'Ajmer Files' - Is now a Film!

A collaborative project between Tips Films & Abhishek Dudhaiya has moved from web series to a theatrical release.

Originally the collaboration started as a web series between Tips Films Ltd. and Abhishek Dudhaiya, but Ajmer Files will be made into a feature film and released in theatres. With audiences' preference for theatres to experience stories on a larger-than-life scale, many filmmakers are choosing to tell their stories through the silver screen.

This fictionalized film is an interpretation of the real-life events of the 1992 Ajmer rape and blackmail scandal that had gripped the nation in fear & horror. The makers of the film felt it was apt for a release on the silver screen with the interesting storyline and the cast considered bringing it to life.

Kumar Taurani - MD & Chairman of Tips Industries Limited, said, "From a strategic point of view, this is an amazing opportunity for us since the audiences are hungry to experience movies in theatres as it provides an opportunity to move beyond the doors of office & home. We are happy to be co-producing the film with Abhishek Dudhaiya. The storyline is carefully crafted to duplicate real-life events."

Further expanding on the film and the association, Abhishek Dudhaiya said, “This is our first co-production with Tips Films. We’re happy and excited to work on Ajmer Files. The scripting is almost complete and the story is very touching to the core. Now that this is being made for the big screen, I have no doubts that it will captivate the audience.”

निर्देशक सुदीप्तो सेन की फिल्म 'द केरल स्टोरीज' को लेकर पश्चिम बंगाल में सियासत अभी शांत भी नहीं हुई थी कि अब वहां पर एक और हिंदी फिल्म पर बवाल मचने के संकेत मिले हैं। दरअसल, अब पश्चिम बंगाल पुलिस के निशाने पर फिल्म 'द डायरी ऑफ वेस्ट बंगाल' के निर्देशक सनोज मिश्रा आ गए हैं। बंगाल पुलिस ने निर्देशक पर राज्य को बदनाम करने का आरोप लगाते हुए उनके खिलाफ एक नोटिस जारी किया है।

के ट्वीट के हवाले से यह पता लगा है कि पश्चिम बंगाल पुलिस ने 'द डायरी ऑफ वेस्ट बंगाल' के निर्देशक को नोटिज जारी किया है। एनएनआई के ट्वीट के मुताबिक, 'पश्चिम बंगाल पुलिस ने हिंदी फिल्म द डायरी ऑफ वेस्ट बंगाल के निर्देशक सनोज मिश्रा को नोटिस जारी कर आरोप लगाया है कि निर्देशक इस फिल्म से बंगाल को बदनाम करने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं।'

इन धाराओं के तहत जारी हुआ नोटिस

'द डायरी ऑफ वेस्ट बंगाल' के निदेशक सनोज मिश्रा को 30 मई को पश्चिम बंगाल के एमहर्स्ट स्ट्रीट पीएस में पूछताछ के लिए सीआरपीसी की धारा 41ए के तहत नोटिस दिया गया है। इस फिल्म को लेकर आईपीसी की विभिन्न धाराओं, आईटी एक्ट और सिनेमैटोग्राफी एक्ट के तहत एफआईआर दर्ज की गई है। अब देखना यह होगा कि इस मामले में आगे क्या होता है।

HIV बाधित लोकांच्या अडचणी दूर करण्यासाठी त्यांनी "पाॅझीटीव्ह पिपल्स फाऊंडेशन" या नावाने संस्था स्थापन केली. या संस्थेमार्फत त्यांनी अनेक सेवाभावी उपक्रम राबवले. त्यातला सर्वात स्तुत्य उपक्रम म्हणजे "वधु वर सूचक मेळावा".

HIV बाधित अनेक लोकांचे लग्न करण्याचे स्वप्न सुशील यांनी पूर्ण केले. त्यांनी जवळपास HIV बाधित २०० हुन अधिक जोडप्यांची लग्न लावली आहेत. 

‘पाॅझीटीव्ह पिपल्स फाऊंडेशन’ संस्थेचे ‘सुशिल गायकवाड’ सर HIV विषयी सांगतात, “मी गेल्या 2013 पासून HIV बाधित रुग्णांसाठी समाजसेवा करत आहे. आमच्या पॉझिटिव्ह पीपल फाउंडेशन संस्थेतर्फे बीड तसेच नाशिक या ठिकाणी देखील नुकताच विधवा व अनाथ महिलांना मोफत साड्या वाटपाचा कार्यक्रम करण्यात आला व महिलांशी संवाद साधून परिस्थितीशी खचून न जाता पुन्हा लग्न करून नव्याने संसार कसा करता येईल, असा आधार देऊन पीडित महिलांना मार्गदर्शन करण्यात आले. तसेच काही विधवा व अनाथ मुला मुलींची लग्न देखील संस्थेकडून जुळवण्यात आली. सतत डिप्रेशनमध्ये राहणारी मुलं व मुली अगदी घाबरलेले अवस्थेत आम्ही आता जगणार नाही, आमची समाजात बदनामी होईल... आमच्याकडे आत्महात्येशिवाय पर्याय नाही अशा विचाराच्या मुला मुलींना देखील योग्य मार्गदर्शन करून जगण्याचा सल्ला दिला व अशातच मुंबई मालाड येथे गॅस सिलेंडरचा स्फोट होऊन घडलेल्या घटनेत बरीच वित्तहानी झाल्यामुळे तेथील निराधार महिलांना देखील दहा साड्या दोन महिन्याचा (रेशन) किराणा देण्यात आला. या संस्थेमार्फत अनेक सेवाभावी उपक्रम राबवले त्यातला सर्वात स्तूत्य उपक्रम म्हणजे वधु वर सूचक मेळावा.”

The film Godday Godday Cha follows the mission of Sonam Bajwa around the time when women were not allowed to attend the Baraat ceremony during Punjabi weddings due to societal norms. Despite facing suppression, the women in the movie yearn to be a part of the ceremony and plan to sneak in, defying the restrictive norms.

Starring Sonam Bajwa, Tania, Gitaz Bindrakhia, and Gurjazz - 'Godday Godday Chaa' is a complete family entertainer. Penned by Jagdeep Sidhu, Vijay Kumar Arora's direction, this family entertainer is slated to release on 26th May.
