Mumbai, March 1, 2021: Gateway Rail Freight Ltd. (GatewayRail), a subsidiary of Gateway Distriparks Limited, flagged off its first dedicated round-trip export Service between ICD Viramgam and Nhava Sheva Port for India’s dairy giant, Amul - Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF).
The exporters in the Ahmedabad region have been facing a lot of difficulty due to the ongoing crisis of shortage of shipping line containers. To address this issue, Gateway Rail Freight Limited decided to provide dedicated round trip services between ICD Viramgam and various ports which brings empty containers into the Ahmedabad region in the inward direction and carries export-laden containers to various ports in the outward direction.
Gateway Rail has been a pioneer in providing dedicated weekly train services for imports and exports carried by all major shipping lines and major customers. These dedicated services are matched with vessel cut-offs in the case of exports, and vessel arrival for imports. The company operates a fleet of 31 train sets and has an overall annual handling capacity of over 600,000 TEUs.

Mumbai, March 1, 2021: Bank of India one of India’s leading public sector banks conducted a recruitment drive for sportspersons across various sports categories for the posts of clerical and officer grades.
Applications were invited in the month of July 2020, from sports disciplines like Archery, Athletics, Boxing, Gymnastics, Wrestling, Swimming, Weight Lifting, and Table Tennis.
Candidates were selected under the supervision of a panel of experts from all sports disciplines including eminent personalities like Mr. Ankit Sharma and Abraham Joseph (Olympian Athletics), Sandeep Gupta(Table Tennis- Dronacharya Awardee) Mr. Abhishek Verma (Archery- Arjuna Awardee), Mr. Akhil Kumar (Boxing- Arjuna Awardee), Ms. Hansa Sharma (Weight lifting) amongst others. Shortlisted candidates had to go through field trials and interviews during the recruitment process.
The General Manager(HR), Shri A.K. Pathak said “We received around 3,000 applications in total out of which 2,500 were for clerical post and 500 for officer posts. After the final selections process was completed, 11 were selected for officer grade while 12 were selected for a clerical grade. We could complete the process successfully against all Odds in the present COVID situation”.
“Bank of India has always been a supporter of sports and sportspersons of our country and always been encouraging towards youngsters and talented sportspersons in their journey. We will be on track to recruit more sports personalities in the future,” he added.

Mumbai, February 25, 2021: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited was felicitated for being the country’s frontline ‘Corona Warrior’ during the pandemic, serving the society across the length and breadth of the nation by the Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari. Shri. PS Ravi, Executive Director (Retail) and Shri. S. Abbas Akhtar, Chief General Manager (Public Relations & Brand) received the citation on behalf of the company from the Governor of Maharashtra Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari. Also present on the occasion was Shri. Quaiser Khalid IPS, Commissioner of Police, Railways, Maharashtra, and also the founder – president of nonprofit and literary NGO “Pasbaan – E – Adab” which organized this felicitation program.
In response to Covid, -19 Bharat Petroleum Limited undertook several measures to serve the nation.
