 Mumbai March 18, 2021: LEAD, a major EdTech player in India’s K-12 education segment, has strengthened its senior leadership team by appointing Arpit Mundra as Chief Financial Officer and Vipul Redey as Chief Excellence Officer. The announcement comes after the appointment of former Disney+ Hotstar SVP & Head Sales Anupam Gurani as Chief Marketing Officer.

Arpit Mundra brings 18 years of extensive and rich experience in Accounting & Reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis, M&A, and Treasury and Taxation. He is a CA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has previously worked with RIVIGO as a Chief Financial Officer.

 

In his role as CFO at LEAD, Arpit will be responsible for financial stewardship, managing governance, and controls, analyzing the company's financials, besides working closely with the senior management on strategy and creating value for stakeholders.

Veronica Vanij is a star in the making. She takes her fitness very seriously. She has recently added weight training and boxing to up her fitness routine. She has been an avid fitness enthusiast which is fairly apparent from her social media. She started her career with the series Smartphone and now she will be seen in the web series Jo Hukum mere aka alongside Krishna Abhishek and Shreyas Talpade. Veronica has a very good engagement in her social media and the fans definitely want to see much more of her.

We spoke to her on her fitness game and here is what she has got to say, "Fitness has been a very essential part of me. I have always had the rush to get into some kind of fitness activity. Be it running, swimming, or yoga, I loved it all. As a kid, I used to be active in as many sports as I can. Recently I added boxing and weight training and I am absolutely loving the results. The body seems to be upgrading to the needs. The diet is the main focus when one is involved in high-intensity fitness activity.  Or else it can go wrong quickly. I am not a believer in fad diets. I take a diet which is balanced and facilitates performance in all areas of life."

Liza Malik went to spend some quality time with the kids of SOCH India in new Delhi and it was a gallant time. She played various games with the kids in the lovely NGO and cheered them up. SOCH India works with kids from challenging backgrounds and equips them with various skill sets. The kids are from backgrounds where they have had to face major issues due to substance abuse primarily alcohol by either or both parents. It's an NGO with a difference and it has been in service for almost a decade now. Liza Malik sang songs with the kids and they also danced. The kids had a blast and so did Liza. The founder is Mr. Amitabh who himself teaches the children and stays there. Liza is planning to celebrate her holi with the kids too. 

We got in touch with Liza and here is what she has got to say, "It's been an incredible time with the kids. They fill us with so much joy which is our basic human emotion. I forget everything when I am around kids and these kids who are fighting against all tides are such inspiration to me. I have had a lot of challenges in my life and so have these kids just that they are braver. I am giving my heart to them and taking back their love with me with a promise that I would see them soon. I would love to contribute in whatever way possible to these kids. It's my good fortune that I get to spend such a beautiful time with kids."
