Singer Mohit Chauhan Launches Music of Saanjh/ Rishto ki Saanjh in with the Film's Star Casts in Delhi
For the first time ever, a film from Himachal Pradesh is going to be released in the cinemas across the country in Himachali language. Saanjh is being released in Himachali language and “Rishton ki Saanjh” in hindi. Saanjh is a Silent Hills Studio production being presented by PCU Pvt. Ltd. and SHORYA entertainment establishmentz.
Saanjh/Rishto ki saanjh film’s Music was released today at Connaught Place in Delhi. There are total 5 songs in the film . Gaurav Guleria from Dharamshala is the music director and Background is given by Shishir Chauhan . Songs for the film are sung by famous Bollywood singer Mohit Chauhan along with Pavithra Chari and Gaurav Guleria. Lyrics are written by Adarsh Dhiman, Ajay Saklani and Shreya Shah.
On this occasion famous Bollywood singer Mohit Chauhan also made his presence. Mohit Chauhan has already sung many folk songs but for the first time, he has sung 2 beautiful songs for a himachali film. On the occasion of music release, actors of this film Vishal Parpagga, Aditi Charak, Director/Producer Ajay Saklani and associate producer Shivani Saklani were also present. While addressing the press Ajay Saklani told that Saanjh and Rishto ki Saanjh film is releasing nationwide on April 14, 2017 and Premier of this film will be in Mumbai on 13 April, 2017.
Digital partner of the film Hungama launched the music and on this occasion Anuj Bajpai and Rajesh Allahabadi from Hungama were also present. They told that songs of the film Saanjh and Rishto ki Saanjh can be enjoyed on Hungama website, Hungama App, Apple I Tune and Wynk Music.
Saanjh film reflects the story of people who have migrated from their ancestral village to the big cities for a better livelihood. This story in the film has been depicted from the perspective of a grandmother and her granddaughter. The granddaughter who lives with her parents in the city is forced to live with her grandmother in the village. This story is about the relationship between grandmothers and granddaughters who have never lived with each other due to the increasing inter-generation gaps. The story of growing-up with each other, the hatred, confusion and love reflects the loneliness of the elderly people living in the villages
Saanjh will be released on April 14th in 22 states of the country. Producer/Director Ajay Saklani has brought the culture and dialects of Himachal to the mainstream cinema through the film. Aditi Charak from Chamba will be seen in the lead role in this film with Vishal Parpagga from Mandi. They both are appearing as debutants in the film. Asif Basra and Taranjit Kaur are well known faces of Bollywood and have played key roles in the film. Himachal's feature film Saanjh will be released in Himachali and Hindi language on April 14th, in 248 cinemas of the various states, including Himachal.
Along with the 2 Bollywood artists, the local actors have played important characters in the film. Saanjh film has been getting a lot of international attention before being seen on the big screen and has already won two international awards so far. Saanjh was honoured with Best Feature Film in the Borrego Springs Film Festival in California, USA. Saanjh was declared the best film from 750 entries from all over the world in this festival. Earlier, Saanjh has also been honoured with the award of merit in Accolade Global Film Competition in California. The film also focuses on the fading language, art, culture and traditional lifestyle of Himachal. About 90% of the film is shot in Kullu, Sainj, Mandi, Hamirpur and Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh. Apart from this, some scenes have also been filmed in Chandigarh.
