 मुंबई, 12 जानेवारी, 2022:  धर्मा प्रोडक्शसंने दक्षिणेतील सुपरस्टार आणि निर्माते  पृथ्वीराज सुकुमारन आणि मॅजिक फ्रेम्स , जे या कथेद्वारे हिंदी चित्रपटसृष्टीत पदार्पण करत आहेत आणि केप ऑफ गुड फिल्म्स सोबत  ड्रामा-कॉमेडी चित्रपट "सेल्फी" ची घोषणा केली असून हा चित्रपट 'ड्रायव्हिंग लायसन्स' या सुपरहिट मल्याळम चित्रपटाचा रिमेक आहे.
 अक्षय आणि इमरान यांना पहिल्यांदाच एकत्र मोठया पडद्यावर जादू करताना बघणं आणि  अभिनेता म्हणून त्यांच्या स्वतःच्या अष्टपैलुत्वाचा एक ठोसा जोडताना पाहणं खूपच रोमांचक असेल.  ड्रामा ने भरलेली ही एक अशी अनोख्या पद्धतीने रचलेली कथा असेल जी प्रेक्षकांना उत्सुकतेने आनंददायक ब्रेक वर घेऊन जाईल.  समकालीन कथाकथनाचा वारसा पुढे नेत आणि हिंदी चित्रपटसृष्टीला वैविध्यपूर्ण प्रतिभा आणि कथांच्या शैलीसह विस्तार करताना, आम्हाला आशा आहे की ‘सेल्फी’ सह प्रेक्षक या हलक्याफुलक्या चित्रपटाचे कौतुक करण्यास सक्षम असतील.

Dharma Productions with the south superstar & producer, Prithviraj Sukumaran along with Magic Frames who are marking their big Hindi cinema debut with this story, and Cape of Good Films are all set to tap into a drama-comedy with the remake of ‘Driving License’, a super hit Malayalam film.
 
It will be incredibly exciting to see Akshay & Emraan create magic on-screen together for the very first time, adding a punch of their own versatility as actors. The audience is in for a uniquely crafted story that takes them on a drama filled hilarious break.
