नुकताच 'शॉर्ट अँड स्वीट' या चित्रपटाचा टीझर लाँच करण्यात आला आहे. काही दिवसांपूर्वी चित्रपटाचे पोस्टर प्रदर्शित झाले होते. पोस्टरनंतर आता चित्रपटाच्या टीझरने प्रेक्षकांची उत्सुकता वाढवली आहे. शुभम प्रोडक्शन प्रस्तुत, गणेश दिनकर कदम दिग्दर्शित 'शॉर्ट अँड स्वीट' या चित्रपटात सोनाली कुलकर्णी, हर्षद अतकरी, श्रीधर वाटसर, रसिका सुनील या कलाकारांच्या प्रमुख भूमिका आहेत. चित्रपटाच्या टीझरवरून कळते की, इतक्या वर्षांनी घरी परतलेला संजू त्याच्या बाबांना भेटण्यासाठी उत्सुक असतानाच, त्यांना भेटल्यावर तो नाराज का झाला, कोण आहेत संजूचे बाबा, नेमके काय कारण असेल ज्यामुळे संजूच्या आईने त्याच्यापासून ही गोष्ट लपवली, हे पाहाण्यासाठी सर्व प्रेक्षक उत्सुक आहेत. येत्या ३ नोव्हेंबरला हा चित्रपट प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीला येणार आहे.

कलाकार शाईन करुणाकरन यांच्याकडून गेली आठ वर्षे प्रशिक्षण घेतलेल्या मनसा कल्याण यांच्या कलाकृतींचे हे तिसरे सार्वजनिक प्रदर्शन आहे.  याच्या पहिल्या दोन आवृत्त्यांनी उत्तम यश संपादन केले, त्यापैकी पहिले प्रदर्शन केरळमध्ये थ्रिसूर आणि दुसरे कर्नाटकात बंगलोरमध्ये आयोजित करण्यात आले होते.  आता मुंबईमध्ये प्रदर्शित करण्यात आलेल्या, पूर्णपणे नवीन चित्रांमध्ये तिच्या कलाकृतींमध्ये लक्षणीय नावीन्य दिसून येते.  यापैकी बहुतांश कलाकृती गेल्या वर्षभरात तयार करण्यात आल्या आहेत.

The film doesn't just depict the leader but also unveils the humane side of Sardar Patel – his humility, his compassion, and his dedication to the people of India. From the integration of Hyderabad and Junagadh, the film captures the pivotal moments that shaped Sardar Patel's legacy.  The story goes on to narrate the struggles and strife of Sardar, be it the Kheda Satyagra, Satyagra, or Bardoli Satyagrah. Sardar’s personal life and his philosophy are touched upon through various incidents.

Renowned writer & director Mihir Bhuta helms this cinematic marvel. Speaking about the project, he shares, "Sardar film is based on my original Gujarati play by the same name. Made that in 2012 or 13, with the same main cast.  The play, as well as the film, is an attempt to understand Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel as a person as well as a statesman. It is an enchanting experience to see and to show the three-dimensional personality of him. The thrust is less on the happenings around him, which are accurate too, but on his actions and reactions. The interpersonal relationships, the clarity of thought, and ingenious problem-solving capacity are some of the things I have tried to understand through the writing and making of this film. My main endeavor is to explore his changing relationship with Mahatma Gandhi.  The film Sardar, though still incomplete at present is one of the best journeys I have taken as a writer"
