Bollywood actress Ihana Dhillon has been roped in to play a rape victim in Ullu App's upcoming web-series 'Kasak'. We heard, Kasak' is the story of a girl, who was violently attacked and raped because of which she was in a semi-comatose for the rest of her life.



We spoke to ihana about her character in the series, 'Hate Story 4' actress says, "I am playing Sheetal, who is a nurse by profession. Her life took a tragic tragic turn after she was raped in the hospital, where she worked. She had spent the next four decades in a vegetative state after surviving a brutal sexual assault. It's a story of a woman who has been brutally raped and manhandled and justice was always awaited." She further clarifies that she doesn't play Aruna Ramachandra shanbaug but the story is somewhat inspired by it but it is not at all a biopic of sorts.

It terrifies Ihana to think that someone as pure as a professional as a nurse who literally gives life to people was so badly done. She says "I was petrified to know of this and it troubled me to think what someone like her would have gone through and then I decided this is a story which needed to be told and hence I took the project."

Aditya Singh Rajput who is quite a hot property in advertising & hi street fashion world has shot over 400 TV commercials and numerous international brands and MTV Shows, stunned everyone with his look and performance for Alt Balaji’s very successful franchise of Gandii Baat Season 4 special story as the lead.

Aditya says "It was not at all an easy ride for me to get into the skin of my character Saawan, who is a small-town nerd shopkeeper and was very challenging and fun as an artist for me, but I was quite determined right from the day I walked in for the screen test for the same. I started preparing for the role 2 days before the screen test with my look and diction for Saawan the character I played and walked in the office in the required look itself. Show's creative head Neha Sengupta who is a dear friend, helped me a lot with the character's mannerisms during the two-screen tests we did for it and post I got selected I went on a crazy diet and remained within my character for almost a week till we finished the shoot. 

Thanks to Sachin Moite sir our Director who gave me instructions on how to handle Saawan on set, playing Saawan has been an amazing journey. As everyone knows am a more funky and hi street in real life, it was very important for me to really work hard towards this. I am grateful to Sachin sir, Neha and much gratitude for Ekta Kapoor mam and Baljit Singh Chaddha sir for believing in me to play Saawan. The response from the audience and fans is overwhelming and people were stunned to see me and act like this. All I can say is I am totally ecstatic with all the love am receiving.
