Chanchala Kumari and Geeta Phogat leave everyone stunned with their wrestling moves on BYJU’S Young Genius Season 2
Every child is talented or gifted in some way or the other, amazing everyone with their exceptional talent. Jumping all hurdles, 15-year-old Chanchala Kumari from Jharkhand is making the country proud with her achievements just like her inspiration, the Indian Olympic athlete and first Commonwealth Games gold winner Geeta Phogat. This weekend on BYJU’S Young Genius, we will get to witness Geeta and Chanchala getting candid and talking about their favorite sport, Wrestling.
Both vivid sports lovers, during one of the fun segments on the show Chanchala will show some mind-blowing wrestling moves! The young wonder will pick up Geeta on her shoulders leaving everyone stunned. Geeta would also be getting nostalgic about how Babita dreamt of seeing her hair grow but because of the sport, they were trimmed.
Talking about her appearance on the show, Geeta shares, “Chanchala is an upcoming diamond for India. It’s commendable to see the passion these youngsters have for sports today. It’s commendable how her parents make sure to support her and I’m sure she will make us all proud.”
Chanchala has many accolades to her credit. She has represented India at World Cadet Wrestling Championship in Budapest. In 2020 Chanchala was qualified to train in the Lucknow India camp with wrestling stars Sakshi Malik and Geeta Phogat.
