Amaal gifts his jacket to Li’l Champ contestant Astha Das

The competition seems to be getting intense on Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs as the contestants are battling it out to the best of their abilities to race ahead in the show. To add some zest and coolness to the competitive environment, the industry’s lovable Jaggu Dada aka Jackie Shroff will make an appearance on the show along with the beautiful Mouni Roy. The celebrity guests visited the sets to promote their upcoming flick RAW and motivate the contestants.

While the kids sang to the best of their abilities, contestant Astha Das performed to ‘Kurbaan Hua’ song from the movie Kurbaan and won everyone’s heart! Moreover, Amaal was left speechless and he lauded Astha for her stunning performance. So impressed was Amaal that he got up from his seat, went up on stage and gifted Astha is jacket as a gift of gratitude! Amaal said, “What a rock star performance! simply beautiful. I am totally speechless today. I feel I am very lucky to witness your performance, you are the real tigress over here.”

Wow, that’s a sweet gesture Amaal!

The episode saw many outstanding performances that left our celebrity guests -Jackie and Mouni as well as the judges absolutely awestruck. Jackie Shroff requested Pritam Acharya to sing  Sandese Aate hai, a performance  which had taken Bollywood by storm. Contestant Mithila’s performance to Tanha Tanha Yaha Pe Jeena impressed everyone but what made her evening was when Jackie decided that he would contribute and sponsor the education of 21 girls who Mithila is working for, leaving her extremely overwhelmed. The stunning Mouni Roy took to the stage with the kids and mesmerized everyone with her scintillating Naagin dance.  

Moreover, a sweet surprise got Jackie Shroff emotional as his neighbours from the chawl  where he spent his entire childhood visited the sets and told everyone stories about how Jackie was as a child and that nothing has changed despite all his success and fam. He’s still as grounded and down to earth! All in all, this episode of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l champs will account for oodles of entertainment, sweet moments and melodious performances by the kids.






‘लिटिल चॅम्प’ आस्थाला दिले अमालने आपले जाकीट भेट!


‘झी टीव्ही’वरील ‘सा रे ग म प लिटिल चॅम्प्स’ या कार्यक्रमातील बालस्पर्धक पुढील फेरीत जाण्यासाठी एकमेकांशी स्पर्धा करीत असल्याने ही स्पर्धा दिवसेंदिवस तीव्र होत चालली आहे. या स्पर्धेचे हे तप्त वातावरण काहीसे निवळण्यासाठी आणि स्पर्धकांमध्ये ईर्ष्या निर्माण करण्यासाठी येत्या वीकेण्डच्या भागात बॉलीवूडचा लाडका ‘जग्गूदादा’ ऊर्फ जॅकी श्रॉफ हा अभिनेता नामवंत अभिनेत्री मौनी रॉय हिच्यासह या कार्यक्रमात सहभागी होणार आहे. आपल्या आगामी ‘आरएडब्ल्यू (रॉ)’ या चित्रपटाच्या प्रसिध्दीसाठी आणि बालस्पर्धकांना उत्तेजन देण्यासाठी जॅकी श्रॉफ व मौनी हे या कार्यक्रमात सहभागी झाले होते.
या भागात सर्वच बालस्पर्धकांनी आपापल्या क्षमतेनुसार उत्तम गाणी गायली, तरी एक ‘लिटिल चॅम्प’ आस्था दासने ‘कुरबान’ चित्रपटातील गायलेल्या ‘कुरबाँ हुआ’  या गाण्याने सर्वांची मने जिंकली! पण परीक्षक अमाल दास तिच्या गाण्याने भारावून गेला होता आणि काही काळ त्याच्या तोंडून शब्दच फुटत नव्हते. पण अमाल तिच्या गाण्यावर इतका फिदा झाला की तो आपल्या जागेवरून उठून तिच्यापर्यंत चालत गेला आणि त्याने तिला आपल्या अंगातील जाकीट घातले. अमाल म्हणाला, “एखाद्या रॉकस्टारला शोभेसं गायली आहेस तू! मी तर तुझ्या गाण्याने अवाक झालो आहे. तुझं हे गाणं ऐकणयासाठी मी इथे उपस्थित होतो, हे माझं नशिबच म्हणावं लागेल. गाण्यातील तू वाघीणच आहेस!” 

अमालचे हे कृत्य खरोखरच वाखाणण्याजोगे आहे!

याशिवायही या भागात अन्य बालस्पर्धकांनी अप्रतिम गाणी सादर केली आणि ती ऐकून केवळ परीक्षकच नव्हे, तर जॅकी आणि मौनी हे सेलिब्रिटी अतिथीही भारावून गेले. जॅकीने प्रीतम आचार्यला संदेसे आते है हे गाणे गाण्याची विनंती केली. त्यानंतर मिथिलाने तनहा तनहा यहाँ पर जीना हे रंगीलातील गाणे गायले तेव्हाही जॅकी आनंदून गेला. त्याने मिथिला मदत करीत सलेल्या 21 मुलींच्या शिक्षणचा खर्च उचलण्याची तयारी दर्शविल्यावर मिथिलाचेही मन भरून गेले. यानंतर मौनी रॉयने काही स्पर्धकांबरोबर व्यसपिठावर आपले प्रसिध्द नागिन नृत्य करून सर्वांवर आपली छाप पाडली.

यानंतर घडलेल्या एका प्रसंगाने जॅकी श्रॉफ काहीसा भावनावश झाला. त्याने आपले लहानपण ज्या चाळीत व्यतीत केले होते, त्या चाळीतील त्याच्या शेजारी राहणार्‍्या कुटुंबांनी सेटवर येऊन त्याची भेट घेतली. त्यांनी लहानपणीच्या जॅकीच्या काही आठवणी सांगितल्या आणि सांगितले की इतके यश मिळाल्यावरही जॅकी बदललेला नाही. त्याचे पाय आजही जमिनीवरच आहेत. एकंदरीतच ‘सा रे ग म प लिटिल चॅम्प्स’च्या या भागात बालस्पर्धकांच्या अप्रतिम गायनाबरोबरच धमाल मनोरंजन आणि काही संस्मरणीय क्षण अनुभविण्यास मिळतील.

Mumbai, 29th March, 2019: In what can be called a truly historic day in the music industry of India, actor superstar Ranveer Singh and filmmaker and music evangelist Navzar Eranee have teamed up to launch their passion project, an independent music record label called IncInk. The label will look to unearth the future superstars of the music scene in India and present their raw talent to a global audience.

“We are first starting with launching some really raw, immensely talented, new rap and hip-hop artists who we believe will be the next superstars of the scene. Rap and hip-hop are the biggest thing happening in Indian music today. This poetry is speaking of a revolution, it is speaking of how India is protesting against class structures, injustice, and social atrocities. It is the voice of India, from the streets of India that you just can’t ignore anymore. Hindustani rap/hip hop is telling our nation’s story and reality and we at Inc Ink want to bring out the real poets of our generation. Inc Ink literally means writing your own story and I’m inspired and thrilled to be starting this passion project that aims to affect social change. I hope that we can present some of the strongest, boldest voices of Indian youth to the world,” said Ranveer, who turns a global entrepreneur with his music venture.

He added, “The first 3 exceptional talents being launched are Kaam Bhari, SlowCheeta and Spitfire and I’m a huge fan of their music. We intend to sign and promote several more artists, who are exploring various genres of music, in the days to come and showcase their beautiful music to India and the world. As an outsider in Bollywood, I have always wanted to do my bit to bring out and support the outstanding talent that we have in every street of our country. So, when Navzar and I came up with the idea of IncInk, it appealed to my core, my heart. Inc Ink is my passion and I intend to use this platform to give as many artists, from across the country, a chance to dazzle India with their talent.”

Ranveer’s partner and co-collaborator in IncInk is Navzar Eranee, a filmmaker and music lover aiming to nurture, launch and build artistes in India. He too turns an entrepreneur with this company that will give contemporary poets of our generation suitable exposure and reach amongst people.

Co-founder Navzar Eranee said, “Art can comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable. Music has always inspired me to think and act beyond my perceived limitations. As an artist bubbling with a point of view, I grew tired of safe conversations and diplomacy driven by economic interests. I want to connect with people. These connections via truth and authentic expression, though not always agreeable, create a more inclusive conversation. This insight drove Ranveer and I to push our own boundaries and form IncInk. Anushka Manchanda a.k.a. Nuka & Shikhar Manchanda a.k.a. RĀKHIS came on board as our Head of Music, because we all agreed on the absolute core of what we envision for IncInk. Where artists can collaborate and express with real freedom. In my view, the haves and the have nots must engage on common ground - through art and music. This is where all collisions, disagreements and agreements must occur. To cause this change we must stir the nest, with our thoughts, our deeds and our words.”

About the decision to start their independent label by launching rap and hip-hop artists, Navzar added, “Rap allows for a bold and direct approach. We can speak our truths, learn, educate and maybe even inspire somebody outside of ourselves. Oppression must be faced with bravery and creativity. We often face injustice every day. By bringing these subjects to light through art, we can recognise them and take action. Rap lends truth to the idea that art is mightier than the sword.”


Today, IncInk released their first single, titled Zeher written and performed by Kaam Bhaari, produced by Shikhar Yuvraj Manchanda (a.k.a. RĀKHIS). Zeher is a hard-hitting song that challenges the prevalent conforms of the Indian music industry boldly and unapologetically.

CAHO launches its initiative to improve patient’s safety and quality healthcare in India
Prominent hospitals of Mumbai join hands to address challenges of Quality Healthcare in India

Mumbai, 28th March, 2019: Creating positive outcomes for quality healthcare and upgrading patient safety standards in India will be the key agenda of the 5th International CAHOCON 2019 to be held in Mumbai for the first time. 

Themed around Healthcare Quality Should Impact Outcome, the conference will be held on April 13th -14th 2019 and is organized by Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organizations (CAHO) to bring all accredited hospitals together. More than 600 delegates and renowned doctors will be sharing their insights at the prestigious conference. The initiative is supported by The International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua), The Asian Society for Quality in Healthcare (ASQua) and Quality Council of India (QCI).

The initiative was launched in a press conference at Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital by esteemed doctors, Dr. PM Bhujang, President, Association of Hospitals, Dr. Rajendra Patankar, COO, Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital, Mr. Joy Chakraborty, COO, P D Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Centre, Dr. Hiren Ambegaokar, CEO, S L Raheja Hospital, Dr. Sujit Chatterjee, CEO, L H Hiranandani Hospital, Dr. Anupam Karmakar, CEO, D Y Patil Hospital and Dr. Deepak Patkar, Medical Director, Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital.

A separate Masterclass has been organized on April 12 in leading hospitals of Mumbai including Nanavati Super Specialty Hospital, Hiranandani Hospital, Bombay Hospital, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Hinduja Hospital, Saifee Hospital, D Y Patil Hospital and Wockhardt Hospital. Topics to be covered include Process Re-engineering, Hospital planning, Nursing Communication, Cyber Security and Infrastructural Safety.

With a view to sensitizing medical personnel to the changing requirements and understand them, CAHO has been conducting programs to train doctors, nurses and administrators. CAHO intends to increase the frequency of these programs to provide training in the areas of quality implementers, fire safety, hospital infection control, disaster management and many others which have already become very popular.

Leveraging social media is very important to increase the outreach towards stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem. CAHO has an active online presence through its website and Facebook. They also conduct regular webinars. Trained persons are regularly interacting on WhatsApp groups which are strictly for academic activity.
