Dabang Delhi KC stop Patna Pirates second half comeback to win in PKL Season 10

MUMBAI, 5th January 2024: Despite a remarkable second-half comeback, the Patna Pirates fell short of a point loss (37-38) to Dabang Delhi KC at the Dome by NSCI on Wednesday. Dabang Delhi's Ashu Malik (10 points) and Patna Pirates' raiders Sachin (10 points) and M Sudhakar (9 points) were the standout performers of the evening.  

In a blistering first-half performance, Dabang Delhi KC inflicted two ALL OUTs on the Pirates. The first came within the first 10 minutes, as they took a five-point lead, and the second followed merely six minutes later to give them a 10-point advantage.

Dabang Delhi KC's raiders, Malik, Meetu Sharma, and Manjeet logged an incredible 13 points from 20 raids in the first half, leaving the Patna Pirates chasing shadows. Malik in particular was not tackled even once in the first half thus registering a SUPER RAID with a minute left in the half. Time and again Sachin had pulled the Pirates out of trouble in the season, but on the day, he was subdued by a confident Dabang Delhi KC defense as they took a 13-point advantage into the break.

The Patna Pirates defence finally clicked in the second half, and inflicted an ALL OUT of their own, to cut the lead down to six points. Sachin came to life soon after, registering a SUPER RAID to take out Ashish, Vikrant, and Mohit to pull them closer.

The Patna Pirates' surge continued through the half, as Sachin and M Sudhakar's brilliant raiding kept them within three points till late in the game. In the end, though, Dabang Delhi KC held on by running down the clock to take the win.

महाराष्ट्र ही संतांची भूमी असे आपण अभिमानाने म्हणतो आणि या आपल्या महान संतांनी त्यांचे विचार, त्यांची संत वाणी ही विविध अभंगातून आपल्याला सांगितली. पण सामान्य माणसाला त्यातला मतितार्थ समजणे तसे कठीणच आणि तिथेच तयार झाले आपले कीर्तनकार.

कीर्तनाच्या माध्यमातून महाराष्ट्राला मिळालेला वारसा, अविरतपणे पुढे नेण्याचा प्रयत्न ‘सन मराठी’ वाहिनीने केला असून ‘ह.भ.प. भगवतीताई सातारकर’, ‘ह.भ.प. चिन्मयदादा सातारकर’, ‘ह.भ.प.कांचनताई जगताप’, ‘ह.भ.प. शिवलीलाताई पाटील’, ‘ह.भ.प. सोहम महाराज काकडे’ यांचे उल्लेखनीय योगदान लाभले आहे.

आपले कीर्तनकार म्हणजे संतांचे फॅन फॉलॉवर्सच म्हणा ना. अगदी ज्ञानोबा तुकाराम माऊलींपासून निळोबांपर्यंत संतांनी केलेले अभंग समजून घेऊन, स्वतः आचरणात आणून ते महान विचार आणि त्यामागील अर्थ लोकांनां समजावणे म्हणजे कीर्तन. कीर्तनातून समाज सुधारण्याचे मोलाचे काम घडते. काही कीर्तनकार मूळ अभंगात सध्याच्या काळानुसार थोडे फार बदल घडवून सामान्य लोकांना समजेल अशा भाषेत त्यामागील विचार लोकांना सांगतात. ऐकणारा श्रोता ऐकता ऐकता गुंग होईल आणि संतांचे महान विचार हे आपल्या रोजच्या जीवनात आचरणात आणतील याची खात्री कीर्तनकार घेत असतात.

Filmmaker Mukesh Modi Expresses Discontent with Censor Board for "Political War," Appeals to PM Modi

The filmmaker of the upcoming Bollywood movie "Political War," Mukesh Modi, is quite upset with the Censor Board. Due to the refusal of a censor certificate, the film is unable to release in cinemas. Mukesh Modi has been in India for the past three months to get the film censored, but it was ultimately rejected by the revising committee on December 22, 2023.

According to Mukesh Modi, the initial title of the film was "2024 Election War," but it was objected to, and later, they changed it to "Political War." However, even after submitting the film to the revising committee without a show-cause notice, it was rejected. The reason given was that the faces of the film's actors resembled Indian politicians. Mukesh Modi expressed his frustration, stating that due to the lack of a censor certificate, his film won't be able to be released in theaters.

He appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that there is no time for filmmakers like him, and the response from the Censor Board officials is unsatisfactory. He urged the Prime Minister to appoint competent people in the Censor Board and improve the system, as it wastes a lot of time and money for filmmakers.

Mukesh Modi emphasized that his film aims to inspire the youth, and the government should pay attention to it. He highlighted the inconsistency in the Censor Board's decisions, approving violent films while hindering the release of a film with a positive message.

The filmmaker also expressed concern about the damage caused to his film due to the censorship process. Despite the challenges, he affirmed that the content of the film is excellent and conveys a message about corrupt politicians attempting to destabilize India.

Mukesh Modi concluded by stating that the film will be released in overseas theaters on February 16 and after that it will be released on OTT platforms . He suggested that the Censor Board should be abolished, citing the absence of such a board in Hollywood. The film, produced under the banner of Indie Films World, was shot in Mumbai, Varanasi, Lucknow, and the United States.

चित्रपटाच्या कथेतून ग्रामीण भागात शाळा व्यवस्थापनाकडून होणाऱ्या भ्रष्टाचाराचा उलगडा केला आहे. शिवा, प्रकाश आणि प्रिया एका खेड्यात राहत असून अत्यंत हालाखीच्या परिस्थितीतून शिक्षण घेत आहेत. एकीकडे शाळेतील इतर मुले कॉपी करून परीक्षा देत आहेत तर दुसरीकडे कित्येक मैल चालत येऊन हे गरीब त्रिकुट प्रामाणिकपणे परीक्षा देत आहे. पण त्याचवेळी शिक्षण अधिकारी कॉपीचे दृश्य बघून शाळा बंद करण्याचे आदेश देतो. चित्रपटाच्या या वळणावर मूळ कथानक सुरू होऊन पुढे काय घडते हे चित्रपटात पहायला मिळणार आहे.
