ACTRESS ANJALI PANDEY BECOMES THE BRAND AMBASSADOR OF AN NGO TO SPREAD AWARENESS ABOUT MENSTRUAL HYGIENE “MAHINA” & TO PROVIDE PADS TO RURAL WOMEN OF INDIA

Anjali Pandey who is riding high on the success of her short film “MAHINA” shares another good news. She is the new brand ambassador of Greenland The- NGO. Anjali is capitalizing on every opportunity coming her way which has the capability of changing the society, be it her short film Mahina or becoming the brand ambassador of Greenland. She aims to help the women in the society by distributing sanitary pads in the rural areas and educating them about the importance of using it.

Anjali along with the NGO also aims to heal the world by stretching out a helping hand to all the cadres of the society and free them of the ruthless and formidable societal norms of casteism, racism, gender inequality, unemployment, and illiteracy.

Anjali Pandey is happy to be a part of this NGO. In her conversation with Mr.  Himanshu Singh Chauhan, Anjali has planned out a route map for the next couple of months which incorporates issues that need urgent attention.

“I am honored to be on board with Greenland. I would like to thank Mr. Himanshu Singh Chauhan for considering me worthy of this responsibility. I believe in the topics which Greenland caters to. They have done some brilliant work in the past, I swear to do my bit” says Anjali.

“Our immediate plan is to do our bit to eradicate corona and improve the health care system in remote areas and educate them about personal hygiene, the importance of health care, etc” adds Pandey.

महाराष्ट्रात लॉकडाऊन जाहीर झाला त्या दरम्यान प्रेक्षकांच्या मनोरंजनासाठी ‘प्लॅनेट मराठी’चे अक्षय बर्दापूरकर आणि ‘गोल्डन रेशो फिल्म्स’चे पियूष सिंह यांनी अमिताभ बच्चन यांची प्रमुख भूमिका असलेला ‘एबी आणि सीडी’ हा चित्रपट ओटीटी प्लॅटफॉर्मवर प्रदर्शित केला आणि आता जागतिक महामारीच्या परिस्थितीत योग्य ती काळजी घेऊन त्यांनी ‘चंद्रमुखी’ या त्यांच्या आगामी मराठी चित्रपटाच्या चित्रिकरणाला सुरुवात करण्याचे ठरविले. अक्षय बर्दापूरकर हे सलग तिसऱ्यांदा पियूष सिंह यांच्यासोबत चित्रपटाची निर्मिती करत आहेत. प्रसिद्ध लेखक विश्वास पाटील यांच्या ‘चंद्रमुखी’ या कादंबरीवर आधारित असलेला हा चित्रपट येत्या नोव्हेंबर महिन्यात ऑन फ्लोअर जाणार आहे. या जागतिक महामारीच्या प्रसंगातून सावरत पुढे येणारे हे पहिले मराठी बॅनर असेल.

चित्रपटाच्या चित्रीकरणाला सुरुवात होणार या बद्दल बोलताना दिग्दर्शक प्रसाद ओक म्हणाले, "दिग्दर्शक म्हणून माझा पुढील चित्रपट 'चंद्रमुखी' येत्या नोव्हेंबरला ऑन फ्लोर जातोय, अर्थात सर्व प्रकारची योग्य काळजी घेऊनच शूटिंग केले जाईल. ब-याच दिवसांनी चित्रपटाच्या सेटवर जातोय, नवीन कामाची सुरुवात होतेय, याचा आनंद आहेच, पण त्याचसोबत जबाबदारी देखील आहे. जानेवारीमध्ये 'चंद्रमुखी'चं पोस्टर तुम्ही पाहिलंत, त्याला खूप प्रेम दिलंत... आता तुम्हांला जाणून घ्यायचं असेल की "चंद्रमुखी" च्या भूमिकेत नक्की कोणती अभिनेत्री आहे आणि इतर कलाकार सुद्धा कोण आहेत...या सगळ्या प्रश्नांची उत्तरं देण्याची आणि माझी नवीन कलाकृती लवकरात लवकर तुमच्या समोर आणण्याची माझी देखील इच्छा आहे...!!! नेहमीप्रमाणे तुमचे आशीर्वाद आणि शुभेच्छा पाठीशी असुद्या...!!! लवकरच शूटिंगचा श्रीगणेशा होणार आहे...!!! गणपती बाप्पा मोरया...!!!"

हिंदी, तामिळ आणि इंटरनॅशनल चित्रपट सृष्टीत बरेच मोठे प्रोजेक्ट्स केल्यानंतर गोल्डन रेशो फिल्म्सने ‘एबी आणि सीडी’च्या निमित्ताने मराठीतही निर्मितीची सुरुवात केली. ‘गोष्ट एका पैठणीची’ या चित्रपटाच्या निर्मितीनंतर गोल्डन रेशो फिल्म्सचे COO पियुष सिंह पुढे देखील मराठी चित्रपटांची निर्मिती करण्यास तयार आहेत. ‘चंद्रमुखी’ हा त्यांचा पॅशन प्रोजेक्ट आहे. याविषयी त्यांचे मत व्यक्त करताना त्यांनी म्हटले की, “पूर्वा पेक्षा आताचा प्रेक्षक वर्ग हा चित्रपटाच्या विषयासाठी अगदी हळवा आणि संवेदनशील आहे. या चित्रपटाला एका नव्या उंचीवर नेण्यासाठी आम्हांला उत्तम टीम लाभली आहे. याक्षणी कलाकार आणि कथानकाविषयी फारसे बोलू शकत नसलो तरी आम्हांला खात्री आहे की प्रेक्षकांना हा चित्रपट नक्की आवडेल.”

अक्षय बर्दापूरकर यांच्यासाठी हा केवळ एक चित्रपट नसून हा ‘लार्जर दॅन लाईफ प्रोजेक्ट’ आहे आणि यावर टिप्पणी करताना त्यांनी म्हटले की, “विषयाच्या कथेसह प्रेक्षकांना एक सुंदर अनुभव देणारा चित्रपट म्हणून ‘चंद्रमुखी’ हे उत्तम उदाहरण आहे. या चित्रपटाची कथा एका स्त्री भोवती फिरते जी समाजात चालणा-या अपारंपारिक मार्गावर  स्वत:च्या वास्तवतेचा शोध घेते. चित्रपटाची कथा सांगण्यास आम्ही उत्साही आहोत, पण त्याच वेळी विश्वास पाटील यांची बेस्टसेलरची सत्यता टिकवून ठेवण्याची देखील मोठी जबाबदारी आहे. मराठी चित्रपटसृष्टीला आणखी उंचीवर नेण्याचे आश्वासन या चित्रपटाने दिले आहे.”

 SINGER SHANNON K SHARES SOME FUNNY AND INTERESTING ANECDOTES FROM HER SHOOTING IN JAIPUR FOR “RUN” 

Shannon K, a globally renowned singer who is riding high on the success of her latest song “Run” shares some anecdotes and her behind the scene experience while shooting “Run”.

“During the filming of the music video, I remember we were heading up to the Fort and we had to climb up to the top of the hill. As the camera rolled and I started to act I guess I got a bit too enthusiastic that I completely forgot where I was and my foot slipped. In that split second I had my entire life flash in front of my face and I actually thought I was going to meet Jesus but luckily I survived” says Shannon K.

In a funny incident, Shannon’s younger sister Annabelle who is the director and the creator of the entire video had a great fall and Shannon, however, couldn’t stop laughing “We were heading towards the location in Jaipur and my sister literally fell face flat on the ground twice. It was hilarious but I had to control my laughter because she was crying and also had to direct me so I wasn’t about to lose my life over that, hahaha

Shannon describes the song “Run” as her personal interpretation of self-confidence and dreams. She highlights the message of diversity and encourages people to be proud of their skin color and ethnic roots.

MACAO LIGHT FESTIVAL 2020 WILL CELEBRATE ITS RICH CULTURE AND HISTORY THROUGH LIGHT ARTISTRY

Organized by Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) and co-organized by Municipal Affairs Bureau, Cultural Affairs Bureau, and Sports Bureau, Macao Light Festival 2020 will brighten up the city with colorful lights and carnival elements every night between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. from 26 September to 31 October 2020.

Held for the 6 consecutive years, this year’s Macao Light Festival will showcase the rich culture and urban charm of Macao, while demonstrating the city is a safe place to visit during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Furthermore, the festival will also highlight the beauty of the World Heritage architecture Macao possesses, the characteristics that distinguish the various communities that make up the city, and manifestations of the status of Macao as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy.

Among the highlights of the festival are the projection mapping shows, with projections at heritage buildings in Tap Seac Square featuring as one of the main spots this year. The shows will also “paint” once again the façades of the Macau Yat Yuen Canidrome, formerly a dog racing track; and the Cozinha Pinocchio restaurant at Largo dos Bombeiros in Taipa Village, along with two other new sites on this edition, namely China Products Company building in Hong Kung Temple Square and the Wong Ieng Kuan Library in Areia Preta Urban Park.

In addition to video mapping shows, different spots along with the Nam Van Lake Nautical Centre, Anim’Arte NAM VAN, the Leisure Area at Rua do General Ivens Ferraz in Fai Chi Kei, Taipa Village, and several other locations in the different parishes of the city are among the 12 sites forming the network of routes for this year’s festival, featuring light installations and interactive games. Along the routes are spots to take selfies and check-in on social media.

Commenting on the same, Mr. Arzan Khambatta, Head- Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) India said, “Since its inception, the Macao Light Festival has been a huge hit amongst both tourists and residents. With an aim of narrating Macao’s diverse culture and attractions through merging the art of light with technology, we are excited to announce the sixth edition of Macao Light Festival featuring the unique architecture, rich history & culture.”

The Light Mapping will successively come into the spotlight with all necessary precautionary measures such as temperature check, the mandatory wearing of face mask, proper sanitization, etc. and will be covering 15 locations across four districts.

In 2015, MGTO launched the first edition of the Macao Light Festival is held annually at various locations in Macao Peninsula and on the Islands. The event aims to draw visitors to different districts of the city for an appreciation of Macao by night and to learn about the local culture and history from innovative angles shaped by light artistry.

 Ace Singer Madhav Mahajan takes to Mediterranean diet to keep himself healthy and fit

Madhav Mahajan has taken to a Mediterranean diet during the lockdown and it has changed his look completed. A Mediterranean diet has the right amount of macros and micros and it has really given a boost of energy and a stark difference to Madhav. 

We spoke to madhav on this and here is what he has to say, " I have taken to this diet and my body is taking time to get accustomed to it.  I feel more agile and energetic. The body feels different now. I can concentrate better now. And this lockdown was a great time to try out something new and reinvent which I tried doing it with be it Music or relationships or diet. I am loving the results. Everyone should try it once in a while."
