                          निष्ठा निशांत एक तृतीयपंथी वैज्ञानिक संशोधक आणि मानवाधिकार कार्यकर्त्या आहेत. त्यांचे ट्विट फाउंडेशन (ट्रान्सजेंडर वेल्फेअर इक्विटी अँड एम्पॉवरमेंट ट्रस्ट), हे तृतीयपंथी व्यक्तींद्वारे समुदायाला निवारा, शिक्षण, रोजगार, कौशल्य-निर्माण आणि समुपदेशन समर्थन प्रदान करण्यासाठी कार्य करते. ट्रान्स कॅफे हा 'ट्रान्सवुमन' द्वारे व्यवस्थापित केलेला व्यवसाय आहे, ज्याने शहरातील ट्रान्सजेंडर व्यक्तींसाठी सामाजिक समर्थनासह नोकरीच्या संधी निर्माण केल्या आहेत.

                             ममताची कहाणी, निष्ठा आणि तृतीयपंथी समुदायातील इतर अनेकांच्या जीवनात अनेक साम्य आहेत. ममताने तिच्या मालिकेतील स्वतःच्या प्रवासाबद्दल सांगितले. तिने तिची मुलगी 'दिशा' हिला एक तृतीयपंथी आई म्हणून कसे वाढवले, आर्थिक स्वावलंबनाच्या प्रवासादरम्यान तिला आलेली आव्हाने आणि सामाजिक प्रतिक्रिया यांवरही तिने प्रकाश टाकला. दिशाला सांभाळताना ममताला आजपर्यंत किती अडचणींना सामोरे जावे लागले, त्यातून ममता कशी ठामपणे उभी राहिली आणि तिने दिशाला चांगली शिकवण कशी दिली, ह्याबद्दल सांगितले.
