tools, gauges, instruments and special equipment, understand constructional features and functions of fuel injection pump and feed pump, learn the properties and use of lubricating oil and maintenance schedule, two strokes and four stroke engine, working of typical fuel system, prepare estimate for repairs.

Javed Akhtar is Indian Music Industry’s “Person of the Year”

Eminent script writer, lyricist, poet and Chairman of IPRS, Mr. Javed Akhtar was recognized and awarded with the inaugural Indian Music Industry “PERSON OF THE YEAR” award.

In a glittering function organized by the IMI during the first “DIALOGUE- Indian Music Conclave” organized by the IMI which is the apex Indian Music Industry body, Mr. Akhtar was presented with the award by Mr. Shridhar Subramaniam President of Sony Music India and Chairman of IMI and by Seymour Stein, Co-founder/ Chairman Sire Records and VP Warner Bros Records.

An audio-visual which was played during the presentation contained messages from personalities such as Oscar winner and renowned music maestro AR Rahman, Filmmaker Karan Johar etc., demonstrated the respect with which Mr. Akhtar is viewed across the film and music industry.

Stakeholders in the music sector such as Vikram Mehra, MD Saregama, Devraj Sanyal MD & CEO Universal Music Group India and South Asia spoke of the immense respect that Mr Javed Akhtar has gathered the industry by ensuring that the creator and music business communities build bridges in an effort to work together for the success and betterment of the industry and for his role in ensuring that authors, composers settle their long standing with the music industry which had been festering for years.

Shridhar Subramaniam, Chairman of IMI said that, “this award is recognition of Javed Saab’s outstanding leadership which will allow the industry now to concentrate on bigger challenges and to expand and bring value to all stakeholders and users of music.”

In his address to the conference on receiving the award, Mr Javed Akhtar said, that the creator was an indispensable part of the music industry and the soft power of creators could be a critical part of the strength of the music industry as it deals with the serious challenges posed by technology. He said, “this award is not only recognition of me, it is recognition for all stakeholders in the Industry- of the extremely positive and mature fashion in which the industry now conducts and views itself”.

Mandar Thakur, COO of Times Music and Director of IPRS said that, Javed Saab’s status as a leader is not only limited to IPRS but is acknowledged across the industry- all of this as a result of the extremely positive and constructionist role he has played in bringing together stakeholders on one table. The IMI Music Person of the Year award is recognition of this reality”

Devraj Sanyal MD & CEO of Universal Music Group, India and South Asia said, “Javed Saab’s exemplary leadership and even handed approach to all stakeholders has brought this industry to an extremely positive point - something we have not seen for quite some time now. India’s crème-de-la-crème honoured at WCRC’s Ideasfest 2018 THE PRIDE OF INDIA AWARDS

The 4^th year of The Pride of India Awards was a unique and special event in itself. With many crèmes de la crème being present for the function gracing the event. This occasion did not only see some stellar talk sessions and the deserving nominations take away the trophies, but also did it endorse societal causes and Indian cinema memorabilia. The theme of this year’s awards function was Lead the Change.

Honouring these heroes across industries is World Consulting and Research Corporation’s Ideasfest 2018, which had its third very successful edition on August 27, 2018 at Mumbai’s glittering Sahara Star Hotel’s Jade Ballroom.

Ideasfest primal day saw a lot of ecstasy, prestige, emotions and of course, highly groomed celebrities, industry stalwarts, notable CEOs and top brands. The glittering evening began with a key note speech, followed by talk shows and panel discussion, launch of the WCRC 2018 Annual Report and the awards ceremonies. Nowrosjee Wadia Maternity Hospital 

to be the 1st Hospital in India to get  Accreditation from QAI for its IVF Centre

·         IVF Centre witnesses 15-20 new cases everyday

·         Wadia IVF center cuts treatment cost by 25% - 50% , considering affordability

·         Around 27 million couples in india faces infertility.

28th August, 2018, Mumbai: IVF Centre, Nowrosjee Wadia Maternity Hospital, becomes first in the country to get accreditation from QAI (Quality and Accreditation Institute). The accreditation was given by Dr. B.K.Rana Founding CEO, QAI.

On January 15th, 2016, the IVF Centre, Nowrosjee Wadia Maternity Hospital opened its doors for the public. Inaugurated by Maharashtra Health Minister Deepak Sawant, the center aims at providing the IVF facilities to every strata of the society. It is first of its kind among the public trust hospitals in Maharashtra. The centre cites 15000 patients in OPD and 10000 IPD patients annually. With 15-20 new cases everyday and a success rate of 60%, this  is a boon for those couples who are unable to bear children. The first baby conceived at the Nowrosjee Wadia IVF center was delivered on 18th April, 2017. Just recently started, the center will also provide cancer patients an opportunity to experience parenthood.

Dr. Minnie Bodhanwala, CEO, Wadia Hospital, “Being honoured with QAI accreditation is matter of pride for the hospital as well and for our country. The treatment costs of various Assisted Reproduction Techniques is very high and many times out of reach of a common man and the Wadia IVF center will cut it by 25% - 50%, considering affordability. Around 27million couples in India suffer from infertility and  to see a smile on their face watching their baby is a sense of achievement for us ”

IVF Centre:

The center also boasts of a Post Graduate training facility with fellowship programs for future IVF Specialists.. Studies show that 20% of the married couples in India are childless due to infertility and while making the ART treatments affordable and accessible till the bottom of the societal pyramid, the quality aspect has not been compromised. Facilities for cryopreservation of ova and sperm are available for those who want to conceive later in life.
