SATYA PAUL CONTRIBUTES TO THE RENOVATION OF  

THE HISTORIC ASIATIC SOCIETY OF MUMBAI, AS PART OF ITS CSR INITIATIVES

Satya Paul contributes to the renovation of the iconic Asiatic Society of Mumbai, by integrating it in its CSR program keeping up with values of the brand.

The Asiatic Society Library is one of the Mumbai’s oldest structures with great historical significance. It is home to some of the most rare and precious books, artifacts and manuscripts. This precious collection constantly requires attention and aid for its maintenance and restoration. Satya Paul has joined forces with The Rotary Club of Bombay to be part of an exclusive celebratory event on the February 26th, 2017 to create awareness for this.  Adding a touch of glamour to the evening, the brand presents its archival collection at the event. Satya Paul's iconic prints and weaves came alive as they opened doors to the restored iconic Town Hall.

Satya Paul has been well known for its association with social causes since its inception; be it the collaboration with WWF for conserving endangered species through a special collection paying tribute to them or with the Tata Memorial Hospital’s breast cancer awareness initiative though its ‘Think Pink’ collections over the years. 

Speaking about the collaboration, Sanjay Kapoor, Executive Chairman, Genesis Colors, said, “We are honored to be part of the restoration project of the Asiatic Society Library of Mumbai, an iconic establishment that needs to be preserved. Giving back to society is something we feel very strongly about at Satya Paul, hence collaborations such as this are always close to our heart”.

Based on a love story, Film ‘TALAV’ releases on 10^th March

            Film ‘TALAV’ produced by SMV Films is releasing across entire Maharashtra on the 10^th March. Produced by Navneet Manohar Phondke and Directed by Jaibheem Kamble, film ‘TALAV’ has a major cast of actors Saurabh Gokhale, Sanjay Khapre, Priyanka Raut, Navneet Manohar Phondke, Varsha Pawar, Aishwarya Badade and Rhishikesh Bamburkar.  A new face Priyanka Raut has eminently arrived through this film. Film ‘Talav’ is based on a love story and depicts the hot blasts of jealousy and greed that are faced by a beautiful love. At the core of the film is a love story between a promising youth from a village Siddhu (Saurabh Gokhale) and Kadambari (Priyanka Raut) who is an aspiring author. Cinematography of the film has been handlend by Pramod Srivastava. Importantly many of the actors from the film are new to the celluloid world. Singers Nandesh Umap and Adarsh Shinde bring a unique shine to the songs of the film. Ashish Ambekar has set music to the lyrics penned by Rahul Kale. ‘Moraya re bappa Moraya re’…’Gondhal mandala’ and ‘Tujhya save’ are all especially lilting songs. Anirudh Dave has turned second time lucky! The actor's wife, Shubhi Ahuja, will play his heroine in Dheeraj kumar show Y.A.R.O Ka Tashan .The show is produced by Creative Eye ltd . Anirudh Dave and Shubhi Ahuja had worked together in Bandhan two years ago, but weren't a couple back then.

Interestingly, Anirudh was clueless about his wife bagging a part in the show.“I had no idea that she had gone for the audition and got finalised. Even my creative team kept it a secret. I learnt about it much later, during the mock shoot. She wanted to work with me and I am glad to have got a second chance.“

Ask him if he was instrumental in getting her the role and he replies, “No, every actor gets work on merit and no one can take that credit away . It would be interesting as she will romance my char acter, which is of a machine.“

Will it be difficult for him to restrict his emotions while romancing his real wife? “On the set, she is just another co actor. I am a professional and can't allow my personal life to dictate my work,“ he avers.

Kaamini Khanna dedicated this show to her mother, Late. Smt. Nirmala Devi who was the source of inspiration to her. And she was not only a classical singer, but also a great spiritual soul.

In this show, the guests also witnessed a documentary based on Late. Smt Nirmala Devi, which highlighted the work done by her in the musical world as well as on silver screen.

Kaamini Khanna is a winner of many awards and has been honored from different institutions and great names like Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, Doordarshan and many more for her work in the betterment of society.

The show was in fiction form, started with the story of a sufferer who had lost hopes and ends in marvelous changes with the help of positivity, astrology, dhyan, yoga, exercises, food habits and motivation.
