Music composer Nitin Ugalmugle talks about the journey behind this song, “We had earlier composed the song ‘Mayabapa Vitthala’ together, which was a huge hit. Taking inspiration from that, I, Mukund Bhalerao and Pawan Lonkar – the three of us – decided to start ‘Mauli Music Company’ together. Since our background is linked to the Warkari culture, devotional songs will remain the focus of our work. Our first song, ‘Odh Tuzha Pandharichi’, was performed in the voice of Ajaydada and the response it received is very encouraging for us.”

He further says, “The concept of this song is based on the Odhi of Pandharpur. The longing of the Warakaris for the visit to Vitthal, the emotions of the procession and the faith expressed in simplicity – all this can be heard in this song. He has said that Mauli Music Company will soon come up with more devotional songs and emotional music projects. “Our aim is to reach devotional and cultural music to the new generation. To give opportunities to new artists and present traditional music in a new form,” he also mentioned.”

राज कांबळे या गाण्याच्या प्रोसेसविषयी सांगतात,”मी मूळचा कोल्हापूरचा आहे. मला लहानपणापासूनच संगीताची खूप आवड आहे. माझ्या “इसक झालया”आणि “तुझं गं मला याड लागलं” या गाण्याला प्रेक्षकांचा उत्तम प्रतिसाद मिळाला. त्यामुळे यंदाच्या पावसाच्या मोसमात मी गुलाबी ऋतू गाण घेऊन आलो आहे. आणि हे गाण ही प्रेक्षकांना आवडत आहे. या गाण्याची खासियत अशी की या गाण्याचे कम्पोझिशन मला २०१९ मध्ये सुचले. आताच्या जेन झी यूथला साजेस अस मी गाण लिहील. तसेच हे गाण पाहणाऱ्या प्रेक्षकांना गुलाबी गुलाबी अनुभव यावा हेच माझ्या मनात होत. माझ्या सर्व गाण्यांवर प्रेक्षकांनी भरभरून प्रेम करावं अशी मी आशा व्यक्त करतो.”

दिग्दर्शक अभिजीत दाणी गाण्याच्या चित्रीकरणाविषयी सांगतात, “जेव्हा राज दादाने मला हे गाण शूट करण्यासाठी विचारलं तेव्हा मी ठरवलं की हे गाण थोड जेन झी स्टाइलने शूट करायचं. आम्ही या गण्याचं शूट नाशिकमधील एका सुंदर कॉलेजमध्ये करायचं ठरवलं. मे महिन्याचा पहिलाच आठवडा असल्यामुळे कॉलेजमध्ये परीक्षा सुरू होत्या. शूटला खूप अडचणी आल्या परंतु कॉलेजने तसेच गाण्याच्या टीमने आणि राज कांबळे व अस्मिता परदेशी यांनी खूप सांभाळून घेतलं. अशाप्रकारे या गाण्याचं शूट झालं.”
