‘Sakhya Re’ recreates its magic after 44
years on silver screen in ‘Ranangan’
Old songs have their own charm of
taking us down the memory lane and what can get better than experiencing the
same era once again on silver screen. Swwapnil and Sachin starrer Ranangan is
bringing the renowned Sakhya Re song back to us.
The song ‘Sakhya Re’ was sung by
the singing queen Lata Mangeshkar in
Marathi movie Samna which wooed audience’s heart and recreating it was a
big task to helm but instead of all the challenges Guru Thakur wrote the song
around only one line Sakhya Re Ghayal Me Harini on the tunes of Rahul Ranade
sung by Anandi Joshi.
The movie brings Swwapnil Joshi
and Sachin Pilgaonkar together after 10 years, also starring Siddharth
Chandekar, Suchitra Bandekar, Anand ingle and debutant Pranali Ghogare.
Ranangan is presented by 52 Weeks
