Tom Hanks Says “The love for Oscars never gets old!”
Tom received his first Oscar Nomination after 19 years for “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood”


Tom Hanks, who won two consecutive Oscars for “Philadelphia” and “Forrest Gump” in the ’90s. Tom is nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role for Oscar 2020. On January 13th Tom Hanks received his first Academy Award nomination after 19 years for his portrayal of children's television creator Fred Rogers in the drama “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.
 On his nomination, he said, 'I'm honoured to be included with the calibre of actors such as Anthony Hopkins, Joe Pesci, Al Pacino, and Brad Pitt. It will be a grand night.' 

In the movie, Tom Hanks estimated that he watched "about 8 million hours" of Mister Roger's programming.  "I saw every one that I could possibly see". He explains “this challenge was different….When you are not delivering a punch line and you're just trying to re-create who the man was, and the way the man thought, well, you end up starting over from whole cloth,"
The actor has won twice but has not been nominated since 2001. He previously was nominated for performances in Cast Away (2001), Saving Private Ryan (1999) and Big (1989). Hanks won back-to-back Oscars for his work in Philadelphia (1994) and Forrest Gump (1995).
The actor said getting nominated for Oscars is "the same wonderful moment".
"You know, you always -- you want to go to the pancake breakfast, you know? You want to be invited. You want to make the playoffs. And when the numbers come in and your peers are actually the one who give you that nod, I bow down and in humble submission to Divine Providence," said Tom.
The 92nd Annual Academy Awards is set for Sunday, February 9 at the Dolby Theatre in the Hollywood section of Los Angeles. The award gala will be aired live on Star Movies on February 10 morning in India.

BISLERI JOINS THE PANEL OF NATIONAL CONVENTION 2020

~ Bisleri spreads awareness on plastic recycling at National convention 2020 by Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini ~


20th January 2020, Mumbai: Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini in collaboration with National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR) and All India Plastics Manufacturers' Association (AIPMA) organized a National Convention on 18th January 2020 at Keshav Srushti, Uttan, Bhayander, Thane (near Mumbai), on the theme ‘Elimination of Single-Use Plastics (SUPs). Mr. Angelo GeorgeCEO Bisleri International was among the panelist and shared his views on consumer need for clean and safe water, the role of affordable packaging materials and the need of educating people about responsible disposal of used plastic. Bisleri’s initiative – ‘Bottles for Change’ which works on the same topics were presented before the audience. While Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra graced the valedictory ceremony.
Over a year ago, Bisleri successfully launched Bottles for Change an initiative of plastic recycling that aims to create awareness among citizens about the importance of how plastic should be treated as a valuable resource and not as waste. Through this initiative, Bisleri ensures channelizing all kinds of used clean plastic for recycling, increasing the value of the material, thus ensuring the greener cleaner environment.
India, today is on the verge of starting a historic movement by addressing the issue of Single-Use Plastics, setting an example for the world after our Hon’ble Prime Minister has called on the nation to work towards ending the consumption of single-use plastics by 2022. The goal of the National Convention was to start narratives and discussions on creating possibilities for preventing single-use plastic and to identify solutions that can be implemented and scaled up eventually.
The idea behind this conference was to bring together the key stakeholders: Government, Industry, NGOs, Civil Society Organizations, Start-ups, and Academicians to synergies best practices to explore innovative ways to deal with the issue of single-use plastics. An EXPO of innovation technologies in India that are targeting the minimization of single use-plastics was also organized as part of this convention.
Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini’s flagship program, the Annual National Convention has over the years evolved into an academic platform generating nationwide deliberations on topics of high public interest.

There’s finally a festival for TikTok stars and Instagram influencers. 
EPIC FAM JAM brought together India’s biggest Internet sensations and their super fans. Launched by digital media firm Qyuki and ticketing platform Paytm Insider, the debut edition of the festival was built on the concept of a meet-and-greet to offer an immersive and entertaining experience.
Samir Bangara (Co-founder and MD, Qyuki Digital Media) said in a statement, There’s a digital revolution we are witnessing in India which is redefining stardom. New-age Internet superstars on Instagram and TikTok are engaging the youth in a way we’ve never seen before. EPIC FAM JAM consisted of a live concert featuring the artists performing a set of songs and dance. Festival-goers met and bonded with the artists, made collaborative videos and upgraded their ticket to be followed back by the stars on social media. The festival also hosted masterclasses and workshops led by leading content creators. The evening came to a close with the #EpicAfterParty where 50 fans got to hang out with the artists at a secret location.

TV actor Arishfa Khan and Adnaan Shaikh launched their Diamond Ring song

Child actor Arishfa Khan, who worked as a child actor in TV shows like Veera, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Jennie Aur Juju, and Baal Veer to name a few has grown up into a beautiful teenager. She was particularly loved for her innocent face and acting talent. She has launched her new music video Diamond Ring with TikTok star Adnaan Shaikh at Amesthhyyst Lounge. The video is produced by Manoj Lakhani of White Billionaire Records. The single song is sung by Ajay and Actress Pakhi Hegde. Pakhi Hegde who is also featuring in this video debuts as a singer with this video. The song is written by Sanjeev Chaturvedi and composed by Sanjeev - Ajay which is directed by Akshay K Agarwal. Akshay Kaledy is the project designer of this music video. Manoj Lakhani is also planning to give chance to new singers and composers in his music label. He is also planning to make a new single Wedding Ring which will be launched very soon. Adnaan Shaikh is also making his debut in this video. Faisu, Hasnain, Shaam of Team 07 group, Ajaz Khan, Kressy Singh, Bhavin Bhanushali and others came to attend the event. The launch party went till vee hours.
