Betrayal has been one of the strongest emotions. Tusshar Kapoor's Maarrich dropped an interesting musical piece titled 'Jaa Ne Jaa' portraying this emotion. The soulful melody is penned by Rashmi Virag and composed by Amaal Mallik. Delivering justice to Amaal's composition, Sunidhi Chauhan has sung the song with utmost grace. The song depicts a sense of yearning towards life as the protagonist Tusshar Kapoor is fighting against all odds.

Amaal Malik says “The emotion behind the song is complex. Portraying the same through the song was a very exciting part."

Sunidhi Chauhan says “It's different from usual songs, it has a touch of jazz which adds a layer of hidden emotions into it."

Maarrich is an upcoming thriller movie set to release on 9 Dec 2022 in cinemas. A Dhruv Lather directorial featuring Naseeruddin Shah, Tusshar Kapoor, Anita Hassanandani and Rahul Dev in lead.

'गोष्ट एका पैठणीची'च्या निमित्ताने मंत्रालयातील महिलांसाठी खास स्क्रिनिंग

नुकताच प्रदर्शित झालेला आणि सध्या चर्चेत असलेला ‘गोष्ट एका पैठणीची’ या चित्रपटाला प्रेक्षकांकडून उत्तम प्रतिसाद मिळत आहे. या चित्रपटाच्या प्रदर्शनाच्या निमित्ताने मुंबईत काही ठिकाणी स्पर्धांचे, खेळांचे, बाईक रॅलीचे, लकी ड्रॉचे आयोजनही करण्यात आले. या वेळी बाईक रॅलीमध्ये सहभागी झालेल्या महिलांना, खेळातील विजेत्यांना पैठणी देऊन सन्मानित करण्यात आले. तर काही ठिकाणी या चित्रपटाच्या विशेष शोचे आयोजनही करण्यात आले. नुकताच राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार प्राप्त झालेल्या या चित्रपटाचा मंत्रालयातील महिलांसाठी खास शो आयोजित करण्यात आला होता. या शोला महाराष्ट्राचे वन आणि सांस्कृतिक मंत्री सुधीर मुनगंटीवार यांची प्रमुख उपस्थिती लाभली होती. 

सांस्कृतिक मंत्री सुधीर मुनगंटीवार यांनी राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार मिळाल्याबद्दल चित्रपटाच्या संपूर्ण टीमचे अभिनंदन केले. ते पुढ म्हणाले, ‘’आयुष्याचा अर्थ समजवून सांगणारी 'गोष्ट एका पैठणीची'ची कथा हृदयाला भिडते. सुख कसे शोधावे, हे चित्रपटात उत्तमपणे मांडण्यात आलंय. सायली संजीवच्या सहजसुंदर अभिनयाने मन जिंकलं.’’

प्लॅनेट मराठीचे प्रमुख, संस्थापक अक्षय बर्दापूरकर म्हणतात, " पैठणी म्हटलं की महिलांच्या जिव्हाळ्याचा विषय. चित्रपटाच्या प्रमोशन दरम्यान आम्ही अनेक खेळांचे, स्पर्धेचे आयोजन केले. या वेळी मोठ्या संख्येने महिला सहभागी झाला होत्या. या स्पर्धेतील महिलांचा उत्साह खरंच उल्लेखनीय होता. यावेळी अभिनेत्री सायली संजीवनेही या महिलांसोबत धमाल केली. चित्रपटातील इंद्रायणी ही त्यांना आपल्यातीलच एक गृहिणी वाटली. या वेळी अनेकींनी चित्रपट पाहाणार असल्याची इच्छाही व्यक्त केली. हे सगळंच खूप सुखावह आहे. मंत्रालयातील महिलाही कामात व्यस्त असतात. त्यामुळे त्यांना सकारात्मक विचार दाखवण्याच्या उद्देशाने, त्यांचे थोडे मनोरंजन करण्याच्या निमित्ताने आम्ही खास शो आयोजित केला आणि मुख्य म्हणजे या शोला आपल्या महाराष्ट्राचे वन आणि सांस्कृतिक मंत्री सुधीर मुनगंटीवार उपस्थित होते. त्यांनीही चित्रपटाला शुभेच्छा दिल्या. यावेळी सायलीसोबत महिलांनी हा चित्रपट एन्जॅाय केला.’’

After the successful launch of the 2nd edition of Film & TV Trade Preview’s “High Flyers, 50” at The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake, the 3rd edition of “High Flyers 50 Global Achievers” was a tremendous success. In this edition, global individuals of different nationalities were honored for their remarkable achievements.

This sensational awards night was held on the 5th of December 2022 in Mumbai. Lord Rami Ranger, a Member of the House of Lords of the United Kingdom attended the event as a chief guest. Bollywood celebrity Preeti Jhangiani conferred all the winners. The event was hosted by famous actor Aman Verma. Other eminent personalities were also present at the event.

Only the third Indian player to win the world title at the Tata Archery Academy's Cadet World Youth Archery Championships, Komalika Bari was also on the list of this edition.

The Indian Army & Innovations India are conducting filmmaking Workshops to empower youth in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh at the ongoing Dil Maange More Short Film Festival. Award winning filmmakers Rahat Kazmi and Tariq Khan conducted an interactive filmmaking workshop for the youth in multiple locations like Surankote, Poonch, Rajouri and more. 

The first ever Dil Maange More Short Film Festival curated by internationally acclaimed festival curator Captain Rahul Bali is an initiative of Northern Command of Indian Army in association with Innovations India for empowering the of youth of J&K and Ladakh in line with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterating the importance of activities for nation building.

"In 1996, when two young boys from border area of Poonch were dreaming to make films, they were supported by the Indian Army with a small donation for their student film. The two boys Rahat Kazmi and Tariq Khan reached the international platforms and made their name with films like Lihaaf, Mantostaan, Side A Side B and won several international film awards. Now in association with Indian Army they are travelling to far flung areas of Jammu & Kashmir to educate the young boys and girls and aspiring filmmakers to come forward and make films for Dil Maange More," says a member of the short film festival.

This month long festival will culminate with a grand finale on 16th December at HQ Northern Command in Udhampur where a number of dignitaries and renowned film personalities from Bollywood would be present to give away awards and prizes to the winners. 

The highlight of the festival is that apart from cash prizes and merit certificates, the top 5 winners of the Short Film Making Competition will be mentored by award winning filmmakers like Imtiaz Ali, Rahul Mittra, Umesh Shukla, Rahat Kazmi and Tariq Khan. The winning films will also be showcased at International Indian Film Festivals curated by Captain Rahul Bali across the world, catapulting the winners to national and international fame. 

Speaking about the initiative, Rahat Kazmi said, "When we started there was no support. We chose filmmaking when other youth picked up guns in J&K. Being from far flung area, we did not know how to make our way to Bollywood. But somehow god was kind to us and we could reach where we wanted and we are still going ahead with more projects. I am trying hard with help from my friends so that more filmmakers should come out, so that more voices come out from J&K - a land with diversities and thousands of stories that need to be told to the world."
