The much-awaited horror action-comedy The Bhootnii hit theatres yesterday. The film stars Sanjay Dutt, Mouni Roy, Sunny Singh, Palak Tiwari, Aasif Khan, and Beyounick in pivotal roles. Despite a limited screen count, the movie has grossed ₹1.40 crore, marking a solid start at the box office.

The Bhootnii has been appreciated by the audiences for its fresh storytelling and bone-tickling punchlines and impressive perfromances. The music has also resonated well with audiences, and the eclectic ensemble cast has left a strong impression.

सिक्कीमच्या निसर्गरम्य पार्श्वभूमीवर चित्रीत झालेल्या ‘बंजारा’ चित्रपटाचा ट्रेलर नुकताच प्रदर्शित झाला असून, या ट्रेलरमध्ये तीन मित्रांचा भावनांनी भरलेला आणि रहस्यांनी गुंतलेला प्रवास उलगडताना दिसतो. १६ मे रोजी प्रदर्शित होणाऱ्या या चित्रपटाने प्रेक्षकांची उत्सुकता शिगेला पोहोचवली आहे.

‘क्रांतीज्योति विद्यालय – मराठी माध्यम’ लवकरच प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीला 

‘झिम्मा’, ‘झिम्मा २’, ‘फसक्लास दाभाडे’ यांसारखे हिट चित्रपट देणारे प्रसिद्ध अभिनेते आणि दिग्दर्शक हेमंत ढोमे यांनी महाराष्ट्र दिनानिमित्ताने त्यांच्या ‘क्रांतीज्योति विद्यालय – मराठी माध्यम’ या आगामी चित्रपटाची घोषणा केली आहे. 

क्षिती जोग यांच्या चलचित्र मंडळी या निर्मिती संस्थेचा हा पाचवा सिनेमा असणार आहे तर आनंद एल राय यांच्या कलर यल्लो प्रॅाडक्शन सोबत त्यांचा सलग तिसरा चित्रपट असणार आहे. 

मराठी शाळांमधील शिक्षणपद्धती, मातृभाषेत शिकण्याचे महत्त्व अधोरेखित करणारा हा चित्रपट मनोरंजन करताना विचार करायला लावणारा ठरेल. शिक्षण क्षेत्रातील बदल, मराठी शाळांची कमी होणारी संख्या आणि मातृभाषेच्या माध्यमातून होणाऱ्या जडणघडणीवर हा चित्रपट प्रकाश टाकणार आहे.

हेमंत ढोमे यांनी याआधी ‘झिम्मा’, झिम्मा २’, ‘फसक्लास दाभाडे’ या गाजलेल्या चित्रपटाद्वारे संवेदनशील विषय मनोरंजनाच्या माध्यमातुन अत्यंत प्रभावीपणे मांडल्या होत्या. आता ‘क्रांतीज्योति विद्यालय – मराठी माध्यम’ हा एक वेगळा सामाजिक विषय प्रेक्षकांसाठी ते घेऊन येत आहेत. 

दिग्दर्शक हेमंत ढोमे म्हणतात, “मराठी माध्यमातून मिळालेलं शिक्षण हे माझं बळ ठरलं, अडथळा नाही. मातृभाषेत शिकल्यामुळे मला माझी संस्कृती, परंपरा आणि माणसं समजली आणि याच जडणघडणीचा अभिमान मी जगभर मिरवू शकलो. आपल्या मातीत रुजावं आणि आभाळाला भिडावं!आज मी जो काही आहे, तो माझ्या मराठी शाळांमुळेच आहे. माझे शालेय शिक्षण हे रायगड जिल्ह्यातील वेगवेगळ्या ठिकाणी एकूण आठ मराठी शाळांमधून झाल. ज्यात जिल्हा परिषद शाळा देखील होत्या ज्याचा मला प्रचंड अभिमान आहे. परंतू आजकाल मराठी शाळा बंद पडत आहेत, त्यांची पट संख्या खालावत आहे ही चिंतेची बाब असून या चित्रपटातून मातृभाषेतील शिक्षण हे कमीपणाचं नसून, खऱ्या अर्थाने समृद्ध करणारं असतं हे अधोरेखित करण्याचा माझा प्रयत्न असणार आहे.”

महाराष्ट्राच्या सामाजिक आणि राजकीय घडामोडी जेव्हा संभ्रमाच्या उंबरठ्यावर उभ्या राहतात, तेव्हा इतिहास आपली उपस्थिती पुन्हा नोंदवतो. या पार्श्वभूमीवर, लेखक-दिग्दर्शक महेश मांजरेकर एक नवा सिनेमॅटिक प्रवास घेऊन येत आहेत — ‘पुन्हा शिवाजीराजे भोसले!’.  महाराष्ट्र दिनाच्या औचित्याने या चित्रपटाची अधिकृत घोषणा करण्यात आली असून “महाराष्ट्र फक्त महाराजांनाच ऐकतो, म्हणूनच पुन्हा शिवरायांची महाराष्ट्राला गरज आहे,” असे सांगत महेश मांजरेकर यांनी या चित्रपटाचा सामाजिक आणि भावनिक गाभा स्पष्ट केला.

“हे माझ्या महाराष्ट्राचं भविष्य आहे. यांच्या भावनांशी खेळलात, तर याद राखा... गाठ माझ्याशी आहे. या शिवगर्जनेच्या सोबतीने ‘पुन्हा शिवाजीराजे भोसले!’  या चित्रपटाचा उद्देश स्पष्ट होतो. हा केवळ ऐतिहासिक चरित्रपट न राहाता, आधुनिक महाराष्ट्राला त्याच्या मूळ विचारांकडे परत नेण्याचा प्रयत्न असून हा सिनेमा ऐतिहासिक व्यक्तिरेखेचा गौरव करतानाच, आजच्या समाजातील निष्क्रियतेला जाबही विचारणार आहे.
