Actress Ameesha Patel who we have adored right from the Kaho Na Pyaar Hai days has been away from the limelight for some time now. And incase you wonder what the actress has been upto, well, she has been very busy juggling between work. With an impressive lineup of upcoming projects, Ameesha has been shooting back to back. And recently,  she graced the grand opening of a restaurant in Vadodara - The Mexican Tapas Bar. Ameesha cut the ribbon launching the place and she indeed looked like a vision.

Talking about attending an event after so long, Ameesha says, "I feel so happy that things are back to the way they were before the pandemic. During the last two years, I have dearly missed not just being on set, but also attending events. So it felt really great being back to what we love. Especially now that I have been busy shooting, attending events becomes like a pleasant break."

On the workfront, Ameesha was last seen in Bhaiaji Superhit and now she has, Desi Magic, Tauba Tera Jalwa, The Great Indian Casino, and Gadar 2: The Katha Continues, coming up.

Madhavi Goenka of Helping Hands will showcase a special collection of her Batwas. Helping Hands Foundation works towards raising funds for Pediatric Oncology. Their projects include free accommodation for families who come to Mumbai for treatment, especially those below the poverty line. They fundraise towards accommodation, emergency treatment, education and rehabilitation post treatment via prosthesis. Their product sales help towards the accommodation Project.
Madhavi Goenka, Managing Trustee Helping Hands Foundation says "The summer months are extremely hot and the families who stay on the pavements during treatment are in need of shelter as they are undergoing treatment for cancer .  सोनी मराठी वाहिनीवरचा 'महाराष्ट्राची हास्यजत्रा' हा विनोदी कार्यक्रम प्रचंड लोकप्रिय आहे.  या कार्यक्रमाने महाराष्ट्रातल्याच नव्हे तर जगभरातल्या प्रेक्षकांची मनं जिंकली आहेत. या कार्यक्रमाचे अनेक चाहते आहेत आणि यांमध्ये अनेक दिग्गज नामवंतांचाही समावेश आहे. नुकतेच या कार्यक्रमाचे 500 भाग पूर्ण झाले. 'महाराष्ट्राची हास्यजत्रा' हा कार्यक्रम प्रेक्षकांसाठी लाफ्टर थेरपीच बनला आहे. आता हा कार्यक्रम हास्याची पंचमी साजरी करणार आहे. कारण महाराष्ट्राचा लाडका कार्यक्रम 'महाराष्ट्राची हास्यजत्रा' सोमवार, 25 एप्रिलपासून  सोम. ते शुक्र. रात्री 9 वाजता पाच दिवस  पाहता येणार आहे.

 'महाराष्ट्राची हास्यजत्रा' या कार्यक्रमाच्या पहिल्या भागापासून हास्यजत्रेला प्रेक्षकांचं प्रेम मिळू लागलं. समीर, प्रसाद, नम्रता, गौरव, वनिता आणि हास्यजत्रेतल्या इतर हास्यवीरांनी प्रेक्षकांना आपल्या विनोदांनी आणि प्रहसनांनी नवी उमेद दिली आहे. लॉकडाऊनच्या कठीण काळातही हा कार्यक्रम रसिकांचे मनोरंजन करत होता. आणि आता आठवड्यातले पाच दिवस हा कार्यक्रम प्रेक्षकांचं मनोरंजन करण्यासाठी सज्ज झाला आहे. उन्हाळ्याची सुट्टीही  सुरू झाल्याने आता  या धमाल विनोदी कार्यक्रमाचा आस्वाद सहकुटुंब घेता येणार आहे. टेन्शनवरची उत्तम मात्रा असणाऱ्या या कार्यक्रमात हास्याचे अनेक फवारे उडणार आहेत. सध्या प्रत्येक भागात मोठमोठे कलाकार हास्यजत्रेच्या मंचावर  उपस्थित राहून कार्यक्रमाची शोभा वाढवताहेत.

अल्पावधीत केवळ महाराष्ट्रातच नव्हे तर जगभरात लोकप्रियतेचा उच्चांक गाठलेला 'महाराष्ट्राची हास्यजत्रा' हा सगळ्यांचा आवडता कार्यक्रम आठवड्यातून पाच दिवस रसिकांच्या भेटीस येणार आहे. या कार्यक्रमातले कलाकारही आठवड्यातून पाच दिवस प्रेक्षकांना भेटण्यासाठी उत्सुक आहेत. हास्याची ही पंचमी पाहा 25 एप्रिल, सोमवारपासून सोम. ते शुक्र. रात्री 9 वाजता फक्त सोनी मराठी वाहिनीवर.

Celebrating Dr Ambedkar's celebration in great style with a 131 KG Cake

On the occasion of 131st Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, architect of the Indian Constitution, a pre-birth anniversary celebration of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar was organized on 13th of April 2022 at Jamboree Maidan in Worli, South Mumbai at 6 pm by the Bhim Utsav Samanvay Samiti in association with JAI BHEEM Short Video App.

The event titled as Jallosh Jayanticha (Birth Anniversary Celebrations) was one of the biggest events to be held at the historic Jamboree Maidan with an audience of over 10,000 people and had well-known celebrities taking the stage amongst the most notable being Shahir Sambhaji Bhagat, Shahir Smitatai Patil, Music Director Jollydada More, Singer Pravin Done, Comedian Sunil Pal, Sakshi Holkar and Nitin Raikwar.

Amongst the ensemble performances were local performers from Worli to begin the event, then it was Lokshahi Sambhaji Bhagat who set the tone with his great vocals. Other performances were vocals by Hemant Dhone, the Lavni dance on 

Dr Ambedkar's songs by Megha Ghadge even made the audience dance along 

with her.

 

Sunil Pal kept the audience amused with his stand up comedy, Nitin Raikvar and his team performed the theme song of Jai Bheem. Every performance elicited a standing ovation, and almost each of them felt that it was the need of the hour to have our own platform and the JAI BHEEM App is instrumental in doing numerous mega events, while this one turned out to be a mammoth event as it was well articulated by the Jai Bheem app team and personally headed and monitored by Girish Wankhede, the CEO of JAI BHEEM Short Video App.  

             A notable aspect is that all the performers readily agreed to perform at this event because of their love for Girish Wankhede and respect for the JAI BHEEM App.

As it is the 131st Birth anniversary of Dr Ambedkar, therefore JAI BHEEM App celebrated this joyous moment with a cake weighing 131 Kilograms that was cut by Hon'ble IAS officer Harshdeep Kamble and CEO of Jai Bheem App Shri Girish Wankhede. This cake cutting ceremony witnessed the fireworks and bursting of crackers that was the highlight of the biggest celebrations in recent times.  
"We are overwhelmed by the response we have received at the Jamboree Maidan in Worli because of its historical significance and to get our event at this prestigious ground with such a large crowd that shows the faith of people in our app. This is the biggest event we have ever witnessed where the people were cheering on the songs, Dr Ambedkar's philosophy, on dance numbers and the atmosphere had an air of positivity all around. The performances, the audience gathering and the celebrations were so gigantic that the whole idea of bringing together almost 22 mandals in the Worli area of South Mumbai who hold Dr Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations every year. JAI BHEEM App has been successful in providing all these mandals a common platform. We have set a precedent of executing one of the most highly watched celebrations that was telecast live on the YouTube handle of JAI BHEEM short video app," revealed Girish Wankhede of JAI BHEEM app.
