She also adds a few tips
for a Happy Holi:
1) Play a non-toxic Holi: Choose to play
with herbal, organic, non-toxic colours and encourage your friends to do the
same!
2) Play a water-free Holi: We faced a severe
water crisis last year. Respect our natural resources and avoid wasting too
much water this Holi.
3) Play a respectful Holi: Do not put
colour on animals and pets, it is dangerous and cruel.
4) Play a protected Holi: The skin is our
largest organ. Protect it by wearing long sleeves and trousers. Use oil or
Vaseline the night before to moisturize the skin and hair and help remove
colours easily.
