This year was special for Lizaa Malik as she welcomed Lord Ganesh in her new house with much enthusiasm.

Lizaa Malik said “Ganesh Chaturthi is a celebration of all things pure, intellectual, artistic, and prosperous and the beginning of all good things in life since that is what this God is worshiped for. During this time my home is thrown open for guests to visit and eat as and when they like. There is a fun element along with spirituality in this festival. Ganpati Bappa is like a special guest who comes home for a few days. We all surround him with happiness and then miss him when he leaves”.

Mumbai:SIP Academy India is a unique organization as it is a for profit social Enterprise. It has made a huge difference to the lives of many children and also women across the length and breadth of India. Starting in a humble way in 2003 with one programme, 3 employees and a few franchisees largely in Tamil Nadu in 2003 SIP Academy now runs 5 programmes and is present in 23 states over 300 cities and has close to 800 centres and 300 schools where the programmes are run. In 2016 SIP Academy India went International and now the programme runs in 8 countries across the world. Every week over 150000 students are touched by a SIP Academy Programme in India.

SIP Academy, has not only been creating mathematics geniuses rather is also aiming at creating  responsible citizens for the country and thus they celebrated their 16^th anniversary in an old age home in Vasai, where students spent time with 56 elderly women by planting trees.

Highlighting the need to shelter and preserve the environment Mr Dinesh Victor, MD of SIP Academy said, “Sip Abacus has always protected and conserved the environment. We propagate sustainable ways in all our business practices. I am happy to see the high enthusiasm exhibited by the students who have come forth for the drive. Let us all pledge not only to plant trees but also nurture them”

Ms Sarala K- Head (HR & CSR) of SIP Academy said, “We have to ensure that our future generation is raised in a manner that they understand the value of conserving the environment. Today we decided to celebrate our anniversary over here so that kids can understand the value of greenery which is diminishing day by day. Also they have to learn the social value like care which they will learn by spending time with these elderly ladies.”

SIP aims to promote the following trees-

a.      NEEM - protects our environment in flood control, reduced soil erosion and less salination.

b.      AMLA – a tropical tree with great medicinal properties

c.       MANGO - trees help to filter water, combat salinity, clean the air and increase flows into water catchments. They also provide food and shelter not only to humans but also to wildlife.

SIP has been planting trees every year and this year also they have planted 3500 saplings in 30 major cities along with 4000 SIP children

Tanushree Dutta seems to be coming back to Bollywood and for good. We have seen a recent set of amazing pictures of Tanushree and I think it would be an educated guess that she is looking to make her mark again in Bollywood and in front of the camera.

Tanushree has had a tumultuous 2018 as she spearheaded the Me too movement which has brought about wholesome changes in working with women. She started it all and then it percolated deeper into a great social impact in India for the betterment of society.

 If reports are to be believed, she is now going to make a comeback into the film industry as an actor and prove her mettle. This woman has got steely resolve is no secret and I think the country will be rooting for her once she is back. She has been an impactful performer in her previous roles and we hope to see Tanushree 2.0 in her new avatar and we can't wait to welcome her back.

Ganesh Chaturthi is Gurpreet Kaur Chadha's favorite festival, and she is a firm believer of Lord Ganesha. 

Gurpreet Kaur Chadha revealed, “I have very fond memories of the festival right from childhood. I belong to Delhi and I always wanted to celebrate this festival in Mumbai. I am lucky that after shifting when my kids grew they brought Gannu Bappa home and this is our 3rd consecutive year we are celebrating with the great pomp and show. This is one festival when the entire family comes together. This year, we welcomed Bappa amidst grand celebrations and decorated the idol in the best way possible"

Wishing love, peace and happiness to everyone, Gurpreet Kaur Chadha says “It’s that time of the year again when Lord Ganesha is welcomed with open arms. Ganesh Utsav is one of my favourite and the most spectacular festival, honouring Lord Ganesha. The best part is that my home becomes very lively with the devotional songs, dances and drum beats being a part of the rituals as part of the festivity in my house. Loud music, traffic jams but no complaints as the Lord makes way into our hearts once again. It's a tradition that I cannot do without." 

Like every year, Gurpreet joined her family and near and dear ones  for Bhajans during the day. She also indulged in some delicious Maharashtrian food and sweets.

बिग बॉस मराठी संपल्यानंतरही माधव देवचके, नेहा शितोळे, हिना पांचाळ, आरोह वेलणकर आणि शिवानी सुर्वेने आपली मैत्री जपली आहे. माधव देवचकेच्या घरी गणपती बाप्पाच्या दर्शनासाठी नेहा आणि हिना आल्या होत्या. बाप्पाच्या दर्शनानंतर माधवने आरोह वेलणकर आणि शिवानी सुर्वेला व्हिडीयो कॉल केला आणि मग हिना, माधव, नेहा, आरोह आणि शिवानीच्या बराचवेळ गप्पा रंगल्या. ह्या गप्पांनंतर माधव, हिना आणि नेहाने घरात खूप धमाल केली. 

सूत्रांच्या अनुसार, अभिनेता माधव देवचकेच्या घरी दरवर्षी गणपती दर्शनाला त्याचे शाळा-कॉलेजपासून ते फिल्म इंडस्ट्रीतले बरेच मित्र-मैत्रिणी येतात. आता ह्यामध्ये हिना, नेहाचीही भर पडलीय. त्याला बिग बॉसमध्ये मिळालेल्या ह्या दोन मैत्रिणींशी त्याचे ऋणानुबंध आयुष्यभरासाठी जुळले. ह्या नेहा-हिनाने माधवच्या घरी खूप धमाल केली. त्याच्या सर्व घरच्यांसोबत भरपूर गप्पा मारण्याशिवाय त्या तिघांनी एक मस्त डान्सही केला. ज्याचा व्हिडीयो माधवने नंतर आपल्या सोशल मीडियावर टाकला.

नेहा आणि हिना गणपती दर्शनासाठी घरी भेटायला आल्या त्यामुळे माधवला खूप आनंद झाला. तो म्हणतो, "गेल्या 60 वर्षांपासून आमच्या घरी गणपती बसत आहे पण हे वर्ष आमच्यासाठी अधिक खास आहे कारण बिग बॉसच्या घरातल्या दोन नव्या मैत्रिणी माझ्या घरी आल्या आहेत. बाप्पाच्या दर्शनासाठी आल्या आहेत."

माधव आणि त्याच्या घरच्यांना भेटून नेहा म्हणाली, "माधवच्या घरी मी पहिल्यांदाच गणपतीसाठी आले आहे. पण माधवच्या घरची मंडळी इतकी गोड आहेत की मला अजिबात असं वाटत नाहीये की मी पहिल्यांदाच त्यांना भेटते आहे. मुंबईतलं माझं घर सोडून आता अजून एक नविन घर मला मिळालय. मी बऱ्याचदा कामानिमीत्त मुंबईत असल्यामुळे घरात गणपती बसवणे खूप मिस करते पण यावर्षीपासून आता माधवच्या घरी गणपती येत असल्याने घरी नसणे मी मिस करणार नाही."

हिना आणि माधवचे बिग बॉसच्या घरात काही वेळेला मतभेद, कडाक्याची भांडणं झाली होती. परंतू बिग बॉसच्या घरातून बाहेर पडल्यावर ते सारे रुसवे फुगवे विसरून ते पुन्हा नव्याने मित्र म्हणून भेटले. त्याविषयी हिना म्हणते, "बिग बॉसच्या घरात एन्ट्री केली तेव्हा कुठल्याच स्पर्धकांशी माझी ओळख नव्हती. पण बिग बॉसच्या घरातून परत आल्यावर बाहेरच्या जगात त्यांच्या बरोबर जगणं खूप वेगळी आणि मस्त फिलींग आहे. बिग बॉसच्या घरामूळे मला खास दोस्त, बेस्ट बडीज मिळाले. बिग बॉसच्या घरात स्पर्धकांबरेबर भांडणं होतात पण बाहेर आल्यावर ते विसरून सगळे पुन्हा खूप छान मित्र होतात."
