Fresh from her last single – the racy Paris London Amsterdam,  Aanchal Tyagi has dropped her new song “Saajanwa”, with IndieA Records. Composed by Abhijeet Srivastava & written by Shayra Apoorva, and sung with verve by Aanchal, Saajanwa gives us a quirky and funny outlook on modern day love.

 

The song begins with a snarky depiction of the bride and groom, and it reflects the lover's different moods - sometimes brimming with romanticism and sweet nothings, other times sulking on a whim, hoping to be appeased. The video is set against the backdrop of a young couple's wedding and portrays a completely stressed-out bridegroom who has to cope with the bride's shenanigans. Saajanwa has an indie mood with a catchy beat, melodic vocals, and an immensely engaging video.

 

Speaking about the song, Aanchal Tyagi states, "I appreciate the space of indie music as created for itself and that independent music reveals an artist's actual sentiments and emotions because he/she is allowed to reign free in their creativity, and not bound by any dictates. Saajanwa is a fun song, it has a special verve and is quirky and I want to term this as indie-pop. Abhijeet Srivastava, an upcoming Bollywood composer has composed this song and the lyrics by Shayra just sets the mood for the song. Pop production led by Aman Moroney gives the track a super kick. At the end of the day, the audience just wants good music and that's what my team aims at. I'm super grateful to Ashish Sir & Ujjla Ma'am for making this happen and I hope the listeners love Saajanwa as much as the fun I had singing it.”

The holiday season is right around the corner and the festive spirit is upon us. This past weekend, Novotel Hyderabad Airport welcomed the holiday season with an exhilarating cake mixing session for its employees and in-house guests.

Cake mixing is an age old tradition which happens at the onset of the holiday season. It has been a long-standing custom to mix together kilograms of dried fruits, nuts, grains, and spices. This combination is then let to soak up the flavors and aromas of various alcoholic blends for a few days. Finally, it is divided into portions that are added to the cake mix, which is then used to produce Christmas fruit cakes for all to enjoy.

As an attempt to show their appreciation for their talented team and catapult them into the festive spirit, Novotel Hyderabad Airport organized a fun evening of cake mixing. The team participated enthusiastically in the annual celebration and kicked off the holiday season with all things exciting. The ceremony was followed by a hi-tea in the outdoors, and in-house guests at the property joined in on the fun too!

नवी मुंबईतील अपोलो हॉस्पिटल्स या अग्रगण्य व बहु-वैशिष्ट्यपूर्ण वैद्यकीय सेवा पुरवणाऱ्या रुग्णालयाने महाराष्ट्रातील वाशिम जिल्ह्यातील ११ लहान मुलांवर हृदयाच्या शस्त्रक्रिया यशस्वीपणे पार पाडल्या. महत्वाचे म्हणजे ही प्रक्रिया ११ तासांत कोणत्याही विकृती शिवाय आणि जीवाला धोका न होता पार पडली. ४ ते १३ वर्षे वयोगटातील या ११ मुलांना जन्मापासूनच हृदयविकार होता. या रोगावर उपचार केला नसता तर कुपोषण आणि दीर्घकालीन गंभीर समस्या उद्भवण्याचा धोका असतो.

नवी मुंबईतील अपोलो हॉस्पिटल्स हे राष्ट्रीय बाल स्वास्थ्य कार्यक्रम (आरबीएसके) योजनेअंतर्गत देखील रुग्णांना उपचार प्रदान करते. आरबीएसके योजनेअंतर्गत जिल्हा वैद्यकीय अधिकारी जन्मजात हृदयविकार असलेल्या लहान मुलांना हेरतात आणि त्यांची तपासणी करतात त्याचबरोबर तज्ञ डॉक्टर निदानाची पुष्टी करतात आणि त्यांच्यावर उपचार करतात. रुग्णांना दिले जाणारे उपचार या योजनेंतर्गत समाविष्ट केले जातात, त्यामुळे उपचारांवर होणारा खर्च खूपच कमी होतो.

डॉ. भुषण चव्हाण, पॅडिएट्रिक कार्डिओलॉजिस्ट, अपोलो हॉस्पिटल्स, नवी मुंबई म्हणाले,"सप्टेंबरमध्ये अपोलोच्या टीमने वाशिम सिव्हिल हॉस्पिटलला भेट दिली. तिथे आम्ही जन्मजात हृदयविकार असल्याची शंका असलेल्या १२० मुलांची इकोकार्डिओग्राफी केली. १२० मुलांपैकी ३५ मुलांना जन्मजात हृदयविकार होता. ३५ पैकी ४०% मुलांवर अँजिओग्राफीद्वारे उपचार करण्याचे नियोजन करण्यात आले. सिव्हिल हॉस्पिटल्सची अनुमती घेऊन मुलांना अँजिओग्राफी डिव्हाइस क्लोजरच्या प्रक्रियेसाठी नवी मुंबईतील अपोलो हॉस्पिटल्स येथे आणण्यात आले’’.

प्रक्रियेच्या दिवशी सकाळी ७.३० वाजता डॉक्टरांनी शस्त्रक्रियेला सुरुवात केली आणि एका पाठोपाठ एक अशाप्रकारे शस्त्रक्रिया पार पाडली. ११ पैकी ५ मुलांना पेरी-मेम्ब्रेनस व्हॅस्क्युलर रोग झाला होता, हा रोग आव्हानात्मक होता तरी देखील शस्त्रक्रिया व्यवस्थित पार पडलीच. मुलांना शस्त्रक्रिया झाल्यानंतर तिसऱ्या दिवशी रुग्णालयातून सोडण्यात आले. या दरम्यान कोणतीही प्रतिकूल घटना घडली नाही आणि संपूर्ण शस्त्रक्रिया सुरळीतपणे पार पडली. आता या मुलांना पहिल्या महिन्याच्या अखेरीस आणि ६ महिन्यांनंतर पाठपुरावा करण्यासाठी भेट द्यावी लागणार आहे, या व्यतिरिक्त दुसऱ्या कोणत्याही प्रक्रियेची आवश्यकता नाही. उर्वरित मुलांवर देखील नवी मुंबईतील अपोलो हॉस्पिटल्स येथे उपचार केले जाणार आहेत.

Kartik Aaryan's magic has worked yet again! His recently released song 'Kaala Jaadu' from his upcoming Shashanka Ghosh directorial film 'Freddy' is blowing up the music charts. Released on 11th November, the title track has garnered attention like no other!

Pritam - the Music Composer of Kaala Jaadu says, "When Jayu (Jay Shewakramani) showed me the movie I was blown away by it and Kartik is incredible in it. Shashanka Ghosh wanted a cello theme for the film. Keeping that in mind I made a theme and interpreted that as a string line in the song. It was quite an unusual song for Arijit and he had fun with it."

He further adds with a wink, "It's a song so close to my heart that I didn't want to deliver it."

The preparation was a huge part. Getting yhe dialect, the body language right was of utmost importance. That is when my initial training helped me a lot. I worked with coaches but on set i was on my own. I fed off the energy of the settings and the environment and the performances. We had some celebrated cast and it was a great learning experience. I hope the audience loves it. They are the ultimate validation we all actors need it from. Looking forward with baited breath."

She would be elated to hear of the response but sadly it will take some time for her to know of this as she is in the bigg Boss house. But nevertheless she is the truly blue eyed entertainer and we wish her many more amazing performances and breakthrough characters.

Shemaroo Umang is all set to bring a thrilling fantasy drama ‘Raazz Mahal’ produced by Rashmi Sharma. The promos of the show have already become the talk of the town with their promising content. It’s recently reported that the makers have locked Himanshu Soni as the lead actor. Himanshu Soni has been working in the industry for more than a decade he did his debut in 2011. Himanshu has been roped in by the creators of the show to play the lead role alongside Neha Harsora. He will portray the all-important character of a young and daring man, Adhiraj. भयावह वाडा… वाड्याबाहेर तुळशी वृंदावन… झाडाला लटकवलेल्या काळ्या बाहुल्या… आजुबाजुचे रहस्यमय वातावरण आणि एक अळवत…. विचारात पडलात ना, हा कोणता देखावा? तर हा थरारक देखावा उभारण्यात आला होता, ‘अथांग’च्या भव्यदिव्य ट्रेलर लाँचसाठी. जयंत पवार दिग्दर्शित ‘अथांग’ या वेबसीरिजचा ट्रेलर लाँच सोहळा नुकताच दणक्यात पार पडला. या सोहळ्याला सर्व कलाकारांनी पारंपरिक पेहरावातून १८००चा  काळ पुन्हा एकदा उभा केला. हा दिमाखदार सोहळा मनसे अध्यक्ष राज ठाकरे यांच्या उपस्थितीत संपन्न झाला असून या सोहळ्याला ज्येष्ठ कलाकार अशोक सराफ, दिग्दर्शक अभिजीत पानसे, सिद्धार्थ जाधव, सायली संजीव, श्रेया बुगडे यांच्यासह मराठी सिनेसृष्टीतील अनेक मान्यवर उपस्थित होते. या वेळी निर्माती तेजस्विनी पंडितने राज ठाकरे यांच्यासोबत गप्पांची मैफलही रंगवली. यानिमित्ताने राज ठाकरे यांचे कलाप्रेमही उपस्थितींना जाणून घेता आले. 

या वेळी राज ठाकरे आपल्या कलाप्रेमाबद्दल म्हणाले, “मी राजकारणात अपघातानेच आलो. माझा खरा कल कला क्षेत्राकडेच होता. मुळात मी चित्रपटप्रेमी आहे. त्यामुळे मी वेबसीरिज फार कमीच बघतो. परंतु ‘अथांग’ मी नक्कीच बघणार. जुना काळ पडद्यावर दाखवणे, तसे आव्हानात्मक आहे. मात्र हे आव्हान तुम्ही स्विकारुन उत्तम कलाकृती सादर केली आहे.’’ 

निर्माती तेजस्विनी पंडित म्हणते, '' या वेबसीरिजच्या माध्यमातून मी निर्मिती क्षेत्रात पदार्पण करत आहे. कलाकार ते निर्माती हा प्रवास खूपच रंजक होता. कलाकार म्हणून वावरताना फारशी जबाबदारी नसते परंतु निर्माती म्हणून काम करताना कागदावर श्रीगणेशा लिहिण्यापासून ते अगदी आपले काम प्रदर्शित होईपर्यंत किंबहुना त्यानंतरही जबाबदारी असते. मी अक्षय बर्दापूरकर यांची आभारी आहे की त्यांनी आमच्यावर विश्वास ठेवला. आजचा दिवस माझ्यासाठी खूप खास आहे. निर्माती होणे माझ्यासाठी स्वप्न होते आणि ते आज ‘अथांग’च्या निमित्ताने पूर्ण होतेय.’’
