As part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in India’initiative, in October, 2016 Vadodara, Gujarat, India will be hosting an international exhibition SWITCH andsummit with the theme of Electrical Engineering, Power Generation and Innovation.

SWITCH 2016, to be held from 6^th to 10^th October 2016,is promoted by the Department of Energy & Petrochemicals, Government Gujarat with Federation of Gujarat Industries as the organizing and implementation Partner.  

The Switch Global Expo aims to be a biennial platform for suppliers, buyers and innovators. The exhibition will involve showcasing manufacturing capabilities by national and international players and will be a chance for engineers, scientists, academics and manufacturers to showcase their products and innovations for the power sector.

Poised to be India’s Manufacturing Hub for Electrical Engineering, Vadodara and Gujarat has made great strides in the field of engineering and power. Thanks to this and many other factors, Gujarat ranks as one of fastest developing states in the country Under the Leadership of its Honorable Chief Minister Smt. Anandiben Patel, Vadodara is home to most of the leading power equipment manufacturers of India.

SWITCH – 2016, will bring together mavericks and proven stalwarts of this field together. From providing a platform to start-ups to organizing a conducive exchange of technologies and networking with potential buyers and sellers, both national as well as international, Switch – 2016 has it all. The exhibition will see more than 1,00,000 visitors from around the world along with a pavilion dedicated to resale and refurbishing options.

Switch – 2016 will be Inviting more than 8,000 highly qualified and strategic buyers. With more than 2,500 key buyers across countries, 200 buyers from Europe, 75 buyers from 20 utilities in the Middle East will be among many others from around the country as its guest.

Switch -2016 has received participation from more than 1000 Domestic Manufacturers and about 200 International Manufactures who are displaying their companies and participating in the exhibition

Switch -2016 has booked charted Flights and Trains from Mumbai and Delhi enabling Travel of more than 10,000 people daily along with 27,500 room nights in 100 kms periphery of Vadodara, Local Travel to Exhibitors will be arranged by the organ sing committee by deploying Switch Express buses across the city.

World Electrical Buyers Summit (WEBS)a congregation of World’s Leading buyers of Electrical goods being organized on the sidelines of SWTICH has received participation confirmation from Power Minister of over 15 countries of the world,30 Power Ministers from India, PowerSecretaries of States of India and Delegations from 95 foreign Utilities and 102 Indian Utilities, along with about 1150 large corporates of India have agreed to Participate.

SWITCH – 2016 is designed to be definitive electrics marketplace and will provide the widest range of switchgears, cables, conductors and fiber optic wires, transmission line technologies, control and automation, transformers, among many other products. This exhibition will also have specific pavilions for students and institutes as well as safety.

The exhibition Which will be Held at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Expo Centere , Vadodara will be spread across 80,000 sq meters making it one of the largest Expo on Electrical and Innovation in India.

The expo will have an INNOVATION & TECHNOLOGY SUMMIT a first of kind in the country Wherein Innovators will be given stalls to display their work & About 15 leading Innovators and Celebrities will speak Along with that an Incubators forum will be available to exchange information with Investors, Bankers and HNI for giving an interaction platform to encourage Venture capital funding into the start-ups of industry. The Technology Summit will have wide-ranging discussions on Manufacturing Technology, Asset Management, Renewable Energy and Other Technical Subject leading corporates GE, Siemens, ABB and Suzlon are the Technical Partners in the Summit.

DURING 1^ST OCTOBER 2016 TO 10^TH OCTOBER 2016 Gujarat & Specifically Vadodara hosts the Traditional Navratri Garba Festival wherein about 40,000 people dance for 9 nights at one location and there are small small groups of people who perform Garba across the city, the visitors to Switch will also be able to enjoy the festival at Vadodara.

Harshvardhan Joshi, Ritika Gulati and Sufi Gulati went to promote their debut film Love Ke Funday along with Dr. Yogesh Kumar and producer Sushikailash who also went to promote their film Dil Sala Sanki at Water Kingdom, Mumbai. DJ Akhtar played some great tracks to entertain the crowd. Yogesh Kumar performance was appreciated by the crowd. Harshvardhan, Ritika and Sufi distributed cds of their film.

Award winning Anchor & Actress Kubra Sait plays the role of an Anchor in the film ‘Sultan’

Known for being one of the top anchors in the entertainment & event business today, celebrated & esteemed anchor and actress Kubra Sait has carved a niche for herself in the entertainment industry. Having over five years of experience in the field of entertainment, she gears up for the release of Salman Khan & Anushka Sharma starer "Sultan" where she translates her real life skills of an Anchor on to the big screen.
Winner of some of the most prestigious awards, she won India’s Best Female Emcee Award for live entertainers. When asked about her role, Kubra Sait who recently hosted the event ‘Maxim The 2016 Hot 100’ said, “I’m playing a host in the film. I’m thrilled to be doing a film like ‘Sultan’ which has Salman Khan as the lead and I’m glad that I’ve got to play a character that is so close to what I am in real life. I am a host & anchor by profession and my fans would get to see an extension of that side of me in the film.”
Touted to be among the top anchors in Asia, she has been known to host a number of prestigious award functions.

On being asked about her journey so far, Kubra Sait an adrenaline junkie says, “My journey from a finance graduate to an anchor and finally an actress has been quite exciting. 

She is regarded as one of the most prolific speakers in B-town and has performed at many events enthralling audiences across more than 30 countries has previously had an acting stint in films like Ready (2011), Jodi Breakers (2012), I Love New Year (2015) and also appeared in a number of television commercials besides being a TV anchor seen as a host in TV shows TLC Note from Rajasthan, Star Ka Tadka, Wow Awards 2016 and Star Sports ProKabbadi to name a few.

Actress Kavitta Verma teams up with Vivaan & Akshara in T.P. Aggarwal’s next

Actress Kavitta Verma will soon be seen with Vivaan Shah and Akshara Haasan in T.P. Aggarwal’s upcoming flick Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laaddoo Deewana which also stars Gurmeet Chaudhary.

The film has a very refreshing and interesting concept and actress Kavitta Verma justifies the director’s vision in the film. She is really talented and a beautiful actress and will be seen rubbing shoulders with Vivaan Shah and Akshara Haasan in a power-packed performance in her forthcoming flick which has been written & directed by Manish Harishankar Shrivastav.

Kavitta Verma who enjoyed dubbing for the film recently says, “I am really glad that we’ve finally finished with this film. The experience during shooting was truly enriching and I’m upbeat about the film which is expected to release soon.” On being asked about what she intends doing ahead, she says, “I’m looking forward to doing a lot of performance oriented roles which justify me as an actor.”

The film is an out & out entertainer revolving around a royal marriage as the title of the film suggests and has been exclusively shot in the pristine locations of Vadodara palace and exotic locales of Kashmir. The film has been completed and is currently in post-production stages awaiting a suitable date for release.

Dialogue of the film is written by Anwer Khan, cinematography done by Rajiv Srivastav, Lyrics by Anwer Khan,Jairaj Selvan & Vishal B Patil, Music by Avishek Majumdar, action by Mahendra Verma, Dance by Rajiv Surti and edited by Devendra Murdeshwar. Dharmendra launched the trailer of debut actor Dr. Yogesh Kumar Hindi film

Producer Sushikailash and Israr Ahmed invited Dharmendra to launch the trailer of their film Dil Sala Sanki at a event in Mumbai.Jimmy Shergill,Shakti Kapoor,Avtar Gill and Madalsa Sharma came specially to be part of their film event.Yogesh Kumar who is debuting as hero in this film danced on title track with Madalsa Sharma.The film is releasing on5th August all over.The film is made under the banner S K Pictures Pvt Ltd. Zee Music has taken the audio rights of the film.

Actor & Singer "Liza Malik" will soon be seen playing a quirky tech-savvy character in the comedy show "Life Ka Recharge" which will be aired on "&TV".

The singer & performer who earned her name with her lovely voice in the chart buster “I'm The Only Sexy Lady” & exhibited her acting skills in telly showsIshq Unplugged & Comedy Classes is back on the small screen in a completely new avatar. Yes, you heard it right! Actor & Singer Liza Malik, who has already made a significant mark in the Indian Music, Fashion & Bollywood industry, gears up to play ‘Cellular Bai’-a Maharashtrian tech-savvy & modern woman on the comedy show Life Ka Recharge on &TV.

With a huge amount of creative work on her palate, Liza Malik desires to capture the essence of the craft and wishes to take her career graph a notch higher with every show that she does. Constantly pushing herself to do better and to ensure the success of her shows, the singer and actress leaves no stone unturned to make the shows a grand success.

Liza Malik ecstatic about trying different roles and setting a new benchmark with every role she plays, gears up to turn the tables over in her next telly show- " Life Ka Recharge "- a comedy show on &TV

Talking about her character in the show, Liza says, “I’m playing the role of a tech-savvy typical Maharashtrian woman named ‘cellular bai’- a high tech bai who’s fashionable & up to date with social media. There are four main characters in the show- Vikalp, Mintoo, a chacha & cellular bai that I’m playing and all the three male characters are swept head over heels in love with cellular bai.” Liza Malik’s episode will be aired this coming Thursday onwards.

On being asked more about the show she states that it is based on social media and all the jokes and gags cracked on the show revolve in & around social media. Life Ka Recharge is loosely based on the lines of Comedy Nights,Comedy Circus but the difference being that there are no celebrities in the show. Instead, live videos and photos which go viral on digital media are showcased here. The audience and fans can also send the funny videos which would be shown during the show.

The shooting for the show takes place every month for ten days at Zee Studios in Jaipur. Says Liza Malik, “It has been difficult and equally interesting at the same time for me to shoot the whole schedule because I am nowhere related to Maharashtra and I don’t speak the language. Since my character is that of a Maharashtrian bai, so the dialect that I’ve picked up was a little difficult learning but I had fun playing it.”
