 Critically acclaimed Rajesh Mapuskar to direct Season 2 of Delhi Crime.

 Netflix India recently revealed its upcoming list of films, series, and documentaries releasing in 2021 which also includes the second season of Emmy's award-winning series 'Delhi Crime'. Its first season was released in 2019 which was written and directed by Richie Mehta, starring Shefali Shah, Rasika Dugal, Adil Hussain, and Rajesh Tailing. Season one which was set in the aftermath of the 2012 Delhi gang rape received a positive response from audiences all over the world.

 

Season two of this much-anticipated crime drama series will be directed by the National award winner and critically acclaimed Rajesh Mapuskar. After his successful films like Ferrari ki Sawaari and Ventilator, he is all set to make his digital debut with this Netflix's crime drama series 'Delhi Crime.'

 

Like the first season Shefali Shah, Rasika Dugal, Adil Hussain, etc will be working once again for this crime series. The second season will come up with a more uncomfortable truth.  It will be really exciting to watch Rajesh Mapuskar directing this different genre series.

Dubai. Porsche has presented the Taycan Cross Turismo to the public today with a virtual world premiere. The sports car manufacturer is expanding the product portfolio of its first all-electric sports car range with the addition of this versatile off-road version, thereby continuing the systematic pursuit of its path towards sustainable mobility. Like the Taycan sports saloon, the Taycan Cross Turismo benefits from an innovative electric drive with 800-volt architecture. The new high-tech chassis with all-wheel drive and adaptive air suspension also ensures uncompromising dynamics off-road. Forty-seven millimeters more headroom for rear-seat passengers and more than 1,200 liters of load capacity make the Cross Turismo a true all-rounder.

“In 2019, we sent out a key signal with the debut of our first all-electric sports car,” said Oliver Blume Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche AG, at the world premiere of the new, even more, versatile derivative. “We see ourselves as pioneers of sustainable mobility: by 2025, half of all the new vehicles we will deliver will have an electrified drive – either fully electric or plug-in hybrid. The future belongs to electric mobility and with the Taycan Cross Turismo, we’re taking another major step in this direction.”

Full Cross Turismo range right from the start
The full model range comprising three derivatives of the Taycan Cross Turismo will be available at the official start of the sale. The Performance Battery Plus, which has a total capacity of 93.4 kWh, is always fitted as standard. The model range comprises the following:

·         The Taycan 4 Cross Turismo with 380 PS (280 kW), overboost power for Launch Control 476 PS (350 kW), acceleration 0-100 km/h in 5.1 seconds, top speed 220 km/h, range (WLTP) 389 – 456 km

 

·         The Taycan 4S Cross Turismo with 490 PS (360 kW), overboost power with Launch Control 571 PS (420 kW), acceleration 0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, top speed 240 km/h, range (WLTP) 388 – 452 km

 

·         The Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo with 625 PS (460 kW), overboost power with Launch Control 680 PS (500 kW), acceleration 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, top speed 250 km/h, range (WLTP) 395 – 452 km

The high-tech chassis with all-wheel drive and adaptive air suspension comes as standard on all three models. The optional Off-road Design Package increases ground clearance by up to 30 mm. This means that the Cross Turismo can also be driven on demanding off-road terrain. The standard “Gravel Mode” improves the suitability of the new model for driving on rough roads.

In terms of its visual appearance, the Taycan Cross Turismo closely follows the Mission E Cross Turismo concept study presented at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. Its silhouette is defined by the sporty roofline sloping down to the rear – called a “flying” by the Porsche designers. Off-road design elements include wheel arch trims, unique front, and rear lower aprons, and side sills. As part of the Off-Road Design package, the Cross Turismo has special flaps at the corners of the front and rear bumpers and at the ends of the sills. These make for a striking exterior as well as providing protection from stone impacts.

New bike carrier
Especially for the Taycan Cross Turismo, Porsche has developed a rear carrier for up to three bicycles that sets the benchmark in terms of package size and handling. It can be used universally for different types of bikes. One of its innovative features is that the tailgate can be opened even when the rear carrier is loaded.

The Taycan Cross Turismo will be available for order in due course with further announcements to follow.

3^rd March 2021, Mumbai: Maharashtra Govt. has been pursuing multi-faceted tourism initiatives to boost tourism in the state. Mrs. Valsa Nair Singh, IAS, Principal Secretary -Tourism, Govt. of Maharashtra underlined the need for maintaining the sustainability of coastal tourism with high return of investment during a session on ‘Investment Opportunities in Maharashtra’ at ‘The Virtual Maritime India Summit’ on 2nd March 2021.

 

During the session, Mrs. Nair puts the spotlight on promoting, developing, and harnessing the potential of Coastal and Beach tourism and emphasized growing the Blue Economy in a sustainable and inclusive manner in Konkan. She also highlighted some of the achievements and initiatives are undertaken by the Maharashtra Govt. towards sustainable coastal tourism in Konkan which include:

 

• Maharashtra State ranks No. 1 in India in Tourism
• Industry status is granted to Hospitality recently and will be implemented from 1^st April 2021
• To reach Konkan Coast, one can travel by air, water, rail, and roadways.
• The first tourist district in the country lies in Konkan i.e. Sindhudurg district
• Special incentives provided to the Special Tourism District under the Maharashtra Tourism Policy
• Development of Tarkarli as a tourist destination and construction of tourist accommodation (1989)
• Encouragement to Bed & Breakfast scheme in the region, to promote home-stays and local economy (1996)
• Successful implementation of Beach Shack Policy (2020), Agri-Tourism Policy (2020) & Caravan Policy (2021)
• The public-Private partnership model for MTDC resorts/open lands
• Inauguration stage of the airport at Chipi (proposed in 2021)
• Ease of doing business – Licenses reduced from 70 to 10 (2021) 
• 3000 Cr Investment MoUs (6000 employment generation) (2021) was recently announced
• Investment MoU signed in Sindhudurg with Taj group, at Shiroda, Vulgar and Fomento Resorts Pvt. Ltd., at Aravali Beach
• World-class scuba diving center, namely Indian Institute of Scuba Diving and Aquatic Sports (IISDA) is operating successfully in Tarkarli, Sindhudurg
• MoU incentives for resort and golf course under Tourism policy to Morve and Munge in Devgad

 

Mrs. Nair also highlighted the initiatives undertaken to promote tourism in the Konkan region including Beach Shacks & Facilities, Swadesh Darshan Scheme, and RTDS Projects in Konkan.

 

The Beach Shack policy will allow the setting up of 10 temporary beach shacks on each beach along the Konkan coast. Eight beaches were identified during the First Phase of the Implementation of this policy.

Under the Swadesh Darshan Scheme, the development of theme-based Sindhudurg Coastal Circuit is 90% complete and it is expected to be fully completed by May 2021.

She stated, “Petroglyphs of Ratnagiri is one of the oldest in Maharashtra (10000 BC) and the experts believe that they were created in prehistoric times and possibly among the oldest ever discovered.”

Mrs. Valsa Nair Singh also presented unique and potential concepts for the development of tourism in Konkan that include:

 

·         Fishing Units, Processing Units, Handicraft, Floating houses, Local Cuisine at Integrated Fishing Village

·         Ropeways, Heritage Museum, Light House excursion, Light and Sound shows at Heritage Sea Ports

4^th March’21: VYRL Originals has always been known to work with young and upcoming artists and this time around they bring to you ‘Dooriyan’ in the soulful voice of Raghav Chaitanya starring the Shivin Narang of Beyhadh 2 fame & Apoorva Arora who shot to fame with College Romance and her various roles in popular web shows.

This song has been finely composed by Anurag Saikia, who previously has been known for composing the popular song ‘Ek Tukda Dhoop’ from the Bollywood movie Thappad which was also sung by Raghav. Dooriyan has been beautifully written by Kunaal Vermaa and it intends to make listeners think about the decisions one makes in a relationship and the value of losing your love    

Directed by Inside Edge Fame - Karan Anshuman, the music video showcases the story of a young couple experiencing the highs & lows in their relationship. Shivin and Apoorva portraying as the couple are shown to have been parted while they are on trek. The gripping music video unfolds the story of Shivin desperately looking for his partner while memories from their past, perfectly summarize how often we don’t value what we have until it’s lost.

Commenting on the track launch, Raghav Chaitanya said, “Dooriyan is an emotional song and very close to my heart. The music video will certainly make the audience hooked till the end. Dooriyan not only urges us to introspect but value our loved ones and Shivin and Apoorva have beautifully portrayed that message.
