her next release "Sunshine Music Tours and Travels" where she redefines the
character of a typical Bollywood ‘Maa”
She
is spicy, she is funny & she is definitely not the quintessential “Maa” of
Bollywood. Essaying the role of Pushpa, Divyajyotee Sharma is playing the role of a
mother but to your surprise, she isn’t the boring “Maa” usually portrayed on
the screen. Infact, through this film you will see her in a never-seen-before
avatar when she will take you to the memorable journey of your life from Kashmir
to Goa “This has been the most
memorable film of my life. Not just in regards to the character but also the
journey through out the film was something I will cherish all my life. Although
I have done so many films but this film will always be special to me”
Though,
she is playing the character of a modern mother but she emphasizes on the fact
that her character hasn’t taken away from the basis essence of the mother
-daughter relationship “Although my character is of a modern mother but the
essence of a mother-daughter relationship hasn’t taken a back seat. In real and
reel life the bonding between a mother and daughter is the most sacred
relationship in the world. After a point of time, the mother becomes a best
friend to her daughter. My character in the film deeply touches every emotion
of this relationship”
The film Sunshine Music Tours and Travels
is an unpredictable chaotic journey with elements of laughter and drama. It revolves around
the story of two young boys who are chasing their dreams and take up a road
journey from Kashmir to Goa along with several strangers. A travel musical set to
release on September 2nd; it is aimed at people who are young at
heart.
