Saffrons-Eventz & Saffrons Multimedia Publications has organized Beauty Contest “Saffrons India Queen (Mrs), Princess (Miss) & Prince 2017". The event took place in Mumbai on 18th of February 2017 at Manik Sabha Griha, Bandra, Mumbai & on 25th it held in Gujarat (Ahmedabad). Next show is on 18th of February in Madhya Pradesh (Indore/Bhopal/Jabalpur) & on 25th in Goa. There are altogether 11 shows in 11 States of India, In the coming months the Contest will held in Chandigarh, Delhi, Kolkata, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Bengaluru, Hyderabad & Chennai. The Finale of the event will be held in Mumbai. This is the first of its kind beauty contest where Mrs, Miss & Mr will be walking on same ramp. The beauty contest criteria for Queen(Mrs) should be married & above 18 years of age, no age, no height, no weight and no size criteria, they should be successful women(Achievers), for Princess(Miss) Age above 16 to 25 yrs, Height minimum 5.4" Good Looking, No Divorce & No Foreigners are allowed to contest & for Mr age above 18 yrs with good physic, height above 5.9. .

A GREAT YEAR FOR CREATIVITY

"MELANGE" INIFD Bandra Annual College fest spearheaded by Mr. Vivek Dhawan & Disha Dhawan Tripathi  of INIFD Bandra (Inter National Institute of Fashion Designing)

27th February, 2017 in Mumbai- The venue got a colorful facelift, creativity and energy of thousands of student artists spilled over across grounds. There was a display of creative art work in all its form by the students of INIFD Bandra at "MELANGE".

The word "MELANGE" which is defined as "a varied mixture" is exactly what the students aimed to present. The quality of work on display was credit to the hard work and dedication students showcased eg- Creating Five Continents, Creative Sculptors etc.

They showcased South America Culture through-- Carnivals of Brazil, Showcasing 35 facts of Brazil,  Country flag  made through woolen thread, dress made through newspaper, Decor done through bottles and light, Celebrity portray South America on Wooden cardboard, favourite game Football made In 3D effect

The students had also put in display Winter World Antarctica by building a Polla bear 5'5 feet, Painting made from charcoal etc. Europe Culture was displayed through Cycle, Street Light, Travel Bag,  Dance Form, Cross Stitch etc.

Vivek Dhawan says "We put creative art to work, helping young people develop the personal and professional skills to meaningfully shape their futures for the better. Creativity allows them to express and trust themselves. It builds a spirit of inquiry and exploration. Participants come away loving art, loving learning, and realizing they’re powerful & talented beyond measure"



Disha Dhawan Tripathi says "The fest is an opportunity to teach valuable, technical and developmental skills while creating profound connections between them & their art. It’s part of their step into the professional world. It’s part of the experience of being an exhibiting, practicing artist. They’re installing their own work — it’s part of their professional experience which will help them in their future"

The prestigious 16th  Annual Gujarati Screen and Stage Awards 2016 completed  sweet  sixteen with grandeur and glam. 

The only of its kind grand tradition of felicitating best artists and technicians very year has created history by completing  16th celebration this year. 49 best Gujarati artists were felicitated at The 16th Annual Transmedia Gujarati Screen and Stage Awards 2016, which was held at Hotel Tulip Star, Juhu, Mumbai.

This year, was a record 45 Gujarati films participated for awards and also the competition was between 31 Mumbai dramas, 18 Gujarat Dramas, 5 Television serials. More then 350 artists and technicians were nominated in around 42 various categories.

The 16th year was celebrated with grandeur of settings and Lights  and The star studded glamour of performances by Film and Tv Stars of young generation.

Mr. Rashmi Kamdar and Mrs Bhavna Kamdar (USA) is sponsoring Rs. 51,000/- cash Prize for Life Time Achievement Awardees since 2004. Mrs. Rupa Ananad Pandit is sponsoring 51,000/- for Best Mumbai Drama .

Shri Jasmin Shah, MD of Transmedia made the moment energetic amongst the present audience of 4,000 when he Thanks the Chief Minister of Gujarat for announcing encouraging Policy for Gujarati Films, which resulted in maximum films this year.  He predicted that, when the awards started in 2001, only 8 to 10 films were made in a year, it has increased gradually to 30-40, but after the declaration of policy yearly 100 films will be made and the Gujarati Film Industry will cross 100 crore. Also there will be a great work generation for the Artists and Technicians.

The dignitaries present on the dias were Film Star Jitendra Kapoor, Shri Manohar Kanungo, Shri Jayantilal Gada of Pen Video, Sanjay Upadhyaya and Anuj Poddar of colors -Viacom 18,  Manoj Desai (producer “khuda gavah’ ), Manoj Joshi,Maryam Zakaria,Akanksha Puri,Padamshri Bhikhudan Gadhavi, and many others. They all wished Jasmin Shah for the 16th year and also supported to his thoughts for Gujaratis at one voice.

In Mumbai Drama ‘Prem nu Pay TM’ and ‘yug Purush’ shared maximum awards, whilst In Gujarat Drama ‘Devdasini’ of Surat, ‘A rear view’ of Jamnagar and ‘Samudra Manthan’ of Ahmedabad shared most awards. Tv serial ‘Shukra-Mangal’ won major awards whilst in Films “Thai Jashe”, ‘wrong side Raju”, ‘Romkom” and ‘’ Je pan kahish te sachu kahish’ shared major awards, Sneha Devgania awarded Best Actress for ‘je pan kahish te sachu kahish” and Malhar Thakar awarded Best actor for ‘Thai Jashe”.

 “Wrong side Raju” was declared Best Film and RED FM Listener’s choice best film was declared “Thai Jashe”.

This year also this entire event will telecast on ‘Colors Gujarati’  and then on “Soham” tv channel.
Life Time achievement Award was presented to Annapurna Shukla and Naresh Kanodia.

"RASHTRAPUTRA" AZAD IS BACK

It was a great evening of 27th February 2017, which is now a date to remember as after an interval of six decades the legendary film company and Pillar of Indian Cinema, 'The Bombay Talkies Studios', makes a comeback with Film "RASHTRAPUTRA" to be made in twenty-six Indian and foreign languages. This is the first time phenomenon in the history of world cinema. "RASHTRAPUTRA" is a movie based on the thoughts and philosophy of the greatest revolutionary freedom fighter Chandrashekhar Azad.

On the 27th of february 2017, 'The Bombay Talkies Studios' are paying their tribute to Shri Chandrashekhar Azad on his "VEERGATI DIWAS" 

Aazaad was a student of military school and now the commander of 'The Bombay Talkies Studios' has a definite aim and ambition to reinforce Nationalism
