DESIGNER ROHIT VERMA, AN ARDENT DEVOTEE OF LORD KRISHNA OFFERED LAMPS IN THIS MONTH OF KARTIK MASA

"It is considered one of the most auspicious month of the year, in which I get an opportunity to discard all evil deeds and adopt a pure way of life" says Designer Rohit Verma offered lamps to Lord Krishna

The evening commenced with lighting of the lamp, followed by aarti. Designer's family & friends including Poonam dhillon , were a part of the auspicious occasion. Jayapataka Swami of GBC ISKCON personally came to lead the deep Dan aarti at Rohit Verma's studio.

The benefit of lighting a diya is 1000 times more during this month. Month of Kartik is celebrated in a very special way. Since padam puran describes the month of kartik as Lord Krishana's favourite month, it has to be my favorite month too. The gift of a lamp during the month of Kartik is the best. No gift is its equal. A person, who for the entire month of Kartik eats only once a day, becomes very famous, powerful and heroic says Designer Rohit Verma who considered this month equivalent to visiting all the pilgrimages.
