दमदार आवाजाने लाखो रसिकांच्या हृदयांवर राज्य करणारे प्रसिद्ध गायक कैलाश खेर यांनी आजवर अनेक सुपरहिट गाण्यांसाठी आपला आवाज दिला आहे. आपल्या दमदार आवाज आणि अर्थपूर्ण गाण्यांसाठी ओळखल्या जाणाऱ्या गायक कैलाश खेर यांनी आता गाण्याच्या माध्यमातून स्वच्छतेचा नारा देत सामान्यजनांना सजग करण्याचा प्रयत्न केला आहे.

असं म्हणत त्यांनी प्रत्येकाला सामाजिक जबाबदारीची जाणीव करून देण्याचा प्रयत्न केला आहे. रेडबड मोशन पिक्चर या बॅनरअंतर्गत येत्या १ ऑगस्टला प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीला येणाऱ्या 'अवकारीका' या मराठी चित्रपटातील प्रमोशनल गाणं गायक कैलास खेर यांनी गायलं आहे. अरविंद भोसले यांनी लिहिलेल्या या गाण्याला श्रेयस देशपांडे यांनी संगीत दिलं  आहे.

'अवकारीका' चित्रपटाच्या माध्यमातून स्वच्छतेचा हा नारा आता रुपेरी पडद्यावरही घुमणार आहे. स्वच्छतेचा प्रश्न दिवसेंदिवस भीषण होत चालला आहे. अनेकांना मात्र त्याची जाणीवही नसते. या गाण्याच्या माध्यमातून त्यांना ती जाणीव करून देण्याचा प्रयत्न होत आहे, त्यामुळे माझ्यासाठीसुद्धा हा अतिशय वेगळा अनुभव आहे, असं गायक कैलास खेर यांनी सांगितलं.

' स्वच्छतेसारखा एक महत्त्वाचा सामजिक प्रश्न 'अवकारीका' चित्रपटाच्या माध्यमातून प्रभावीपणे मांडता येईल व लोकांपर्यंत पोहचवता येईल या विश्वासाने चित्रपट दिग्दर्शनाचे शिवधनुष्य हाती घेतल्याचे हाती घेतल्याचे दिग्दर्शक अरविंद भोसले सांगतात. चित्रपटाची निर्मिती भारत टिळेकर, अरुण जाधव यांनी केली असून सहनिर्मिती मनोज गायकवाड, अरविंद भोसले, मृणाल कानडे, गीता सिंग यांची आहे.

मराठी चित्रपट ‘जारण’ने रसिकांच्या मनात अढळ स्थान निर्माण करत केवळ समीक्षक, चित्रपटसृष्टी नव्हे, तर सर्वसामान्य प्रेक्षकांकडूनही भरभरून प्रेम मिळवले  आहे. अनेक मोठ्या हिंदी चित्रपटांच्या स्पर्धेतही ‘जारण’ने आपल्या वेगळ्या आशयामुळे चित्रपटगृहात आपली खास जागा निर्माण केली आहे. प्रदर्शित होऊन तीन आठवडे उलटले असतानाच ‘जारण’ने सुमारे ६ कोटींच्या वर कमाई केली आहे. हा प्रवास केवळ आकड्यांपुरता मर्यादित न राहता, भावनिक गुंतवणूक, आशयघन कथा आणि प्रेक्षकांकडून तोंडभरून कौतुक या सगळ्यांचा एकत्रित मिलाफ आहे. चित्रपटाला मिळणाऱ्या सकारात्मक प्रतिसादामुळे ‘जारण’चे शोजही अनेक ठिकाणी वाढवण्यात आले. या यशाच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर नुकतेच एका भव्य सक्सेस पार्टीचं आयोजन करण्यात आले. यामध्ये ‘जारण’ची संपूर्ण टीम, निर्माते, कलाकार मंडळी यांच्यासह चित्रपटसृष्टीतील काही मान्यवरांनी उपस्थिती लावली.  

या वेळी दिग्दर्शक हृषीकेश गुप्ते म्हणतात, ''जारण’सारखा सिनेमा बनवणे हे स्वप्न होते आणि आज जेव्हा प्रेक्षक त्या स्वप्नाशी स्वतःला जोडतात, तेव्हा एक निर्मिती फक्त प्रकल्प न राहाता एक भावनिक बंध जुळले जातात. प्रेक्षकांच्या प्रतिक्रियांनी आम्हाला नव्याने ऊर्जा दिली आहे. या चित्रपटामध्ये हृदयस्पर्शी कथा आणि परिश्रमांची गुंफण आहे. यशाच्या या टप्प्यावर पोहोचताना आमच्या संपूर्ण टीमने ज्या श्रद्धेने काम केले, ती प्रेक्षकांपर्यंत पोहोचल्याचे आज सिद्ध झाले आहे.”

निर्माते अमोल भगत यांनी यशाबद्दल प्रतिक्रिया देताना म्हटले, '' जारण’सारखा आशयघन सिनेमा प्रेक्षकांपर्यंत पोहोचवताना आम्हाला प्रचंड आत्मिक समाधान मिळत आहे. हे यश म्हणजे आमच्यावर असलेल्या विश्वासाची पोचपावती आहे. प्रेक्षकांसाठी अशाच आशयप्रधान, अर्थपूर्ण आणि भावनिक कथा घेऊन आम्ही नक्कीच येऊ.’’

अनिस बाझमी प्रॉडक्शन्स प्रस्तुत, ए अँड एन सिनेमाज एलएलपी यांच्या सहयोगाने आणि एथ्री इव्हेंट्स अँड मिडिया सर्व्हिसेस निर्मित ‘जारण’ चित्रपटाचं लेखन आणि दिग्दर्शन हृषीकेश गुप्ते यांनी केलं आहे. तर निर्मितीची जबाबदारी अमोल भगत आणि नितीन भालचंद्र कुलकर्णी यांनी सांभाळली असून मनन दानिया सहनिर्माता आहेत. या चित्रपटात अमृता सुभाष व अनिता दाते यांच्यासह किशोर कदम, ज्योती माळशे, विक्रम गायकवाड, राजन भिसे, अवनी जोशी आणि सीमा देशमुख यांचा दमदार अभिनय अनुभवायला मिळतो.

The Government of India launched Operation Sindhu on 18th June as a major rescue initiative to evacuate Indian nationals stranded in West Asia amid rising tensions between Israel and Iran. As of 28th June, a total of 4,415 Indian citizens have been safely brought back home from conflict-affected areas in Iran and Israel.

The large-scale evacuation was carried out through 19 special flights, including three Indian Air Force (IAF) C-17 aircraft. In a gesture of regional solidarity, the Government of India also extended humanitarian assistance to citizens from neighboring countries. Among those evacuated from Iran were 14 OCI cardholders, 9 Nepali nationals, 4 Sri Lankan nationals, and 1 Iranian spouse of an Indian national.

According to an official statement by the MEA, Indian embassies in Tehran, Yerevan, and Ashgabat coordinated closely to facilitate the safe passage of evacuees, including via land border crossings. The majority of evacuations from Iran were routed through Mashhad. From 18th to 26th June, a total of 3,597 Indian nationals which included students, workers, professionals, pilgrims, and fishermen from over 15 Indian states, were repatriated from Yerevan, Ashgabat, and Mashhad through 15 special evacuation flights.

The operation in Israel commenced on 23rd June. Indian missions in Tel Aviv, Ramallah, Amman, and Cairo coordinated with host governments to enable the movement of Indian nationals across land borders into Jordan and Egypt. The MEA reported that between 22nd and 25th June, a total of 818 Indian nationals were evacuated, comprising students, workers, and professionals, via four evacuation flights, including three IAF C-17 aircraft, from Amman and Sharm El Sheikh.

The Government of India reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of Indian citizens abroad. It also expressed deep gratitude to the governments of Iran, Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Armenia, and Turkmenistan for their cooperation and support during the operation. The MEA further stated that Indian diplomatic missions will continue to remain actively engaged with local authorities and Indian communities across Iran, Israel, and the broader West Asia region to monitor and respond to any emerging developments.

From rejection to a powerful breakout performance, Aditi Shetty’s journey into Rana Naidu Season 2 is nothing short of inspiring. And Tasneem is just the beginning

Actress Aditi Shetty is winning hearts as the fierce and fearless Tasneem in Rana Naidu Season 2, a role that has marked a transformative moment in her career. But her journey into the world of action, strength, and powerful screen presence didn’t begin with success—it started with rejection.

“I had auditioned for Rana Naidu Season 1 for the character Mandira, and didn’t get it. So when Season 2 came around, I just wanted to give it a shot without overthinking” Aditi recalls ” I was told this new character is one of the strongest female characters in the show — a young woman who stands up to Rana, has a proper face-off scene with him, and earns his respect by the end. This role intrigued me”

Playing Tasneem wasn’t just about acting—it demanded a complete physical and mental transformation. “Tasneem is a stuntwoman, so my body had to look like that,” Aditi explains. “I’ve always been into fitness but I started strength training intently to build muscle. I also adjusted my diet to gain strength without losing too much weight”

When she first met the directors, Karan Anshuman and Suparn Verma, the vision for the character was immediately clear. “We discussed changes to my look for this character, since Tasneem is a small-town, rough, raw girl who works in a stunt studio full of men. The attire would be tank tops and loose trousers—not the usual girlie clothes. The character would be sporty and fit”

Even her speech and demeanour were reworked. “They told me how to slow down my speech, be dominating and own my space — like a cat. Watch how a cat moves, its awareness, and how it takes its own space. That stayed with me”

Aditi’s first shoot day was meant to be a small entry scene—but the anticipation was overwhelming. “I had just two lines, but I was nervous — the whole cast was there, and I wanted to prove I belonged. I sat in my vanity for 12 hours rehearsing the same two lines in the mirror repeatedly with focus. But that day, the scene didn’t happen due to delays. By the time I shot it the next day, all the nerves had calmed down — and I could deliver with confidence”

One of the biggest moments for Aditi was a confrontation scene with the show’s lead, Rana Daggubati. “Very early on, I had the big scene with Rana — in Episode 7 — where Tasneem questions him for being controlling. I was super nervous because… It’s Mr. Rana Daggubati. But Karan sir patiently rehearsed the scene with me. When we did the final take, I was calm and confident. Later, I got good feedback from Rana and Suparn sir. That appreciation made me happy. That same day, legendary filmmaker Rajamouli was on set. “I didn’t get to meet him, but I remember being on set manifesting — one day, I want to work with him”

For Aditi, the stunt work was entirely new territory. “I had never done stunts before, but for my introduction scene, I had to do a backflip on a harness. I trained with Geeta Tandon, one of Bollywood’s top stuntwomen, who taught me everything. The entire team — from ADs to action directors — was so encouraging. The experience of doing my stunt work—kicks, flips, harnesses—was unforgettable”

Veteran actors Venkatesh Sir and Abhishek often stepped in to guide her. ”They would kindly show me how to do the scenes better and I just followed them. Conversations with Sushant Singh were inspiring—I learnt so much from him. He’s a great human being”

The camaraderie on set was equally memorable. “Everyone had each other’s backs. It was magical. We all used to hang out together. I was nervous at first, but everyone just welcomed me in. We were cracking jokes and spending time. The on-set time was always lively and warm. During the scenes, we would end up pranking each other and having a lot of fun. Everyone on set was a treat to be around — no egos, just good work”

Aditi holds special admiration for the team behind Rana Naidu. ”Karan, Suparn, and Abhay were dream directors for my OTT debut and absolutely the best. They were extremely supportive and motivating. Now that the season is out, I am so grateful for their support and faith in me”

Reflecting on the role, she shares, “Tasneem is so different from me. She’s a strong personality — unhinged. And honestly — this experience, these people, this role — it wasn’t just work. It was a blessing”

As the love pours in from fans, Aditi is more motivated than ever. ”I’ve been getting a lot of love from the audience and I’m honestly grateful and happy for this. Waiting to work harder, deliver more such roles, and explore opportunities”

सावरकर दर्शन प्रतिष्ठानच्या वतीने स्वातंत्र्यवीर सावरकर लिखित 'संगीत संन्यस्त खड्ग' हे नाटक नव्या स्वरूपात रंगमंचावर येत असून त्याचा  शुभारंभाचा प्रयोग ८ जुलै रोजी सायं. ६.३० वाजता  रवींद्र नाट्य मंदिर येथे होत आहे, अशी माहिती प्रतिष्ठानचे सचिव व  या नाटकाचे निर्माते रवींद्र  माधव  साठे यांनी पत्रकार परिषदेत दिली. 

स्व. सुधीर फडके यांनी स्थापन केलेली सावरकर दर्शन प्रतिष्ठान ही संस्था स्वा. सावरकरांच्या विचारांचा प्रचार व प्रसार करत असून याचाच एक भाग म्हणून हे नाटक पुन्हा रंगभूमीवर आणत आहोत. सावरकरांचे विचार, साहित्य आजच्या पिढी पुढे आणणे हे आमचे  मुख्य उद्दिष्ट्य आहे. हे नाटक कालसुसंगत आहे म्हणूनच याचे महाराष्ट्रभर १०० प्रयोग करण्याचा आमचा मानस आहे आणि त्याकरिता तिकीटदर ३०० /२००/१०० सर्वसामान्यांना परवडतील असे ठेवण्यात आल्याचे रवींद्र  माधव साठे यांनी सांगितले. हे नाटक नव्या पिढीतील तरूण  सादर करत आहेत असेही साठे यांनी सांगितले. 

नाट्यसंपदा कला मंचाचे अनंत पणशीकर हे नाटकाचे सहनिर्माते असून मराठी रंगभूमीवरील प्रसिद्ध कलाकार व दिग्दर्शक ऋषीकेश जोशी यांनी नाटकाची रंगावृत्ती आणि दिग्दर्शन केले आहे.  संगीत कौशल इनामदार यांचे आहे.  

या नाटकाचे सहनिर्माते अनंत पणशीकर यावेळी म्हणाले,‘सावरकरांचे भाषासौंदर्य आणि त्यांच्या लेखांतून दर्शवणारी भव्य दृकश्राव्यता मला कायम भुरळ घालते. हे नाटक त्याचं उत्तम उदाहरण आहे. व्यावसायिक गणित मांडताना आम्हाला सावरकर  प्रतिष्ठानची खूप मदत झाली.  

‘अहिंसेचे तत्वज्ञान’ आणि ‘राष्ट्रहित’ यातील द्वंद्व म्हणजे 'संगीत संन्यस्त खड्ग' हे नाटक. अडीच हजार वर्षांपूर्वी सांगितलेले या नाटकातले विचार आजही अगदी तंतोतंत खरे ठरतात. ते  विचार, आदर्श या नाटकातून नवीन पिढीपर्यंत पोहचवण्याचा आमचा निर्धार असल्याचे दिग्दर्शक ऋषीकेश जोशी यांनी यावेळी सांगितले.  

मयुरा रानडे, ओंकार कुलकर्णी, केतकी चैतन्य, ओमप्रकाश शिंदे आणि ऋषिकेश जोशी आदि कलाकारांचा या नाटकात समावेश आहे. भव्य आणि आकर्षक सेट्स, देखणी वेशभूषा, कलाकारांचा अभिनय आणि सावरकरांचे तेजस्वी विचार ही 'संगीत संन्यस्त खड्ग'  या नाटकाची वैशिष्ट्ये  आहेत. 

१९३१ साली मा. दीनानाथ मंगेशकर यांनी हे नाटक रंगमंचावर आणले होते. यातील  'शतजन्म शोधताना’, ‘मर्मबंधातली ठेव ही’ , ‘सुकतात ही जगी या’.. अशी गाणी स्वतः दीनानाथांनी आपल्या गायकीने आणि संगीताने  अजरामर केली आहेत. 

८ जुलै १९१० रोजी  स्वा. सावरकरांनी मार्सेलिस येथे ब्रिटिश जहाजातून जगप्रसिध्द उडी मारली होती. या  दिवसाचे औचित्य साधून प्रतिष्ठानने ८ जुलै रोजी शुभारंभाचा प्रयोग योजला आहे. हे नाटक नव्या स्वरूपात व्यावसायिक रंगमंचावर येत असून  देशात जिथे जिथे  मराठी समाज आहे तेथे हे नाटक पोहोचेल. याचे  १०० प्रयोग करण्याचा प्रतिष्ठानचा  संकल्प आहे, असे प्रतिपादन  रवींद्र साठे यांनी केले. 

नेपथ्य - संदेश बेंद्रे, प्रकाशयोजना- अमोघ फडके, नृत्ये - सोनिया परचुरे, वेशभूषा- मयूरा रानडे, रंगभूषा- श्रीकांत देसाई  यांची आहे.  सूत्रधार दिपक गोडबोले आहेत. या नाटकास अधिकाधिक लोकांनी प्रतिसाद  द्यावा असे आवाहन प्रतिष्ठानच्या वतीने करण्यात आले आहे.

तन्वी फिल्म्स प्रस्तुत ‘गाडी नंबर १७६०’ या चित्रपटाचा ट्रेलर नुकताच प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीला आला असून, त्यातील रहस्य, ट्विस्ट्स आणि टर्न्समुळे प्रेक्षकांची उत्सुकता शिगेला पोहोचली आहे. ट्रेलरमध्ये वेधक दृश्यांबरोबरच एक खास गोष्ट लक्ष वेधून घेते, ती म्हणजे ज्येष्ठ अभिनेत्री सुहास जोशी यांचे ॲक्शन सीन्स. ७७ वर्षीय सुहास जोशी या चित्रपटात महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिकेत झळकणार असून विशेष म्हणजे काही ॲक्शन सीन्स त्यांनी स्वतः साकारले आहेत. 

याबद्दल सुहास जोशी म्हणतात, ''वय कितीही असो, जेव्हा भूमिका मनापासून आवडते, तेव्हा तिच्यात पूर्णपणे झोकून देणं गरजेचं वाटतं. ‘गाडी नंबर १७६०’ मधील माझी भूमिका वेगळी आहे आणि त्यासाठी ॲक्शन सीन करणे हा एक नवीन आणि  उत्साही अनुभव होता. मनातली जिद्द आणि अभिनयावरील प्रेम हेच मला पुन्हा कॅमेऱ्यासमोर घेऊन येतं. टीमचा पाठिंबा आणि वातावरण इतकं सकारात्मक होतं की, ॲक्शन सीन करायला भीतीच वाटली नाही.”

दिग्दर्शक म्हणतात, ‘’ सुहास मॅडम म्हणजे एक प्रेरणा आहेत. त्यांच्या वयाचा विचार करता आम्ही बॉडी डबल वापरण्याचा पर्याय ठेवला होता. पण त्यांनी तो साफ नाकारला. ‘मी स्वतः अ‍ॅक्शन सीन करणार.’ त्यांच्या आवाजात इतका आत्मविश्वास होता की आम्हाला काही क्षण अवाक व्हायला झालं. या वयातही त्यांची ऊर्जा, मेहनतीची तयारी आणि कामाबद्दलचा आदर पाहून आम्हा सर्वांना एक नवीच प्रेरणा मिळाली. खरंच, त्या आमच्यासाठी केवळ एक अभिनेत्री नाहीत, तर एक आदर्श आहेत.”

या चित्रपटाचे निर्माते कैलाश सोराडी आणि विमला सोराडी असून, लेखन व दिग्दर्शनाची धुरा योगिराज संजय गायकवाड यांनी सांभाळली आहे. प्रथमेश परब, शुभंकर तावडे, प्रियदर्शिनी इंदलकर, सुहास जोशी, प्रसाद खांडेकर, श्रीकांत यादव आणि शशांक शेंडे यांच्या प्रमुख भूमिका असलेला हा चित्रपट येत्या ४ जुलै रोजी प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीला येणार आहे.

सुहास जोशींच्या अशा समर्पणातून त्यांची अभिनयावरील निष्ठा अधोरेखित होते आणि नव्या पिढीसमोरही एक प्रेरणादायी उदाहरण ठरते. आता चित्रपटात त्यांची नेमकी भूमिका काय असेल, हे पाहाणं औत्सुक्याचं ठरणार आहे.
