‘वाळवी’च्या खास अॅाफरला प्रेक्षकांचा तुफान प्रतिसाद
प्रेक्षकांकडून भरभरून मिळणाऱ्या प्रतिसादाबद्दल झी स्टुडिओजचे बिजनेस हेड मंगेश कुलकर्णी म्हणतात, ‘’ दुसऱ्या आठवड्यातही प्रेक्ष

झी स्टुडिओज, आनंद एल. राय आणि भूषण कुमार या तीन दिग्गजांना एकत्र आणणारा पहिला मराठी चित्रपट म्हणजे ‘आत्मपँफ्लेट’. या चित्रपटाचे लेखन राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार विजेते परेश मोकाशी यांनी केले असून नवोदित दिग्दर्शक आशिष बेंडे यांनी या चित्रपटाचे दिग्दर्शन केले आहे. आंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तरावर ओळखल्या जाणाऱ्या चित्रपटांच्या विस्तीर्ण यादीत झी स्टुडिओजने आणखी एका चित्रपटाची भर घातली आहे. ७३ व्या बर्लिन आंतरराष्ट्रीय चित्रपट महोत्सवात ‘जनरेशन १४ प्लस' स्पर्धा प्रकारात या चित्रपटाची निवड झाली आहे. हरिश्चंद्राची फॅक्टरी (२००९) आणि नुकताच प्रदर्शित झालेला 'वाळवी' (२०२३) यांसारख्या चित्रपटांचे लेखन आणि दिग्दर्शन करणाऱ्या परेश मोकाशी यांनी ‘आत्मपँफ्लेट’चे लेखन केले आहे. तेराव्या शिकागो साऊथ एशियन फिल्म फेस्टिव्हलमध्ये ‘वाळवी’ने सर्वोत्कृष्ट चित्रपटाचा पुरस्कार पटकावला असून ‘वाळवी’ला प्रेक्षकांकडून भरभरून प्रतिसाद मिळत आहे. थ्रिलकॅाम हा नवीन जॅानर प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीला आणल्यानंतर झी स्टुडिओज, परेश मोकाशी आणि आशिष बेंडे हे ‘वाळवी’चे त्रिकुट पुन्हा एकदा एक दर्जेदार आशय घेऊन सज्ज झाले आहे. ‘आत्मपँफ्लेट’ हा चित्रपट एका तरुण मुलाभोवती फिरणारा आहे, जो त्याच्या क्लासमेटच्या प्रेमात पडतो. ही एकतर्फी प्रेमाची हृदयस्पर्शी कहाणी आहे, जी त्याच्या भोवतालच्या नाट्यमय सामाजिक-राजकीय बदलांच्या पलीकडे जाणारी आहे. ओम बेंडखळे, प्रांजली श्रीकांत भीमराव मुडे आणि केतकी सराफ यांच्या या चित्रपटात महत्त्वाच्या भूमिका आहेत.
दिग्दर्शक आशिष अविनाश बेंडे म्हणतात, '' हा माझ्या आयुष्यातील सर्वात मोठा दिवस आहे. चित्रपट निर्मितीची आवड जोपासण्याचा माझा प्रवास कॉलेजमध्ये असतानाच सुरू झाला आणि जगातील सर्वात मोठ्या फिल्म फेस्टिव्हलमध्ये माझी निवड झाल्याने माझ्या दिग्दर्शनाच्या पहिल्या चळवळीने शिखर गाठले आहे. सिनेमाबद्दल बोलायचं झालं तर, ही प्रक्रिया माझ्यासाठी रोलरकोस्टर राइड ठरली आहे. कोरोना महामारी, लॉकडाऊनसह अनेक आव्हाने असतानाही, माझ्या टीममधील प्रत्येकाने मनापासून काम केले आणि त्याचा परिणाम आता सर्वांनाच पाहायला मिळत आहे. जगात अनेक ठिकाणी युद्धं होत असतानाच हा चित्रपट प्रेम पसरवण्यावर भाष्य करणारा आहे.''
या अविश्वसनीय कामगिरीबद्दल आनंद व्यक्त करताना निर्माते आनंद एल राय म्हणाले, "प्रादेशिक जागतिक स्तरावर जाणं आणि विशेषत: प्रतिष्ठेच्या बर्लिन चित्रपट महोत्सवात स्थान मिळवणं, हे खूप चांगलं आहे. ‘आत्मपँफ्लेट’चा भाग होणं, हा एक जबरदस्त अनुभव आहे. कलर यलो प्रॉडक्शनसाठी हा खास चित्रपट आहे.''

आयएफएफआर २०२३ मध्ये 'जोरम'ची अधिकृत निवड, बर्लिनल मार्केट सिलेक्ट्स २०२३ मध्ये 'ब्राऊन'ची निवड आणि शिकागो साऊथ एशियन फिल्म फेस्टिव्हलमध्ये 'लॉस्ट' प्रदर्शित झाल्यानंतर आणि गेल्या वर्षी सप्टेंबरमध्ये झालेल्या सर्वोत्कृष्ट फिचर फिल्मचा पुरस्कार मिळाल्यानंतर झी स्टुडिओज सातत्याने जागतिक स्तरावर मान्यता प्राप्त होणारा आशय तयार करत आहे.
