Macao unfolds glittery journey in celebration of 20th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Macao SAR with Macao Light Festival

26th December 2019: Organized by Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) and co-organized by Municipal Affairs Bureau, Cultural Affairs Bureau and Sports Bureau, “Macao Light Festival 2019 – Explore the Light” is lighting up Macao from 1st to 31st December.

Held for the fifth year, the Macao Light Festival illuminates the city’s northern district for the first time, and brings together four teams from Spain, Portugal, Japan and Shenzhen as well as two local teams to present an array of projection mapping shows, in joyful celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Macao Special Administrative Region.

“Macao Light Festival 2019 – Explore the Light” is staged from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. from 1st to 31st December, presenting an extravaganza of projection mapping shows, light installations, interactive games and more, covering 15 locations across four districts including the newly-featured northern district. On 31st December 2019, the light installations at Nam Van Lake Nautical Centre, Anim’Arte Nam Van and the white canopy at Nam Van will be illuminated until 0:10 midnight on 1st January 2020.

Mapping Shows in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Macao SAR

Two local teams and the teams from Spain, Portugal, Japan and Shenzhen from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area will present a range of projection mapping shows themed after the celebrations of the 20th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Macao SAR in different time periods at two attractions in the World Heritage Site – “The Historic Centre of Macao”, namely the Ruins of St. Paul’s and St. Joseph’s Seminary Church, the latter as a new venue for mapping shows.

Redeem gifts via sharing on Light Festival mobile app or social platforms

The mobile app for Macao Light Festival 2019 (with content available in Traditional/Simplified Chinese and English) offers event information, route navigation as well as features for commenting and gift redemption. The mobile app can be downloaded for free on App Store or Google Play. The public can complete different activities for gift redemption via the mobile app or social media platforms according to instructions. Gifts of Macao Light Festival 2019 can then be redeemed at various information stations for the event.

Press Release-Lopamudra Raut celebrates christmas with Ngo Kids.

Lopamudra Raut surprised us all with her portrayal of a retro superstar in the webseries The Verdict: State vs Nanavati. She wants to celebrate with the kids and she will be spending her Christmas with NGO kids.

Lopamudra has been known to be very close to kids and the differently abled . She has been consistently doing things to reach out to them and she has been very active in the social sphere. We spoke to her to get an insight and here is what she has got to say, " it's just lovely to come to these children and spend some time. They are so abundant and limitless and they are not conditioned. Whatever they do is without bias. I get ti learn a lot and i just love to spend time with them. Its always such an enriching experience and to be very honest i am selfish to come here. The learnings and love that i receive here is unmatched and i wish to give back as much as well. "

She is definitely inspiring all of us and we need to take a leaf out of her life. Cheers to you and you are super amazing.

Tarannum Mallik sang her superhit song Saiyara main saiyara song from Ek tha Tiger and Ring Dila De mainu . Harishchandra Mishra and Ashish Mishra along with Sunita Srivastava ,Director of Management institute and Rita Naik ,Principal of Architecture received all the guest for this event. The Borivali Design Fair is intended to be a celebration of design, culture, talent, creativity and of life itself. Held this year from 17th December at Aditya College campus , Borivali West, it promises to be an exciting mix of learning, discussions, music, live bands, comedy, awards, competitions and togetherness, ensuring that everybody has a good time. It is an event which will have something for everyone. Lots of activity was planned this year at BDF . This year they added Cricket and football tournament .

Fullerton India treated over 68,000 cattle in its 4^th edition of Pashu Vikas Day – country’s largest cattle care programme

Mumbai, 19 December 2019: With a large percentage of the population dependant on livestock for their livelihood, one of India’s leading NBFCs - Fullerton India’s Pashu Vikas Day 2019 helped create on ground cattle awareness and medical support to the rural community. This edition of Pashu Vikas Day witnessed simultaneous cattle camps being held at over 350 locations, covering 500 villages and 14 states where 68,000 cattle were treated that benefitted more than 21,000 owners

Over the four years of Pashu Vikas Day, nearly 2,00,000 cattle and more than 50,000 cattle owners have benefitted from this project.

Highlighting the organisation’s unique initiative, Ms. Rajashree Nambiar, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Fullerton India, said, “As a business we serve the financial needs of the underserved and realise the concerns faced by them. Therefore, a large part of our development programmes focus on livelihood advancement among rural communities - to enhance their quality of life and boost their income streams. Livestock is important for the people living in the hinterland, and Pashu Vikas Day was launched with an aim to achieve sustainable development through better awareness and care.”

Commenting on Pashu Vikas Day, Ms. Shilpa Desai, General Manager, Head – Marketing & Cross Sell, Fullerton India, said, “We launched this programme in 2014, and it continues to receive a heart-warming participation. The Pashu Vikas Day is a single day cattle care camp organised across various pan – India locations, wherein our employees connect with the rural community to make this a success. Fullerton India’s Pashu Vikas Day, a pan-India programme saw participation from local veterinary doctors, who educated the cattle owners on productivity enhancement, better market linkages and other aspects of efficient cattle care, along with free check –up, medicines and vaccinations.

Pashu Vikas Day was launched on November 22, 2014, and subsequently held in 2015 and 2018. Fullerton India was featured in the 2015 Limca Book of Records as the largest single day cattle care camp organised across India, and in 2018 as the World’s Largest Single Day Cattle Care Camp by Best of India Records.

'तुझ्यात जीव रंगला' मालिकेतला राणा दाचा मोठा भाऊ सुरज अर्थात 'सन्नी दा'  म्हणजेच अभिनेता राज हंचनाळे अनेक तरूणींच्या ‘दिल की धडकन’ आहे. ह्या मोस्ट एलिजिबल बॅचलरचे नुकतेच लग्न झाले आहे. राजने त्याची 6 वर्षापासूनची गर्लफ्रेंड मौली देसवालसोबत लग्न केले.

सुत्रांच्या अनुसार, मुळची हरयाणाची असलेली मौली आणि मुळच्या कोल्हापुरच्या राजची भेट फिल्म इंडस्ट्रीत काम करत असल्याने मुंबईत झाली. 2013ला ‘दुष्यंत प्रिया’ नाटकाच्या निमित्ताने राज आणि मौलीची भेट झाली. पुढे मैत्रीचं रूपांतर प्रेमात झालं. सध्या मौली एका प्रॉडक्शन हाऊसमध्ये काम करते. तर राज मराठी मालिकाविश्वात प्रसिध्द आहे.

नुकतंच 6 डिसेंबरला राज आणि मौली रत्नागिरीमध्ये लग्नाच्या बेडीत अडकले. आपल्या ह्या डेस्टिनेशन वेडिंगबद्दल राज सांगतो, “माझी आणि मौलीची इच्छा होती, समुद्राकिनारी लग्न व्हावं. मौलीच्या घरच्यांनाही समुद्रकिनारा पाहायची इच्छा होती. रत्नागिरीचा समुद्रकिनारा खुप सुंदर आहे. म्हणून तिथे लग्न केलं. लग्न कोणत्या ठिकाणी व्हावं हे ठरवण्यापासून ते लग्नासाठी फुलं आणि हार आणण्यापर्यंत सर्व गोष्टी आम्ही स्वत: केल्यात. त्यामुळे लग्नाची तयारीच तीन ते चार महिन्यांची होती.”

लग्न झाल्यावर राज लगेच आपल्या मालिकेच्या चित्रीकरणात गुंतला. हनिमूनला जायलाही त्याला वेळ मिळाला नाही. ह्याविषयी राज म्हणतो. “अगदी दोन दिवसाच्या सुट्टीत मी पटकन लग्न उरकलं. माझ्या मालिकेतल्या कलाकारांनाही बोलवता आलं नाही. आणि चित्रीकरणासाठी अगोदरच डेट दिल्या असल्याने येते तीन महिने तरी सुट्टी घेऊन हनिमूनला जाता येणार नाही. आता मार्चलाच हनिमुनला जाता येईल.”

Schindler Inaugurates ‘Zilla Parishad School' on 10th December 2019

11th December, 2019, Mumbai: Recognizing the transformational potential of education, Schindler India’s CSR program – 'Fulfill Futures', which falls under its Sustainable communities’ Rural projects, inaugurates ‘Zilla Parishad School’ - primary division (1st to 4th standard) which included construction of school and sanitation unit of a Zilla Parishad near Schindler's Factory in Chakan, Pune on 10th December 2019. Mr. Umesh Magar - Director Magarpatta Township Development was the Chief Guest and inaugurated the School with Mr. Shubhankar Chatterji– Chief Supply Chain Officer & Factory Head, Schindler India.

The school comes under the Eainadewasti with a tribal population of around 350 individuals- 185 males and 162 females. There were two class rooms and one sanitation block in this school which needed to be demolished and reconstructed. The current number of students who will be studying in this school is 45 along with 2 teachers.

Based upon the baseline assessment study by the NGO partner, Habitat for Humanity, the class room and sanitation block was very old and in a dilapidated condition. Water, sanitation and hygiene in schools are necessary to have a healthy school environment. Hence, Schindler takes this opportunity to develop appropriate health and hygiene behaviours among the young children and support to fulfil their dreams of primary education in the community. The program is focussed on supporting sustainable initiatives for rural communities to bring about positive developments.

Hence, via our 'Fulfill Futures program, we strive to bridge this gap which reflects our awareness of the responsibility towards the cause.
