Hyderabad: February 2025: A remarkable demonstration of collective purpose unfolded in Hyderabad today as over 2,111 individuals converged to orchestrate the world's largest human image of a dove, the quintessential emblem of peace. This extraordinary accomplishment, a testament to the vision of the Sudha Reddy Foundation, has been officially recognized as a Guinness World Record. The event, held at the Lords Institute Of Engineering & Technology from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, saw participants, clad in white, coalesce into the breathtaking aerial tableau.

This unprecedented undertaking, orchestrated by the Sudha Reddy Foundation, not only showcased meticulous logistical planning and seamless collaboration but also served as a potent symbol of unity and a fervent call for peace in our contemporary world. The dove, a universally acknowledged icon of harmony and goodwill, was strategically chosen as the centrepiece of this endeavour to catalyse global discourse on the imperative of fostering peace and mutual understanding across communities.  Philanthropist Sudha Reddy, the driving force behind the foundation, expressed profound pride in this historic achievement. "To witness thousands unite in common cause for such a deeply resonant purpose is a source of immense gratification," she affirmed. "This record transcends mere statistical significance; it stands as a beacon of hope and a powerful testament to the enduring human aspiration for peace."

Athletics Kids Cup Grand Mumbai final concludes season 1 with 1,00,000 children engaged across 1,000 schools in three cities

The Athletics Kids Cup enabled by UBS successfully concluded its Grand Mumbai Final at Jio Institute's Athletic Center, Ulwe, bringing together 500 of the city's top young athletes for a thrilling showcase of talent and sportsmanship. In its debut season, the initiative engaged 1,00,000 children across 1,000 schools in three cities, promoting physical activity and inspiring the next generation of champions. The competition followed a triathlon-style format with events in the 60m sprint, long jump, and ball throw. With electronic timing, live commentary, and big screens, young participants experienced a professional sporting environment, mirroring the excitement of elite athletic events.

The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Adille J. Sumariwalla - World Athletics - Vice President, Former-AFI (President); Florin Müller - Head of Swiss Business Hub India;, Philippe M. The Athletics Kids Cup was designed to address the increasing concern of childhood obesity by encouraging children to adopt an active lifestyle through running, jumping, and throwing—the fundamental movements of sports. Beyond physical fitness, the initiative also fostered discipline, resilience, teamwork, and leadership skills, building confidence among young participants.

अभिनेत्री नम्रता गायकवाड स्नेह गाण्याविषयी सांगते, “स्नेह हे मराठीतील पहिलच गाण आहे जे इंस्ट्रुमेंटल गाण आहे. शब्दाविणा तयार झालेल्या पहिल्याच गाण्याची निर्मिती मला करायला मिळाली हे माझ भाग्यच समजते. जिथे शब्द मौन होतात तिथे भावना बोलू लागतात आणि भावना थेट काळजाला भिडतात असा काहीसा अनुभव होता. प्रेक्षकांना गाण्याचा टीज़र आणि गाण खूप आवडतय त्यामुळे खूप आनंद वाटतोय.” संगीत दिग्दर्शक आदित्य बर्वे गाण्याच्या प्रोसेसविषयी सांगतो, “मला गिटार प्ले करत असताना एक ट्यून सुचली होती. मग मी तीच ट्यून वापरून बासरी आर्टिस्ट सोबत बसून मी ती ट्यून डेव्हलप केली आणि मग ठरवलं की यावर एखाद इंट्रुमेंटल गाण करायचं. नम्रताला ही संकल्पना आवडली आणि मग या गाण्याचं चित्रीकरण आम्ही अलिबाग येथे केल. शब्दाविणा गाण करायचा वेगळा प्रयोग आहे आणि तो प्रेक्षकांना आवडेल अशी मी आशा व्यक्त करतो.”

सुमधूर संगीताच्या बळावर असंख्य सिनेमांनी रसिकांच्या मनावर आपला अमीट ठसा उमटवला आहे. यात अनेक  प्रतिभावान संगीतकारांनी तसेच संगीतकारांच्या जोड्यांनी  आपला प्रभाव टाकला आहे. यामध्ये अविनाश-विश्वजीत या  मराठी सिनेसृष्टीत सध्या गाजत असलेल्या संगीतकार जोडीचाही समावेश आहे. अनेक मराठी चित्रपटांना ‘सुरेल’ करणाऱ्या अविनाश-विश्वजीत या गुणी संगीतकारांच्या या जोडीने आपल्या अनेक गाण्यांनी रसिकांना मंत्रमुग्ध केलं आहे.

‘मुंबई -पुणे-मुंबई’ ह्या चित्रपटापासून अविनाश -विश्वजीत ह्या संगीतकार जोडीची खऱ्या अर्थाने संगीतप्रेमींना ओळख झाली. 'कधी तू', 'का कळेना', ‘कधी तु रिमझिम झरणारी बरसात’, 'ओल्या सांजवेळी', 'हृदयात वाजे समथिंग', ‘साथ दे तु मला’ या प्रेमगीतांसोबत असा हा धर्मवीर, ' भेटला विठ्ठल माझा', "खंबीर तु हंबीर तु"  'मदनमंजिरी', 'हे शारदे' या सारखी आज गाजत असलेली गाणीही त्यांनी संगीतबद्ध केली आहेत.
