Originally sung by the legendary Lata Mangeshkar and Shabbir Kumar with music composed by the renowned duo Laxmikant Pyarelal, the new rendition of "Zihaal-E-Miskin" promises to captivate audiences and evoke a renewed sense of longing.
 
The new version of "Zihaal-E-Miskin" has been crafted by the popular music composer duo Javed Mohsin, who has infused the song with a modern sensibility while maintaining the poetic essence of the original in the soulful voices of Vishal Mishra and Shreya Ghoshal. The heartfelt lyrics penned by the esteemed Gulzar have also been given a fresh interpretation by the talented lyricist Kunaal Verma in this revamped rendition.
 
In addition to the mesmerizing music, the accompanying music video adds a visual dimension to the heartfelt narrative. Shot in the breathtakingly arid landscapes of Jodhpur, the video pays homage to the original video in the film, creating a powerful connection between the past and the present. Starring Nimrit Ahluwalia, a popular finalist from the reality show Big Boss 2023, and the immensely popular digital content creator and influencer Rohit Zinjurke, the music video perfectly captures the emotional weight and grandeur associated with the song.

Elected Representatives Fellowship Programme Cohort 4, Mumbai 2022-23

We are happy to share the journey of Praja's Elected Representatives (ER) Fellowship 2022-23, Cohort-4 fellows of Mumbai. The dedication and unwavering enthusiasm of fellows throughout the program has truly been commendable. The fellowship provided them with a unique opportunity to learn about grassroots governance. They gained valuable experience and understanding of the roles and responsibilities of Elected Representatives. The Fellows also got an opportunity to be a part of the National level youth festival-Prajatantra 2022-23 held in collaboration with the National Institute of Urban Affairs under G20, U20, and Y20 initiatives. We are delighted to see how this fellowship has inspired these young individuals to become agents of change. Their growth throughout the fellowship is truly noteworthy. To honor the remarkable accomplishments of the 17 fellows, who successfully dedicated around 11,500 hours, a Felicitation Programme was organized on April 1st, 2023. 'Ajmer Files' - Is now a Film!

A collaborative project between Tips Films & Abhishek Dudhaiya has moved from web series to a theatrical release.

Originally the collaboration started as a web series between Tips Films Ltd. and Abhishek Dudhaiya, but Ajmer Files will be made into a feature film and released in theatres. With audiences' preference for theatres to experience stories on a larger-than-life scale, many filmmakers are choosing to tell their stories through the silver screen.

This fictionalized film is an interpretation of the real-life events of the 1992 Ajmer rape and blackmail scandal that had gripped the nation in fear & horror. The makers of the film felt it was apt for a release on the silver screen with the interesting storyline and the cast considered bringing it to life.

Kumar Taurani - MD & Chairman of Tips Industries Limited, said, "From a strategic point of view, this is an amazing opportunity for us since the audiences are hungry to experience movies in theatres as it provides an opportunity to move beyond the doors of office & home. We are happy to be co-producing the film with Abhishek Dudhaiya. The storyline is carefully crafted to duplicate real-life events."

Further expanding on the film and the association, Abhishek Dudhaiya said, “This is our first co-production with Tips Films. We’re happy and excited to work on Ajmer Files. The scripting is almost complete and the story is very touching to the core. Now that this is being made for the big screen, I have no doubts that it will captivate the audience.”

निर्देशक सुदीप्तो सेन की फिल्म 'द केरल स्टोरीज' को लेकर पश्चिम बंगाल में सियासत अभी शांत भी नहीं हुई थी कि अब वहां पर एक और हिंदी फिल्म पर बवाल मचने के संकेत मिले हैं। दरअसल, अब पश्चिम बंगाल पुलिस के निशाने पर फिल्म 'द डायरी ऑफ वेस्ट बंगाल' के निर्देशक सनोज मिश्रा आ गए हैं। बंगाल पुलिस ने निर्देशक पर राज्य को बदनाम करने का आरोप लगाते हुए उनके खिलाफ एक नोटिस जारी किया है।

के ट्वीट के हवाले से यह पता लगा है कि पश्चिम बंगाल पुलिस ने 'द डायरी ऑफ वेस्ट बंगाल' के निर्देशक को नोटिज जारी किया है। एनएनआई के ट्वीट के मुताबिक, 'पश्चिम बंगाल पुलिस ने हिंदी फिल्म द डायरी ऑफ वेस्ट बंगाल के निर्देशक सनोज मिश्रा को नोटिस जारी कर आरोप लगाया है कि निर्देशक इस फिल्म से बंगाल को बदनाम करने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं।'

इन धाराओं के तहत जारी हुआ नोटिस

'द डायरी ऑफ वेस्ट बंगाल' के निदेशक सनोज मिश्रा को 30 मई को पश्चिम बंगाल के एमहर्स्ट स्ट्रीट पीएस में पूछताछ के लिए सीआरपीसी की धारा 41ए के तहत नोटिस दिया गया है। इस फिल्म को लेकर आईपीसी की विभिन्न धाराओं, आईटी एक्ट और सिनेमैटोग्राफी एक्ट के तहत एफआईआर दर्ज की गई है। अब देखना यह होगा कि इस मामले में आगे क्या होता है।
