Age no bar … Sa Re Ga Ma Pa baar-baar!

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’s ex-contestant, Tyagraj Khadilkar does an impromptu audition

Music has no limits, borders or age barriers. Well, this stands true for popular Marathi film industry singer and composer and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa yesteryear’s contestant, Tyagraj Khadilkar. He was spotted once again on this prestigious platform, almost two decades after his previous stint as a contestant,  doing what he loves doing the most – Singing!  

Incidentally, Tyagraj was accompanying his daughter, Radhini who was auditioning for the current season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. He had come down as her guide and pillar of strength and support. But the moment he walked on to the stage after his daughter’s performance, judge Shekhar Ravjiani and the jury member, Padma Wadkar instantly recognized him and jumped with joy!

Commented Shekhar, “You have been a contestant of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in the past and it feels great to have you back on the stage. It’s great that you are supporting your daughter, but I would like to urge you to sing and take over the stage and audition for all of us and live your passion. This year there is no age limit and we would really like to see you perform once again on this stage.” This simple yet loving request from Shekhar moved Tyagraj so much that he immediately got on to the stage to perform on the evergreen super-hit song, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. His energy and enthusiasm were incomparable and enthralled everyone, especially the judge, Wajid Khan. He saluted his undying spirit and came up on the stage to thank him.

Kudos to Shekhar and Wajid for encouraging talented singers and urging them to pursue their passion in the field of music!

Ruchit Patel of A Bhole Guruji Production and Haresh Patel of A D Films along with writer director Anil Naryani kept the mahurat of Hindi film Dahisar Check Naka with song recording at Krishna Studio. Mohit Chouhan and Priyanka Negi sang the romantic song for the film. Actress Kangna Sharma, Rushad Rana, Srijitaa Ghosh, Sejal Mandaviya, Shikha Chabra, Shrutika Gaonkar came to be part of mahurat  . Lyrics are written by Sanjeev Chaturvedi and Music composed by Kaashi Recharad. The shooting of the film will start from November.

Danish Alfaaz – Another UP Talent Makes Entry In Bollywood.

Hailing from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, the land that’s given Hindi cinema its countless superstars and multi talented personalities, Danish Alfaaz is all set to debut and take over the Hindi film industry with Poonam Pandey and Shakti Kapoor starrer The Journey Of Karma. This music maestro will be debuting as a singer, composer and lyricist.

Starting off as a singer, Danish has honed his musical side quite rapidly and moved on from just a singer to a lyrist and a composer as well in no time. Having 3 hit albums to his name, Danish is basking in the glory of his first Bollywood project. “It was after my third single that I got approached for this film and I was given a free hand to not just lend my voice by produce the numbers from scratch and I think that freedom is extremely necessary in this field,” says Danish.

Talking about the music in Journey Of Karma, Danish says, “I have three tracks in the film and all completely different from each other. While one is a sad number, one is a cozy romance track and the last one being a dance number,” he further adds, “I’ve given my all to these three tracks and I want my debut to be loved by all. Just hoping my numbers do well with the audience.”

Well, given his popularity with just three tracks and the growth he has had in the industry, we really hope Danish has a long stay in the film industry.

Megha Dhade's never-back-down attitude made her win the title of Bigg Boss Marathi and now when she entered BB12 house with a bang, on Monday 22 October, she is all set to steal the show.

Megha Dhade has done some special roles in Hindi TV serials like Kis Desh Mai Hai Mera Dil , Kasauti Zindagi ki, Pehchaan and Kasturi. She rose to fame as a contestant and the winner of Season 1 of Bigg Boss Marathi for taking an individualistic stand, being undaunted and confidently taking decisions. Megha Dhade was nick named as Tigress by her fans as she made a new family Meghsters during Biggboss Marathi journey. Bigg boss 12 will be a new challenge and a strenuous journey for her as other contestants are much more popular and this season is much more different and difficult  than the earlier seasons.

Sonam Kapoor released Raisha Lalwani's debut novel 'The Diary on the Fifth Floor' .

The diva of Bollywood industry Sonam Kapoor was recently in Delhi for the release of Raisha Lalwani’s debut novel 'The Diary on the Fifth Floor’. Along with her Union Minister Babul Supriyo, Gen V K Singh, actor Manjot Singh and many other well-known personalities were present at the book launch. Kapish Mehra,MD of Rupa Publication appreciated the book . Shantanu Roy moderated the good discussion during the event. The grand event took place at Hotel Taj Palace. Written by Raisha Lalwani ‘The Diary on the Fifth Floor’ is a 25 year old adventure story of a 25 year old lady. As the novel's story progresses, it has been told about the characters in the same way. It is a story based on a true incident.

   Well, Raisa Lalwani is a mother, story teller, a day homemaker, and an author at night. Raised as former Delhi University student she masters in International Business. Writing came as an interesting twist in her life. The story of Raisha's writing had begun since her childhood, when she understood the biography of people in big cities as a role.
