष्ट्रात प्रदर्शित होणार आहे.
