Jeddah/Riyadh 12th July 2025: The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), the apex body of the gem and jewellery trade in India, with the support of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India; the Embassy of India in Riyadh; the Consulate General of India in Jeddah; and the Dubai Jewellery Group, successfully launched SAJEX – The Saudi Arabia Jewellery Exposition through two curtain-raiser events in Jeddah on 6th July and Riyadh on 8th July 2025. The twin events witnessed an overwhelming response from over 280 key Saudi stakeholders — including top retailers, wholesalers, and manufacturers.

As part of its ongoing efforts to diversify export markets and explore untapped opportunities, GJEPC is unlocking the growing potential of Saudi Arabia — the Gulf’s largest economy, with a GDP of USD 1.1 trillion. With its jewellery market projected to nearly double from USD 4.56 billion in 2024 to USD 8.34 billion by 2030, Saudi Arabia is fast emerging as a key destination for contemporary and luxury jewellery. A young, urban population and a dynamic retail environment are driving demand for 18K and 21K plain gold, diamond-studded jewellery, and premium design-led products. Against this backdrop, SAJEX becomes an important strategic step to strengthen India-Saudi Arabia ties and expand India’s jewellery footprint in the Middle East and beyond.

SAJEX 2025 will take place from 11th to 13th September 2025 at the iconic Jeddah Superdome.

SAJEX, positioned as “The World Gem and Jewellery Fair,” marks the beginning of a long-term partnership between India and Saudi Arabia in the jewellery sector. India, as the global hub for jewellery manufacturing, will proudly showcase its exceptional craftsmanship, cutting-edge design, and manufacturing expertise at this platform which will feature over 200 leading exhibitors across 250+ booths from India, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Turkey, Hong Kong, and Lebanon. The event will witness over 2,000 international buyers, and the product showcase will span diamond and coloured gemstone-studded jewellery, 18kt, 21kt, and 22kt plain gold jewellery, platinum jewellery, lab-grown diamond jewellery, in both pret and bridal, gifting collections, along with cutting-edge jewellery technology.

What makes SAJEX truly unique is its long-term vision — to foster enduring partnerships between international manufacturers and Saudi retailers through a focused B2B platform tailored to the Kingdom’s evolving market. At the heart of this effort is the World Jewellery Investment Forum, co-hosted by GJEPC and the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia. This high-level forum will bring together government leaders, global brands, investors, and industry experts to explore strategic opportunities across the jewellery value chain — positioning Saudi Arabia as a future hub for jewellery design, innovation, and investment.

SAJEX curtain raiser at Jeddah was graced by Mr. Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri, Consul General of India in Jeddah; Eng. Raed Ibrahim Almudaiheem, First Vice Chairman, Jeddah Chamber of Commerce; and Mr. Sheikh Ali Batarfi Al Kindi, President, Jeddah Jewellery Association, along with the GJEPC leadership team.

The Riyadh event witnessed the presence of His Excellency Dr. Suhel Ajaz Khan, Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; His Excellency Mr. Ajlan Saad Alajlan, Second Vice Chairman, Riyadh Chamber; Mr. Faleh G. खुल्या राज्यस्तरीय एकांकिका स्पर्धा  "नाट्य परिषद करंडक"

रंगभूमीची मध्यवर्ती संघटना असलेली अखिल भारतीय मराठी नाट्य परिषद, मध्यवर्ती मुंबई आयोजित, शतकमहोत्सवी अखिल भारतीय मराठी नाट्य संमेलनानिमित्त सुरू झालेला 'नाट्यकलेचा जागर' दरवर्षी महाराष्ट्रभर विविध कार्यक्रमांनी साजरा केला जाणार आहे. यंदा पुन्हा राज्यस्तरीय खुल्या एकांकिका स्पर्धा महोत्सव म्हणजेच 'नाट्य परिषद करंडक' आयोजित करण्यात आला आहे असे परिषदेचे अध्यक्ष प्रशांत दामले यांनी सांगितले.

महाराष्ट्रातील सर्व जिल्ह्यातील कलावंत, नाट्यकर्मींसाठी हा स्पर्धात्मक महोत्सव राज्यस्तरावर आयोजित केला असून या स्पर्धांमध्ये महाराष्ट्रातील सर्व कलावंतांनी भाग घ्यावा असे आवाहन उपाध्यक्ष (उपक्रम) श्री. भाऊसाहेब भोईर यांनी केले आहे.

मागील वर्षी 'नाट्यकलेचा जागर' हा स्पर्धात्मक महोत्सव महाराष्ट्रातील विविध केंद्रांवर यशस्वीरित्या सादर झाला. यात एकांकिका स्पर्धा, बालनाट्य स्पर्धा, एकपात्री स्पर्धा, नाट्यवाचन स्पर्धा, नाट्यछटा स्पर्धा, नाट्यसंगीत पद गायन स्पर्धा यांचा समावेश होता. 

यावर्षी पासून दरवर्षी 'नाट्य परिषद करंडक' ह्या राज्यस्तरीय एकांकिका स्पर्धा महोत्सवाचे आयोजन करण्यात येणार असल्याचे नाट्य परिषदेच्या नियामक मंडळ व कार्यकारी समितीने ठरविले आहे.

ही स्पर्धा प्राथमिक व अंतिम फेरी अश्या दोन फेऱ्यांमध्ये होणार आहे. शनिवार दिनांक २३ ऑगस्ट २०२५ व रविवार, दिनांक २४ ऑगस्ट २०२५ पासून विविध केंद्रांवर प्राथमिक फेरी सुरू होऊन यातील निवडक २५ कलाकृतींची अंतिम फेरी मुंबई येथे दिनांक १५, १६, १७ व १८ सप्टेंबर २०२५ रोजी यशवंतराव चव्हाण नाट्यसंकुल, मनमाला टॅक रोड, माटुंगा - माहीम, मुंबई येथे होणार आहे. अंतिम फेरीत निवड झालेल्या कलावंतांसाठी नाट्य कार्यशाळेचे आयोजन करण्यात येणार आहे. हे शिबिर नाट्यक्षेत्रातील दिग्गज दिग्दर्शक, अभिनेते, अभिनेत्री घेणार असून अंतिम फेरीतील सादरीकरणाचा दर्जा यामुळे सर्वोत्तम असणार आहे.

महाराष्ट्रातील सर्व जिल्ह्यांच्या ठिकाणी एकांकिका स्पर्धा घेण्याचा नाट्य परिषदेचा मानस आहे. ज्या जिल्ह्यातून किमान १० प्रवेशिका येतील त्याठिकाणी स्पर्धेचे केंद्र देण्यात येणार आहे. महाराष्ट्रातील सर्व गुणवंत कलाकारांना नाट्यसंमेलनात आपली कला सादर करण्याची संधी या मधून मिळणार आहे.

१०. पात्र पररचय स्पर्ेपूवी स्पर्ााप्रमिु ाकडेखवखहत अिाात दर्े ेआवश्यक आह.े ११. प्राथखमक फेरीसाठी एकांखककेचा सादरीकरर्ाचा कालावर्ी कमीत कमी ३० खमखनटेव िास्तीत िास्त ४५ खमखनटेअसेल. प्राथखमक फेरी ही पर्ूापर्ेतालीम स्वरूपाची असेल. १२. अंखतम फेरीसाठी वरील कालावर्ीनसुार सादरीकरर्, नेपथ्य, प्रकाशयोिना मांडर्ी आखर् रंगमंच मोकळा करर्ेह्या संपर्ूागोष्टींसाठी १ तासाचा कालावर्ी प्रत्येक एकांखककेला खदला िाईल. वेळेचे बंर्न काटेकोरपर्ेपाळर्ेहेप्रत्येक संघाचेकताव्य असर्ार आह.े वेळेचे बंर्ननपाळल्यास त्याचा पररर्ाम सादरीकरर्ाच्या गुर्ांवरहोईल. १३. एकांखकका सादर करण्यासाठी िी वेळ खदली असेल, त्याच वेळेवर एकांखकका सादर केली पाखहिे. त्यात बदल के ला िार्ार नाही. १४. पात्रता खनकष - प्राथखमक फेरीतनू प्रत्येक केंद्ातनू सार्ारर् नऊ एकांखकका पर्ूा झाल्यास एक, अठरा एकांखकका पर्ूाझाल्यास दोन, सत्तावीस एकांखकका पर्ूाझाल्यास तीन ह्या प्रमार्ात अंखतम फेरीसाठीएकांखकका खनवडण्यात येतील. िर प्राथखमक फेरीत एकांखककेची संख्या वाढली वा कमी झाली तर ह्याबाबत स्पर्ाा सखमती िो खनर्ाय घेईल तो खनर्ाय अंखतम व सवाांना बंर्नकारक असेल. १५. अंखतम फेरीसाठी १६ लाईट स्पॉटमध्येच प्रकाशयोिना करावी लागेल. नाट्य पररषदच्ेयातफे १६ स्पॉट लाईट व १८ डीमसाचा बोडाखवनामल्ूय खदला िाईल. तसेच ६ लेव्हल ४ X ६ = ६ (दीड फूटी), ४ X ६ = ६ (९ इचं ) व १ टेबल आखर् २ िच्ुयााखवनामल्ूय उपलब्र् करून देण्यात येईल. इतर खवखशष्ट प्रकारचेनेपथ्य त्याची व्यवस्था संबंखर्त स्पर्ाकांना स्वतः करावी लागेल. ििु बी रंगभूषा पररषद उपलब्र् करून दईेल. परंतुखवखशष्ट रंगभषूा व्यवस्था संस्थेने स्वतः करावयाची आहे.

१६. प्राथखमक फेरीतनू अंखतम फेरीसाठी खनवड झालेल्या एकांखककांना प्रवास िचा म्हर्नू रु. ७०००/- अंखतम फेरीतील सादरीकरर्ानंतर खदलेिातील.एकांखककेतील कलावंत व तंत्रज्ञ यांना प्रयोगाच्या खदवशी एक वेळचे भोिन खदले िाईल. आवश्यक असल्यास प्रयोगाच्या खदवशीची खनवास व्यवस्था के ली िाईल. नाट्य पररषदनेेह्याबाबतीत घेतलेला खनर्ाय अंखतम व बंर्नकारक असेल. १७. प्राथखमक फेरीतनू अंखतम फेरीसाठी िास्तीत िास्त २५ एकांखककांची खनवड करण्यात येईल. अंखतम फेरी खदनांक १५,१६,१७ आखर् १८ सप्टेंबर २०२५ रोिी यशवंतराव चव्हार् नाट्य संकुल, मनमाला टँक रोड, माटुंगा, मंबुई ४०००१६. येथेसंपन्नहोईल. १८. खनयम व अटी तसेच स्पर्ेच्या तारिांमध्येफेरबदल करावयाचेअखर्कार स्पर्ाा सखमती, अखिल भारतीय मराठी नाट्य पररषद रािून ठेवत आह.े १९. खनयम व अटींचेपालन सहभागी संस्था, कलावंत व तंत्रज्ञांना करावेलागेल. तसेन करर्ा-या संस्थेला स्पर्ेतनू वगळलेिाऊ शकतेह्याची िार्ीव प्रत्येक संघानेठेवर्ेआवश्यक आह.े २०. परीक्षकांचा खनर्ाय अंखतम राखहल आखर् तो सवास्पर्ाकांना बंर्नकारक असेल. २१. ह्या स्पर्ेत सादर होर्ाऱ्या एकांखककांचेसंपर्ूाअथवा अंशतः खचत्रीकरर् करण्याचा आखर् ते प्रसाररत करण्याचा अखर्कारनाट्य पररषदनेेरािून ठेवलेला आह.े २२. प्रवेश अिा प्रवेश शल्ुकसह भरून पाठखवण्याची अंखतम तारीि १० ऑगस्ट २०२५ सायं ७.०० वािेपयांत असेल. यानंतर आलेल्या प्रवेखशका स्वीकारल्या िार्ार नाहीत. स्पर्ेच्या अखर्क माखहतीसाठी ८५९१७०६८८७ या क्रमांकावर संपका सार्ावा. २३. प्रवेश शल्ु क रुपये १०००/- अिा नोंदर्ीसाठी येथे खक्लक करावे.

सांस्कृतिक मंत्री अ‍ॅड.  आशिष शेलार यांना 'नाफा' मराठी चित्रपट महोत्सवाचे विशेष निमंत्रण!

सॅनहोजे (प्रतिनिधी) : मराठी चित्रपटांना हॉलिवूडच्या झगमगाटात सन्मानाने सादर करणाऱ्या ‘नॉर्थ अमेरिकन फिल्म असोसिएशन’ (नाफा) तर्फे आयोजित दुसऱ्या भव्य मराठी चित्रपट महोत्सवाला सॅनहोजे, कॅलिफोर्निया येथे २५ ते २७ जुलै २०२५ या कालावधीत रंगतदार सुरुवात होणार आहे. कॅलिफोर्निया थिएटर या प्रतिष्ठित स्थळी हा सोहळा आयोजित केला जाणार असून, यंदाचा महोत्सव अधिक भव्य आणि लक्षवेधी ठरणार आहे. 'देऊळ' आणि 'भारतीय' या चित्रपटांचे निर्माते, सुवर्ण-कमळ राष्ट्रीय पुरस्काराने सन्मानित अभिजीत घोलप यांच्या संकल्पनेतून या महोत्सवाची सुरुवात गेल्यावर्षी करण्यात आली आहे. यावर्षी या महोत्सवासाठी महाराष्ट्र शासनाच्या सांस्कृतिक विभागाचे मंत्री अ‍ॅड. आशिष शेलार यांना रीतसर निमंत्रण देण्यात आले आहे.. तसेच 'सॅनहोजे' कॅलिफोर्निया स्टेटचे महापौर यांनाही या महोत्सवाचे निमंत्रण देण्यात आले असून दोन्ही अतिथींनी संस्थेस त्यांचा तात्काळ होकार कळविला आहे. सॅनहोजेचे महापौर आणि महाराष्ट्र शासनाचे सांस्कृतिक मंत्री यानिमित्ताने पहिल्यांदाच एका मंचावर एकत्र येत आल्याचे नाफा संस्थापक अभिजित घोलप यांनी जाहीर केले आहे. 

नाफाचे संस्थापक अध्यक्ष अभिजित घोलप यांनी नुकतीच महाराष्ट्रात येऊन सांस्कृतिक मंत्री अ‍ॅड. आशिष शेलार यांची भेट घेऊन त्यांना या सोहळ्याचे रितसर निमंत्रण दिले आहे. शेलार यांनी त्यांना या सोहळ्यास उपस्थित राहण्याबाबत तात्कळ होकार दिला आहे. विशेष म्हणजे अमेरिकाच्या सॅनहोजे, कॅलिफोर्निया राज्याचे महापौर मा. मॅट महन यांनीही या महोत्सवास उपस्थित राहण्याचे मान्य केल्याने हा एक दुग्धशर्करा योग चालून आला असून यानिमित्ताने या दोन महनीय अतिथींच्या उपस्थितीने यंदाची अवार्ड नाईट आणि महोत्सव विशेष ठरणार असल्याची भावना अभिजित घोलप आणि त्यांच्या सहकाऱ्यांनी व्यक्त केली आहे.
