“SOUL OF INDIA"- A THEATRICAL DANCE DRAMA
Harshall Kamat, Director and Founder of Mad Dance Company had put together a theatrical dance drama "Soul of India"- A show with colorful costumes, extravagant dance pieces and the exuberance and flair of all things Indian.
11th August, 2016 in Mumbai- The impeccable night saw the renowned Celebrities of Mumbai and amongst those some of the Sachin Pilgaonkar, Shamak Davar, Marzi Pestonji, Hussain Kuwajerwala, Tina Darira, Sharad & Keerti Kelkar, Shweta Kawatra, Manav Gohil, Manoj Muntashir, Dj Sheizwood ,Shweta Khanduri, Ritvik Dhanjani, Riddhi Dogra etc who left the venue teary eyed post the show.
While addressing the media, Harshall Kamat, Director and Founder of Mad Dance Company spoke lengths about the sentiments attached with his first show post the inception of his own dance company. The show didn’t just leave the audience and the guests teary eyed but also engraved the feeling of patriotism towards the nation.

The show was a peek into the past legends of India, and a glimpse into the future of humanity as the audience saw it... in essence, it's was a story about what India was, what mankind stands for, and what the future beholds. What sets the show apart is along with all the entertainment and celebration, there’s an underlying sense of patriotism, reminiscent of the feeling of eternal love, respect and homage one feels for their own country. This feeling was so deeply inculcated in all that it could never be undone.
The climax forced everyone to ponder upon the real meaning of freedom. It made everyone rethink of the questionable situation we, as mankind find ourselves in. It was India’s message to the world, straight from the heart… straight from the Soul!
