Shubhangi Atre reacts to the AI version of Angoori!

Shubhangi Atre reacts to the AI version of Angoori!

It so happens that Angoori, overwhelmed with tasks, receives an AI robot from Saxena (Saanand Verma). Unaware of its vulnerability to liquids, she unintentionally gives it water, resulting in the malfunctioning robot insulting Vibhuti (Aasif Sheikh) and mistreating Tiwari (Rohitashv Gour), causing chaos and distress. When I learned about the Angoori robot, an AI humanoid character, I humorously questioned if it would be akin to 'Chitti,' played by the legendary Rajnikant in the film ‘Robot’ (laughs). It was quite fun shooting that episode, and it was a refreshing change, adding to an exhilarating experience. I commend the show writers for consistently creating unique tracks that challenge us as actors and allow us to do something different. Despite portraying numerous shades of Angoori’s character over the past seven years, playing an AI robot brought unique excitement. While embodying Angoori would have been simpler, portraying a robotic version posed a challenging task. I had to strike a balance, ensuring I didn't exaggerate movements and appeared as authentic as performing routine household tasks typical of Angoori.

The actress adds, "Through this role, I discovered that playing an AI robot entails more than mimicking cold, robotic movements; it also involves eliciting laughter from the audience. As an artist, I can attest that it was a nuanced choreography of code and emotions. Delving into this humanoid role, I realized that, in a way, we are all constrained by our programming, whether it be the algorithms of our DNA or the societal codes shaping us. I received numerous compliments for my robotic dialect and performance, fueling my motivation to take on unconventional roles. Observing the progress of humanity, I genuinely believe that AI transcends mere technology; it provides a glimpse into our future. As algorithms advance and machines learn, AI is poised to reshape our lives. The recent track in our show exemplifies how artificial intelligence is revolutionising our way of life, work, and interaction, offering a compelling preview into the future."

Kahin hogi dushmani ki nayi shuruvat to kahin aayegi purane rishton mein daraa

Kahin hogi dushmani ki nayi shuruvat to kahin aayegi purane rishton mein Daraa.

In &TV shows Atal, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, and Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, there will be new beginnings of enmity, and some old relationships will go through new challenges. About &TV’s Atal track, Krishan Bihari shares, “Atal (Vyom Thakkar) manages to escape from kidnappers, rushes towards Krishan Bihari (Ashutosh Kulkarni) and narrates the entire incident to him. At the Mohalla, an angry Krishan Bihari publicly reveals the traumatic experience suffered by Atal, Sada, and Prem. He interrogates everyone present and realizes that Tomar (Mahmood Hashmi) is conspicuously absent. Accusing Tomar of the kidnapping, Krishan Bihari confronts him. However, Tomar denies the allegations and insists that Krishan Bihari owes him an apology and vows to be his eternal enemy. Krishna Devi (Neha Joshi) counters Tomar's threat. Krishan Bihari expresses his fears to Krishna Devi about Tomar's role as a policeman and the potential danger to their children, emphasizing the need for caution. Meanwhile, Atal is distressed about the recent incident. Krishna Devi imparts a lesson on strength, encouraging him to be strong like a lion, even in challenging situations. Atal and his family receive a letter, piquing everyone's curiosity. Krishan Bihari reads the letter, revealing that Vimla (Prachitee Ahirrao)
, their daughter, has been unwell for two weeks, and her in-laws have asked her to return. Tearfully, Krishna Devi pleads to accompany him to bring their daughter back. They depart for Vimla's place, and Avadh (Rahul Jethwa) heads for an interview. In a shocking twist, Tomar, now back in his official policeman role, interrupts Avadh's interview. Tomar exploits the situation, accusing Avadh of wrongdoing and subsequently arresting him.”

About &TV’s Happu Ki Ultan Paltan track, Keshav shares, “Unsatisfied with the marriage between Kate (Gazal Sood) and Kamlesh (Sanjay Choudhary), Happu (Yogesh Tripathi) imposes numerous rules and regulations on them. He designates Malaika (Sonal Panwar) as their supervisor. Despite Rajesh's (Geetanjali Mishra) invitation to join her for the wedding festivities at her parents' house, Happu gives an excuse, claiming he must apprehend the gangster Shakal and attend a party hosted by the Minister. The following day, a picture from the Minister's party appears in the newspaper, and HCR (Hritik, Chamchi & Ranbir) gleefully present it to Rajesh, leading her to reprimand Happu. Beni (Vishwanath Chatterjee) smirks at Happu's predicament, provoking Happu to insult him.

Disturbed, Beni retreats to his room, locking himself in. Rajesh, Bimlesh (Sapna Sikarwar), and Katori Amma (Himani Shivpuri) plead with him to come out through the window. Katori Amma prays to Kanha Ji to rectify Happu's actions, catching the attention of Keshav (Vedaant Saluja), who observes with a smile.”
About &TV’s Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain track, Anita Bhabi shares, “Angoori (Shubhangi Atre) is hurt by the realisation that everyone is taking her for granted. Tiwari (Rohitashv Gour) selfishly splurges 21,000 rupees on an outfit for an event yet instructs Angoori to wear her old dress, claiming that no one will notice her. When Angoori confides in Vibhuti (Aasif Sheikh) about this, he dismisses the conversation, intensifying her misery. Overhearing Tika (Vaibhav Mathur) and Tilu (Salim Zaidi) expressing hunger, Angoori learns that they plan to approach her for food, mocking her innocence. Meanwhile, Bhure (Rakesh Bapat) informs Angoori that the land she had purchased with her piggy bank money years ago is now valued at 50 lakhs. Anita (Vidisha Srivastava) invites everyone for dinner, but Tiwari and Vibhuti's insensitive behaviour towards Angoori only deepens her emotional distress. In her despair, Angoori confides in Saxena (Saanand Verma), who advises her to change her behaviour. Saxena helps her connect with new friends, and she starts attending parties, gradually adopting a more assertive and ruder demeanour. Angoori even insults Tiwari and Vibhuti in front of her newfound friends. Tiwari and Vibhuti seek Anita's help to reconcile with Angoori but are shocked to see that Anita, too, has adopted a similar behaviour, and both the ladies have been found in a drunken state on a rickshaw.”

Actors share their first Kite-Flying experience this Makar Sankranti!

Actors share their first Kite-Flying experience this Makar Sankranti!

Makar Sankranti, also known as the Kite Festival, is joyously observed throughout India. The festive spirit is marked by flying kites, symbolizing the onset of spring. &TV artists share their memorable first experiences of flying kites during this auspicious occasion. These include Vyom Thakkar (Young Atal, Atal), Geetanjali Mishra (Rajesh Singh, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan), and Shubhangi Atre (Angoori Bhabi, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai).
Vyom Thakkar, essaying Young Atal in &TV’s show Atal, says,Being a Gujarati, we refer to Makar Sankranti as Uttrayan, a festival we celebrate with great enthusiasm. Our entire family gathers at our home for this occasion. We begin the festivities with prayers, and then, we all head to the terrace to engage in the traditional activity of flying kites. This has become a cherished tradition for us. I vividly recall my first experience of flying a kite. Initially, I felt a bit nervous amidst the multitude of kites soaring in the sky, and I wasn't even familiar with handling the manjha (kite string). That's when my father stepped in as a hero, guiding me on the art of carefully lengthening the string. He taught me to hold one part in one hand and bring the other hand a little further down to brace the kite once it goes up in the air. Despite numerous failures in the initial attempts, I didn’t give up. I repeated the entire process with the hope of success. Slowly but steadily, my kite began to ascend, with both me and my father skillfully holding the string. The joy of seeing my kite flying high in the sky was immensely gratifying. Over the years, I have honed my kite-flying skills to the point where I can confidently declare myself a pro. Now, it has become quite a challenge for anyone to outdo me in this traditional and thrilling festival activity.”

Geetanjali Mishra, aka Rajesh Singh from Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, shares, In Uttar Pradesh, kite flying is not just a seasonal activity reserved for Makar Sankranti; it's a year-round passion. The vibrant hues of kites paint the sky throughout the year. As a kid, I dedicated endless hours to this exhilarating pastime on terraces. Anticipation builds up two weeks before Makar Sankranti, prompting my friends and me to embark on a kite-buying spree. Armed with bulk purchases, we would go to our terraces, transforming them into lively arenas for aerial battles. The thrill of cutting opponents' kites and engaging in spirited chases from one terrace to another became the essence of our days. Among these joyous escapades, one incident remains etched in my memory. During a spirited pursuit of a soaring kite, I took a tumble that resulted in minor injuries. Determined to keep it a secret from my mother, I hid the mishap. However, mothers possess an uncanny intuition, and mine soon discovered the truth. The revelation triggered disappointment and concern in my entire family, a testament to the inherent risks associated with our beloved pastime. In my hometown, remnants of those spirited kite-flying days still linger in the form of mementoes – a collection of kites that serve as nostalgic artefacts, preserving the essence of a cherished childhood activity. The laughter, the camaraderie, and the occasional mishaps are all woven into the fabric of these kites, symbolizing not just a seasonal festivity but a year-round love affair with the skies.” Shubhangi Atre, aka Angoori Bhabi from Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, shares, “My encounter with kite flying remains etched in my memory as an unforgettable experience. It granted me the chance to relish the excitement of manoeuvring a kite through the sky. The initial foray into kite flying was marked by a surge of enthusiasm and eager anticipation. The vibrant and enchanting kites dotting the sky captivated my attention, intensifying my eagerness to launch my own. Witnessing the myriad kites soaring above, I couldn't wait to join the ranks. The moment finally arrived when I propelled my kite into the sky, and with each passing second, it ascended to greater heights. The sheer exhilaration of seeing my kite glide through the air was beyond description, filling me

with immense joy. A delightful memory from that day includes a playful squabble with my sisters over our respective kite-flying prowess. They couldn't help but express a hint of jealousy as my first attempt proved successful, prompting them to redouble their efforts amidst laughter. The entire experience was wonderful, and the festive ambience of Makar Sankranti continues to evoke a profound sense of happiness in my heart. I extend my warm wishes to everyone for a Happy Makar Sankranti!”
