The Bhediya mania has begun! Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan’s creature comedy has been the talk of the town ever since its thrilling trailer, and now, the makers have released the first song from the film. 

‘Thumkeshwari’ is a funky dance number that sees Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon flaunt some masala moves as they sway to Ganesh Acharya's killer choreography. 

Sharing his thoughts on the track, Varun Dhawan says, “Thumkeshwari is a number that’s tailor made to burn the dance floor. I thoroughly enjoyed performing to its funky tune. The song’s lyrics are a catchy delight, and I am sure fans are going to have a gala time dancing to the track”. 

The biggest highlight of Thumkeshwari is the sensational special appearance from Stree alumni Shraddha Kapoor. Looking like a desi diva, Shraddha is a sight to behold as she shakes a leg with Varun. Having earlier worked with director Amar Kaushik in Stree, we also wonder if there’s more to Shraddha’s glimpse!

The song showcases Kriti Sanon at her breathtaking best as she sizzles in many vibrant hues. Her terrific thumkas will surely send fans into a frenzy!

About working on the song, Kriti says, “I had an absolute ball shooting for Thumkeshwari. I was sharing screen space with Varun after a very long time and we have never worked on this kind of a grand track together. This was quite the memorable experience”. 

Talking about the track, composers Sachin-Jigar say, “Thumkeshwari exudes the kind of fun and enjoyable vibe that Bhediya is all about. With an addictive tune, thumping beats and catchy lyrics, this is a song tailor made for the dance floors”. 

Composed by Sachin-Jigar and penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, Thumkeshwari is a peppy number that is also a treat to the eyes. The song's vocals have been crooned by Sachin-Jigar along with Ash King and Rashmeet Kaur. 

With an epic set, stellar costumes and that extra special Stree magic, this is a snazzy melody meant to be enjoyed in all its uber-cool glory. 

If Bhediya’s first track is anything to go by, looks like a wild and raging album awaits audiences!

एक विशेष ईच्छा व्यक्त केली ती म्हणजे 'महाराष्ट्राची हास्यजत्रा' कार्यक्रमातील कलाकारांसोबत स्कीट करण्याची. हास्य जत्रेचे शूटिंग हा तसा किचकट भाग असतो शूटिंगच्या आदल्या दिवशी रंगीत तालमी करणं गरजेचं असतं, प्रशांत दामले त्यांच्या अत्यंत व्यस्त अशा वेळापत्रकातून वेळ काढून तालमीला हजेरी लावली. तब्बल चार ते पाच तास ते सलग सगळ्या कलावंतांबरोबर ते तालीम करत होते त्यांनी तालमीची ही प्रोसेस मजा घेत पूर्ण केली. नाटकासारखं मूळ स्क्रिप्ट बरोबर स्क्रिप्टला साजेस असं इम्प्रोवायझेशन देखील ते करत होते. या स्कीटमध्ये त्यांच्याबरोबर प्राजक्ता माळी, समीर चौगुले शिवाजी परब ओंकार राऊत आणि चेतना भट यांनी देखील सहभाग घेतला आहे. शूटिंगच्या दिवशी सुद्धा इतर कलावंतांसारखं, 'माझे कपडे कुठले असतील? माझा प्रवेश कधी होणार आहे? प्रवेशाच्या वेळेला कोणी काय करायचं? ए जास्त एडिशन घ्यायचे नाही, व्यवस्थित सुटसुटीत साचेबद्ध पण तडाखेबाज करूयात अशा सूचनावजा सल्ला देत प्रशांत दामले यांनी हास्य जत्रेच्या रंगमंचावरती एन्ट्री घेतली आणि हास्याचा आणि टाळ्यांचा कडकडाट झाला. अगदी पहिल्या सेकंदापासून स्कीटच्या शेवटच्या सेकंदापर्यंत त्या टाळ्या आणि अशा थांबल्याच नाहीत.

Porsche India exceeds its previous best-ever annual result by the third quarter

Porsche India has enjoyed its strongest retail period to date during the third quarter of 2022. The brand recorded 71% growth across the first nine months, exceeding its previous best end-of-year total with three months remaining.

Retail sales of 193 units during the third quarter helped Porsche India reach 571 deliveries so far in 2022, surpassing the previous best full-year total of 534 units delivered in 2013.

The figures are a reflection of the loyalty shown by Porsche India’s customers as well as the success of several exciting initiatives that have prompted positive customer feedback.

“By holding events like our Porsche Experience Track Days and stimulating the market with Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur showcases through our dealerships, we have generated a buzz that will help carry the momentum into the fourth quarter and next year,“ said Manolito Vujicic, Brand Director of Porsche India.

“Having recorded 71% growth year-to-date, we are truly excited to see what the rest of 2022 can deliver for Porsche India, its customers and stakeholders who have made this possible.”

On the occasion of Varun Dhawan's 10th year in Bollywood, Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan have unveiled Bhediya's much awaited trailer in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.

Set in the mesmerising forests of Arunachal, the Varun Dhawan-Kriti Sanon starrer tells the story of Bhaskar, a man who gets bitten by a mythical wolf, and begins to transform into the creature himself. As Bhaskar and his ragtag buddies try to find answers, a bunch of twists, turns and laughs ensue. 

The trailer shows an exciting sneak peek of Varun turning into the Bhediya, and other stunning glimpses of the wolf in action. A key standout is also the principal cast’s sparkling comic chemistry. May it be Varun and Kriti, or Deepak Dobriyal and Abhishek Banerjee, each showcases laugh out loud comic timing. 

The Dinesh Vijan production has been making waves for its intriguing premise and breathtaking VFX. MPC, the award winning Hollywood studio behind 'Top Gun: Maverick’, 'Mortal Kombat', 'Godzilla vs. Kong' and 'Ad Astra' has helmed the creature comedy's visual effects. 

Talking about the trailer, director Amar Kaushik says, “Our trailer gives a small taste of the enthralling adventure audiences are in for. Bhediya is crafted to be enjoyed in cinemas. Winters are a time of relief from sweat and heat. Though the pleasant weather and ample fresh food choices make it a great season for pregnant mothers; winter problems demand some extra vigilance and care to stay protected and safe. There are multiple physical and hormonal changes that a woman undergoes during pregnancy, such changes coupled with changes during winters, such as the increase in susceptibility to infections and allergies or dryness of skin can lead to additional stress if unattended. Give a healthy start to your day

Giving your day a healthy start builds the momentum for the rest of the day. Winters are a time when you may want to curl up in your bed till late, but even if you are tempted to do so, remember that your pregnant body has different needs to stay healthy. Some exercise or yoga which can be safely carried out during pregnancy and nutritious breakfast at your regular time are recommended to give your day a perfect start.

Drink plenty of water even if you don’t feel thirsty often

One may not feel thirsty very often during winter, but if you are an expecting mother your body needs to be adequately hydrated for you and your developing baby to stay healthy. “Consumption of eight to ten glasses of water is necessary to maintain good hydration in pregnant women,” says Dr.Mamatha Neeli, Consultant Gynaecologist & Obstetrician at Ankura hospital for women and children, Hyderabad. Healthy drinks such as fresh fruit juices, coconut water, or hot homemade soups can also be consumed to stay hydrated. Even though one may be tempted to consume hot beverages containing caffeine during winter, it should be avoided or kept at a minimum due to its overall ill effects during pregnancy.

Take a Flu shot and protect yourself from infections

Any illness during pregnancy can stress your body additionally and can have harmful effects on your growing baby and should thus be prevented at all costs. Flu is common during winters and one should thus eat healthy food, follow good personal hygiene, wash their hands regularly and take a flu shot to stay protected from it. “As per the Center for Disease Control flu vaccine is safe for both, the mother and the developing baby and is recommended to be taken during pregnancy to stay protected,” advises Dr. Mamatha Neeli

Consume a balanced diet and boost your immunity through diet

Apart from taking adequate steps to prevent illness, boosting your immunity through food can help you stay healthy and fit. The availability of plenty of vegetables during winter can give expectant mothers a variety of options to choose from. Consumption of small, frequent meals and a balanced diet rich in nutrients and fiber is well-known during pregnancy. Adding foods that can boost your immunity can help you fight off infections, not just during winter but at all other times of the season too. Foods such as Indian gooseberry, ginger, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits, yogurt, and dry fruits can help immunity boost.

Keep yourself warm            

Extreme temperatures can be harmful to both the mother and the developing baby. Since the pregnant body is more sensitive to weather changes and can catch infections like the common cold easily it is advised that the expectant mother keeps herself warm at all times during winter. Wear warm comfortable clothes and avoid spending long hours outdoors during cold weather to prevent any illness.

Use plenty of emollients for dry skin

Apart from the skin changes induced by pregnancy hormones, winters too can have additional effects on the skin, thus making it more dry and itchy. A pregnancy belly with stretched skin and possibly stretch marks can also begin to itch more during the winter season. Usage of plenty of emollients frequently is recommended to keep skin problems during winters at a minimum. Warm baths followed by the usage of moisturizers or oils such as coconut oil can help in keeping your skin supple. Avoid the usage of strong scents and very hot water for keeping your skin healthy.
