स्वतःच्या आवडीचं गाणं निवडून ते सादर करणं तसं सोप्प असतं. पण जेव्हा परीक्षक गाणं देतात, तेव्हा त्या गाण्याला पूर्णपणे न्याय देणं, परीक्षकांच्या अपेक्षांना खरं उतरणं हे जबाबदारीचं काम असतं. गेले अनेक आठवडे भाग्यश्रीला परीक्षांकडून विशेष असं कौतुक मिळालं नव्हतं. पण यंदाच्या आठवड्यात मात्र भाग्यश्रीने 'हम भी कुछ कम नही' हे दाखवत दमदार सादरीकरण करून प्रेक्षकांच्या कौतुकावर स्वतःचं नाव कोरलं.

Himanee Bhatia stars in a short film called the roommates. It's a short film and it would be out on MX player which is a major OTT platform. She is a power-packed performer and she goes to lengths to ace her parts. It's a horror film and one we know is very close to Himanee's heart. She put the team together and the camera was reportedly operated by her mother. This girl knows no stopping and is a total go-getter. When it comes to cinema, she doesn't know the meaning of no. This boundless energy in belief holds her in great stead and it's great to see such passion for cinema in the young. It's a mysterious project and one we can't wait to watch.

Himanee says," This film was shot as a passion project when Covid had just set in, with all my projects delayed. This is my first short film under my production, Himanee Bhatia Films. I hired a camera, which was operated by my mother. The script, costumes, lighting everything was done by me. It is a psychological horror that revolves around a young girl, Gayatri who hears strange noises and has supernatural experiences. She calls a mysterious friend, Tara to come by to help her out. Through the film, we discover how past experiences often make the scariest stories."

Payal says, "I have been a fan of this form as a child. I saw a video of Penelope Cruz as a child when I absolutely loved this form and was wondering what it was actually. When I got the opportunity to learn it for a song sequence in my upcoming, it was just amazing. Life comes full circle and this is truly a manifestation that I had done. I am learning online and it's a beautiful community and teachers that I am working with. I can't wait for the shoot to resume safely. The safety of the people is of prime concern and that is some that can't be compromised. Let's take care of one another and stay safe everyone. The pandemic has shown its ugly head again and we need to be within protocols at all times."
