Navbharat Times, a pioneer in Indian journalism, marked its 73rd anniversary with an extravagant celebration, the "NBT Utsav 2023," held on the 1st of September at Sofitel, BKC, Mumbai. The event was a true reflection of Navbharat Times' rich legacy and commitment to showcasing excellence in various fields while honoring the diverse tapestry of talent that makes India proud.
The evening was a star-studded affair, graced by the luminaries of Bollywood, eminent business personalities, and dedicated social workers who have contributed significantly to society. It was a confluence of glamour, success, and altruism, encapsulating the spirit of Navbharat Times' unwavering dedication to serving the nation with credible and impactful journalism.
The event commenced with a heartfelt tribute to the journey of Navbharat Times over the past 73 years, highlighting its role in shaping public opinion, fostering societal progress, and upholding the values of truth and integrity. The chief guests, including prominent Bollywood celebrities, esteemed business leaders, and dedicated social activists, were welcomed with fervor and respect.
Apart from eminent personalities associated with Bollywood, Business, and Social Work, unsung heroes who are engaged in making Mumbai alive were also felicitated. Union Minister Shri Piyush Goyal graced the event as the honorable Chief Guest. Chief Minister Shri. Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Shri. Devendra Fadnavis marked their gracious presence as the special guests for the evening.
Navbharat Times Utsav 2023 honored Javed Akhtar, Aanand L Rai, Kajol, Karthik Aryan, Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan, Vaani Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Manish Paul, Aparshakti Khurana, Aditi Rao Hydari, Kavita Seth, Bhuvan Bam, Neha Banerjee, Abid Surti, Devita Saraf, Shekhar Khanijo, Sanjay Saha, Radhika Nanda, Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Kripashankar Singh for their stellar performances & many more
Sufi singer Kavita Seth spread the magic of her velvet voice at NBT Utsav. Kavish Seth mesmerized the audience by playing his own invented musical instrument, Noori. Also, a beautiful Kathak performance by Neha Banerjee, while content creator Bhuvan Bam enthralled everyone with the performance of his characters Titu Mama, Bablu Ji, etc.
Navbharat Times has been celebrating ' NBT Utsav' every year for the last decade. In its previous events, megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Asha Parekh, Vidya Balan, Juhi Chawla, Kajol, Rani Mukherjee, Karan Johar, Ajay Devgan, Irrfan Khan, Anushka Sharma, Alia Bhatt, Sushant Singh Rajput, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal, Pankaj Tripathi, Siddharth Malhotra, Shabana Azmi, Jahnavi Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, Shilpa Shetty, Rakul Preet Singh have attended Navbharat Utsav. Apart from this, musical gems like Kailash Kher, Sukhwinder Singh, Jubin Nautiyal, Ronu Majumdar, and Rakesh Chaurasia have graced the programs with their musical performances. Apart from cinema, personalities from other fields have also been honored in this celebration. Social workers like Afroz Shah, Amla Ruia, and Rajashree Birla in the field of social service, Nadia Chauhan of Parle Company from the business sector, Ananya Birla of Aditya Birla Group, Dr. from the medical sector. Pankaj Chaturvedi and Smriti Mandana from the sports world have been honored at the NBT Utsav.
