The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace hosts a specially curated event
with Celebrity MasterChef Diana Chan
Hyderabad, 9th September 2019: The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace in collaboration with World On A Plate recently hosted a specially curated event with MasterChef Australia 2017 winner Diana Chan. The soiree showcased a masterclass with Diana Chan followed by an exclusive fine-dine, and the introduction of her all new pop-up Canteen.
The unique event witnessed a camaraderie of like-minded guests who appreciate exquisite gourmet food. The select menu curated by Chef Diana included her signature creations like Pumpkin Raviolo (Pumpkin filled raviolo and curry leaf beurre noisette), Saffron potato dumplings with rasam broth (Saffron potato dumplings served with spicy tangy broth with tomatoes), Tea smoked chicken breast with Goma dressing served with Asian mushrooms, and the pièce the resistance - a scrumptious dessert to end the perfect meal with a decadent chamomile white chocolate mousse, kaffir lime yoghurt sorbet, chamomile crumb and honey tuile.
Adds Vijay Chandran (Director of Food and Beverage) “It is both our honour and privilege to welcome and host Ms Diana Chan at The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace. We are always proud to collaborate with such highly skilled talent as it serves as an incredible learning platform and an interactive experience that our guests truly appreciate. We look forward to many similar collaborations in the near future, new learnings, and curated dining experiences par excellence.”
In 2016, Diana was urged by friends to enter MasterChef Australia and went on to win the ninth season of the show in 2017. Diana has made a name for herself both within Australia’s culinary industry and further afield. She has been associated with many iconic brands in a range of capacities like designing menus, creating content, hosting events, inventing products, writing columns amongst others. In 2018, her pop-up restaurant Canteen quickly became a massive hit, and plans for expansion are now underway.
