Shannon K walked the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival 2023 as she was one of the few privileged Indians to attend the Indiana Jones 5th movie starring legendary Harrison Ford.

The international singer and now an actor dropped jaws and made eyes trail on her as she strode the carpet in a unique ensemble. She wore a beautifully sewn White gown by Ukrainian designers Blanc de Blancs & Lana Marinenko to represent Ukraine suffering from the constant war. The outfit is a symbol of peace.  She wore a Diamond tiara to represent Indian Goddesses as the power of women!

Meanwhile, fans loved her red carpet-appearance and flooded the internet with compliments like “What a debut”, “This is how you represent India”, “Hail the queen”. Shannon was a literal example of 'Modern Day Snow White' at Cannes.

Rego will soon make his big Bollywood debut

Global sensation Rego B,13 year old first and the youngest Indian artist creates an album of global chartbusters. With the blessings of his late grandfather, Disco King Shri Bappi Lahiri, he launched another song in the album titled “PERFECT”. All the songs in the album are the covers of global chartbusters. Rego happens to be the first and the only singer in India who has introduced this unique concept. Shot with a live band, the youngest rock star of India has sworn to take India on global map “No one has ever released an album full of legendary music icons like Justin Bieber, Freddie Mercury, Adele, Stevie Wonder, Charlie Puth, Bruno Mars, Beatles and Bryan Adams all the legends in the international music scenes and many more globally renowned artists songs. Rego who is just thirteen, stormed the Indian music scenes with his single Bachcha Party which crossed 5 million views and made a confident appearance with his grandfather on Salman Khan's Bigg Boss, Sa Re Ga Ma, Dance India Dance with Madhuri Dixit Nene and Indian Idol where he sang Disco Dancer as a tribute to his grandfather, Rego, who started singing at the age of two, credits his grandfather for his interest in Western and classical music.

A student, a national and an international star Rego B who is juggling his studies along with music, confesses that it indeed is difficult, however it’s worth it when music is passion.

 He was born in a family of musicians. When he was 2 years old, he started his training in music from his mother and grandfather.  Rego is studying music from RSL Rock Music of London and taking professional training under the singer and music coach Yvie Burnett who is the coach of Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran and many more and Samantha who is also the coach of celebrated global singers.

An actor by passion, Rego can sing seven languages : Italian, Spanish, English, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu and rap. He also sang Despacito in Spanish on his cover.

Rego also sings Bhajans, Slokas and Ganesh Vandans and Hanuman Chalisa. His Bollywood favorites are Arijit Singh, Badshah and Raftaar.

From the age of 4, he started performing live on stage with his grandfather, Bappi Lahiri. Apart from Bachcha Party, he has also lent his outstanding vocals to “Football is My Dream’ (2018), Kal Chutti Hai’ (2021) and many more.

Taking the musical legacy forward, Rego is the fourth generation of musicians in the Lahiri family, his great grandparents Bansari Lahir the First Lady musician, Bappi Lahiri, Rema and Bappa Lahiri and now Rego.

Despite being academically busy, Rego has taken an oath to make his family and his country proud.

About &TV’s Doosri Maa track, Yashoda shares, “Upon Ashok (Mohit Dagga) return to Gupta's house, he becomes aware of Kamini (Priety Sahay) instructing Yashoda (Neha Joshi) to separate the chullah, raising suspicions within him. Simultaneously, Yashodha stumbles upon the realization that Varun (Micckie Duddaney) has managed to flee from prison and suspects him of abducting Varun (Micckie Duddaney). As Ashok catches sight of his children at the school entrance, a sense of distress takes over him, while the absence of Krishna deeply troubles Yashodha.”

About &TV’s Happu Ki Ultan Paltan track, Daroga Happu Singh shares, “The Commissioner, (Kishore Bhanushali), decides to promote Happu (Yogesh Tripathi) and entrusts him with the responsibility of resolving blackmail cases. However, this choice unsettles Happu’s colleague, Changez, who tries to exploit the situation by manipulating the Commissioner against him. Subsequently, during a social outing with Happu and Beni (Vishwanath Chatterjee), Changez captures inappropriate photographs of them with a girl at a bar to blackmail Happu. Upon discovering these images, Rajesh (Kamna Pathak) becomes furious and abruptly leaves the house.” About &TV’s Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai track, Angoori shares, “Saxena (Saanand Verma) shares the news of his recent employment at an OTT platform, which is currently seeking exemplary neighbours for an upcoming reality series, with Angoori (Shubhangi Atre) and Anita (Vidisha Srivastava). Additionally, Saxena reveals that the show's winners will receive a substantial reward of 2.5 crores. Concerned about their financial situation, Angoori and Anita participate in the show. Upon learning about this opportunity, Vibhuti (Aasif Sheikh), Tiwari (Rohitashv Gour), Teeka (Vaibhav Mathur), Tilu (Salim Zaidi), and Master (Jeetu Gupta) begin displaying excessive friendliness towards each other to impress Saxena and secure a spot on the show. However, suddenly the situation turns when Saxena arrives and cautions them that his senior believes being good neighbours might be outdated.”

For her red-carpet walk for the world premiere of mega director Martin Scrosese and Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio's film 'Killers Of The Flower Moon' she wore a custom-made Falguni Shane Peacock peach pearl drape saree in tulle with a ruffled organza drape and an adjoining trail with delicate hand beaded roses and sparkling crystals.

Marrying delicate tulle with intricately embroidered corsetry, this trailing ensemble interweaved traditional influences with stunning contemporary flair. With sparkling beadwork and three-dimensional flowers and a delicate fan juxtaposed against the bold textures of the garment, this ensemble made Reddy look like a diva straight out of the movies! 

 

She paired the look with embellished delicate hand gloves and fine jewellery by PMJ Jewels and a Hermes deep red handbag. Her dewy make-up and hair do drew inspiration from vintage Hollywood.

Reddy was later spotted at the Madame Figaro event held at the prestigious beach destination, Plage at the hotel Barriere Le Majestic.
