 Grand Bhartiya Nav Varsh Swagat Yatra organised by Nav Varsh Swagat Samiti - Lalit Tripathi and Mayank Goyal Celebrated Gudi Padwa with Splendor and Joy

9th April 2024 in Mumbai- On the auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa, Nav Varsh Swagat Samiti organized a spectacular Grand Bhartiya Nav Varsh Swagat Yatra, a vibrant celebration welcoming the New Year. The Yatra, attended by over 10,000 enthusiastic participants including Dr Raju Manwani , Gurpreet Kaur Chadha , Shalini Thackeray , Sanjay Nirupam , Nasirr Khan , Ameet Satam , Lata Shukla , Geetanjali Mishra , Durgesh Kumar and many more celebrities, politicians, residents, and more, was a testament to the spirit of unity and festivity.

The procession kicked off from the historic Windermere Building in Oshiwara, Andheri, resonating with the sounds of dhol, traditional folk dances, and the cheers of the attendees. The colourful parade traversed through the lively streets, showcasing women riding bikes adorned with festive decorations, while children joyfully danced to the beats of the drums.

The Yatra culminated at the New Mhada Ground in Swami Samarth Nagar, Andheri, where the festivities reached a crescendo. The air was filled with the jubilant chants of folk songs and the infectious energy of the participants. Attendees from all walks of life came together to mark the beginning of the New Year in a spirit of togetherness and merriment.

Lalit Tripathi expressed his delight at the overwhelming response and shared, "The Grand Bhartiya Nav Varsh Swagat Yatra is a celebration of our rich cultural heritage and the vibrant spirit of Mumbai. It's heartwarming to witness the community coming together to welcome the New Year with such enthusiasm."

Bhoomika hails from a humble background, and her journey to the silver screen is a testament to grit, passion, and unwavering determination. 

“I remember getting a call back from Abhimanyu Ray sir, the very day I auditioned for the part. I was brimming with a sense of joy standing in a queue of another audition in Versova! Haha! “ says Bhoomika, who’s hard-work and talent is bound to take her to great heights of success in the industry. 

 "Dukaan, released on 5th April in theatres is a poignant tale that delicately explores the intricacies of surrogac, and marks Bhoomika's grand entrance into the world of Hindi cinema. Bhoomika portrays the character of Kinjal who is one of the key reasons that compels Jasmine aka Monika Panwar the lead, to start Surrogacy in the first place. Kinjal leaves the audience mesmerized by her performance. With honesty in her eyes, she breathes life into a character and wins the hearts of audiences! 

Reflecting on her experience working on such an inspiring project, Bhoomika shares, "Working on 'Dukaan' has been an immensely gratifying experience. The directors of the film Siddharth-Garima and I bonded on the very first meeting, when I first read the script, tears rolled down my eyes, such was the impact of their writing. Manushi, along with several fashion models, captivated hearts and stole the limelight. The Jewels on the Ramp during IIJS Tritiya Bangalore showcased the new trends and evolution of jewellery for this season including the dominance and demand for lightweight jewellery; redefining utility; multiple wearability; while embracing modernity and tradition.

 

This year's IIJS Tritiya in Bangalore was bigger, ‘smarter’ and better than last year, featuring over 900 exhibitors and 1,900 stalls across 40,000 square meters. It served as a vast marketplace, providing invaluable opportunities for industry players to connect, collaborate, and thrive. It had over 15,000 pre-registered visitors from over 500 cities in India and 60 countries, underscoring the event's global significance.

 

IIJS Tritiya was hailed as the gateway for ‘Gateway to Global gem & jewellery Exports’ by the distinguished dignitaries during the inauguration.
