The Genius Foundation and World Records of India in Mumbai.

GIAA 2019 which was the first ever stint by the Genius Foundation  and World Records of India in Mumbai. The event did not just mark the honoring of talents from various spheres of life rather also, the evening witnessed performances by names like Aaman Trikha, Trinity Dance Group, Magician Rajesh etc.


The awardees included names like Mr. Aaman Trikha who has entertained people with his magical voice in movies like Dishoom, Son of Sardaar, OMG etc. was honored with the Voice of the year award.
Dr. Aneel.K.Murarka who was given the Genius philanthropist of the year award 2019 because of his never ending zeal to always contribute to the betterment of the society.


Master Jash Sarode who has carved a niche for himself in the field of roller skating and has to his kitty various records was awarded with the youngest achiever of the year award 2019. 



Mr. Navin Barot who is the Superintended of Police of the Jail, Nadiad, was awarded because of his diligent fearless services.




Mr. Rohitash Gaud was awarded for his selfless service towards creating social awareness.

Mr. Rishi Sarode who has made a mark for himself in field of roller skating by conquering Mt. Kanchenjunga on his roller skates was also awarded at the event.

Grand Masti star Kainaat Arora is living many faces, many lives, many characters and most certainly living out of a suitcase. The actor who's just finished shooting for Punjabi film Kitty Party has already got on board with Manoj Sharma's directorial, Khalli Balli. The film is produced by Kamal Kishor Mishra of One Entertainment Film Productions and Prachi Movies.

Reacting on taking up this flick Kainaat says, "I always wanted to do a horror film. And not just a random horror film, but content driven one. And when Manoj ji came to me with the concept of a horror comedy, it got too hard to resist."


Not many know, Kainaat is a horror film junkie, "I have been interested in horror genre ever since childhood. I love the thrill of this genre and what better than have a horror comedy that not only keeps you at the edge of your seat but also entertains you. I have seen Bhool Bhulaiya and Stree and I am a huge fan of this genre," says Kainaat, while adding further, "I am glad I am getting to play the part of Sanjana in the film. It's a pivotal role and the story revolves around her."

Kainaat may not be seen in Bollywood industry that frequently, but the actress sure is busy as hell! "I have done a lot of Tamil and Telugu Cinema and also a decent line of Punjabi films. I had the opportunity of working with Mohanlal in Malayalam blockbuster, Laila O Laila and even had the opportunity to work with South Star Ajith Kumar. I've done Punjabi films also which are of comedy genre," says Kainaat.


But for Kainaat, her role in Khalli Bali was extremely challenging. "It was emotionally draining. This film requires hardcore performance. This film has so much to offer, action, thriller, comedy and emotions. It was a great challenge." Elaborating further on the life of an actor, Kainaat says, "People think we actors have a great, luxurious and easy life but that's not the case. We work really hard, in fact harder than others may be sometimes. I wake up at 3 or 4 AM in the morning and get done with my shift only after 15-16 hours at once. Our lives may look very glamorous but it's really hard. In fact I work really hard."


Kainaat definitely knows her business and this hardworking actress is surely going to shine with Khalli Balli.

Mumbai, 12th June, 2019: Having set new benchmarks in the world of Textiles, power brand ‘GRADO from The House of GBTL and OCM’ has charmed the premium fabrics segment with its specialty of amalgamating modern technology with the tradition of making fabric. To commemorate its success, the brand organized the ‘GRADO Super Shahenshah Meet’ to celebrate its meteoritic rise in the Industry and its association with their brand ambassador, none other than the ‘Shahenshah of Bollywood’, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. The event took place at Hotel Sahara Star, on 12th June, 2019, 6 pm onwards, with over 1000 + dealers, retailers, distributors and wholesalers, from across the country, in attendance.


The main objectives of the event included the ‘Meet and Greet’ session to award the winner of the ‘GRADO Dekho, Big B se Milo’ contest; recognition and felicitation of top performers, in several categories, for the revered houses of GRADO – GBTL and OCM and celebrating its association with Big B as their Brand Ambassador.
The function began with a tribute to the Chairman, followed by a riveting speech by Mr. Rajendra Agarwal, Mentor and GRADO. This auspicious occasion was marked by the Lighting of the Lamp as well.
The stage was then taken by Emcee Siddharth Kanan, top Indian television and radio host, who began his evening with the gathering on an inspirational note via a ‘Mirror activity’, which portrayed that each one of them is the reason behind GRADO’s phenomenal rise in the Industry.
To get a fun glimpse into the Top Management, the next segment was ‘Rubaroo with GRADO’, a chat-show based format, wherein Mr. Kannan interacted with the GRADO team via an informal banter, thus enabling the audience to get to know them like never before. Along with witty quips and informal conversations, the team shed light on new areas being explored in terms of product and channel, how the Gen Next is taking the legacy forward, key associations and more. It was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone gathered at the venue.
Having interacted with the team, it was now time to acknowledge and recognize the phenomenal work done by GRADO’s biggest stakeholders – wholesalers and retailers – from the Central, West, East and South Zones across the country for both GBTL and OCM.

The first set of awards was ‘Best Zonal Performers for Grado’, with 9 winners from OCM and 10 winners from GBTL. This was followed by a wonderful dance performance that captivated the audience. The second set of awards was ‘National Excellence Awards for Grado’, with 10 winners from OCM and 11 winners from GBTL,with all the winners receiving enormous rounds of applause from the gathering.
The delightful evening proceeded as Mr. Kannan’s interacted with the audience via fun question rounds, which was a prelude to the arrival of the Star of the event – The Shahenshah of Bollywood – Mr. Amitabh Bachchan.
Amidst all the happiness and cheers of the crowd, Mr. Bachchan was felicitated onstage by Mr. Rajendra Agarwal, Mentor, GRADO. Following this, the former indulged in a candid conversation with the audience seated at the event. After an engaging session with the crowd, it was time for an enjoyable quiz titled ‘GRADO ke GYANI’ for all the retailers and wholesalers present at the event, with Mr. Bachchan being the Quizmaster and Mr. Kannan being the Moderator for the same. We had 6 lucky guests who were questioned by Big B himself about Grado and the whole crowd was in all cheers.
This was succeeded by the “Sawal Aapke , Jawaab Big B Ke” wherein Mr. Kannan asked Mr. Bachchan to answer few  select questions by the audience, to know more about his association with GRADO as its brand ambassador, his journey with the team and more.
To add to this all 5 blazers were signed by Mr. Bachchan himself and these will be gifted to our lucky guests.
Post this, it was time to accord the lucky winner of the ‘GRADO Dekho, Big B se Milo’ contest, wherein Mr. Bachchan himself presented the award, a brand new car, to the awardee, Mr. Rajeev Arora from Jodhpur, by handing him the car keys.
The celebratory note continued with the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ presented to Mr. S. Krishnamoorthy for his invaluable contribution and role in the ascending growth of GRADO and the industry.
This was followed by GRADO’s Top Management team delivering the ‘Vote of Thanks’ for Big B, which was then succeeded by ‘Drum Circle’, an energized drumming session for the audience. The eventful evening came to an end with Mr. Kannan announcing the finale act of the day – another mesmerizing dance performance - followed by the DJ taking over the stage.

The initiative has been organized in collaboration with the international trend agency Beautystreams; trophies have been created by the design agency centdegrés.
 
#VibrantIndia: The Scented Fabric Play, in collaboration with centdegrés, is a celebration of Indian culture and values, which are influencing the development of local beauty industry. India is recognized worldwide for its colors, patterns and scents: the installation aims at providing attendees with a multi-sensitive experience. Three regions are represented, with their characteristic fabrics and fragrances: Karnataka with jasmine and Mysore silk, Kerala with Mundum Neriyathum and Black Pepper, Uttar Pradesh with Vetiver and Chikankari. Visitors can choose how to personalize a candle, choosing their favorite fabric and scent. 


CosmoTrends, curated in partnership with Beautystreams, is one of the most interesting contents of all the Cosmoprof events: it covers the main trends, which can be recognized on the show floor. For Cosmoprof India, the report highlights products and devices, which, according to Beautystreams experts, are influencing Indian market, answering to specific needs and trends of local consumers. CosmoTrends is a functional tool for buyers, journalists, trend scouters and influencers, looking for what is new for the beauty sector in India.
