The makers of Vikram The Ghost launched the teaser of the action intense drama which is set in contemporary times. 

The film is a celebration of action and shows how an ex-Interpol officer turns into an unstoppable killing machine when he is provoked, especially when his family is dragged into the picture.

अक्षय बर्दापूरकर प्रस्तुत मृणाल कुलकर्णी दिग्दर्शित 'सहेला रे' वेबचित्रपटाचा ट्रेलर नुकताच प्रदर्शित झाला असून काळाच्या विळख्याआड हरवून गेलेल्या 'ती' च्या अस्तित्वाला मैत्रीच्या हळुवार झुळकीने पुन्हा जिवंत करून, एक नवीन संजीवनी देणाऱ्या 'ती' च्या आयुष्याची कथा सांगणारा चित्रपट म्हणजे 'सहेला रे'. मृणाल कुलकर्णी, सुबोध भावे आणि सुमित राघवन यांच्या परिपक्व नात्यातील विविध छटा यात पाहायला मिळणार आहेत. दरम्यान या वेबचित्रपटातील 'रे मनाला' हे मनाला भिडणारे गाणेदेखील नुकतेच प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीला आले असून या गाण्याला आदर्श शिंदे यांचा बहारदार आवाज लाभला आहे. मनातील चलबिचल व्यक्त करणाऱ्या या गाण्याचे बोल वैभव जोशी यांचे आहेत. तर सलील कुलकर्णी यांनी या गाण्याला संगीतबद्ध केले आहे. 

आयुष्यात कौटुंबिक जबाबदाऱ्या पार पाडताना एकमेकांना गृहीत धरता धरता नात्यातील हरवून गेलेला गोडवा पुन्हा मिळवण्यासाठीची 'ती'ची धडपड ट्रेलरमधून दिसत आहे. या धडपडीत तिला तिचे अस्तित्व गवसेल का, याचे उत्तर 'सहेला रे' पाहिल्यावरच मिळेल. 

चित्रपटाबद्दल मृणाल कुलकर्णी म्हणतात, " काही अनुकूल परिस्थिमुळे आयुष्याच्या परिघापलीकडे लोटली गेलेली माणसे जेव्हा पुन्हा आयुष्यात परतात, तेव्हा होणारी मनाची चलबिचल एका क्षणात भूतकाळात नेऊन उभी करते आणि त्यातूनच मग तिला तिचा स्वतःचा शोध लागतो. नात्यातील परिपक्वता यात अधोरेखित करण्यात आली आहे. हा एक कौटुंबिक चित्रपट आहे, जो वास्तववादी आहे. प्रत्येकाच्या आयुष्यात अगदी अशाच पद्धतीने नाही परंतु थोड्याफार प्रमाणात असे क्षण येतात. 'प्लॅनेट मराठी'च्या सोबतीने हा चित्रपट आता प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीस येत आहे. मला आशा आहे, 'सहेला रे' नक्कीच प्रेक्षकांच्या पसंतीस उतरेल.''

ज्वेलर्सचे व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक श्री. टी एस कल्याणरामन यांना ‘अखिल भारतीय जेम्स अँड ज्वेलरी कौन्सिलच्या २०२२ च्या राष्ट्रीय ज्वेलरी अवॉर्ड्स’ मध्ये 'अनमोल रत्न' पुरस्काराने सन्मानित करण्यात आले. व्यवसायाप्रती असलेला त्यांचा अग्रगण्य दृष्टिकोन आणि कल्याण ज्वेलर्स या ब्रँडला नव्या उंचीवर घेऊन जाणारा महत्त्वाकांक्षी उद्योजकीय भाव यासाठी त्यांना हा सन्मान प्रदान करण्यात आला.

Speaking about working with such an ensemble cast, Barkha Shared, “I find myself very lucky to be a part of a film like Maja Maa and share screen space with Madhuri Dixit, Sheeba Chaddha, Rajit Kapur and Gajraj Rao. Anand Tiwari was such a visionary captain of the ship. They all are so experienced and have such an amazing body of work behind them. When I got over the initial jitters, I learnt a lot by observing them. They were very sweet to give timely advice and tips on how you can read and interpret a scene better.”

The actress further added, “When we were shooting outside Mumbai, we would do dinners, movies and they would bring little gifts for us if they found something interesting. We were like a big family. I have learnt a lot about my craft and myself on this film. It’s been a phenomenal experience.”

Kriti Sanon’s sister Nupur Sanon will soon make a splash on the big screen with her Bollywood debut ‘Noorani Chehra’ opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The talented actress has already amassed millions of fans and followers with her two music videos ‘Filhall’ and ‘Filhall 2’ wherein she played the female lead opposite Akshay Kumar. Nupur garnered immense praise for her acting chops and her traditional styling in the music videos turned out to be trendsetter in Indian fashion. ‘Filhaal 2’ featured a wedding sequence wherein Nupur dressed as a quintessential Indian bride. Her demure bridal look became the talk of the town and many Indian brides took cues from her outfit for wedding styling. The beautiful rose coloured outfit was created by designer duo Jigar and Nikita from Bindani and the brief they were given was to make her look ‘fresher and young’.

Jigar shares the intricate details that went into creating the perfect outfit for Nupur, “Since we had to give Nupur a fresh new look, we chose a pastel old rose fabric with toned down, dull gold embellishments, and added a touch of darker resham colour to give it a bridal look. We added a tonal head dupatta, and accentuated the blouse with danglings hanging from the waist to make the entire set apt for a modern day bride.”

On working with Nupur, Nikita says, “Nupur is one of the most affable personalities we have come across. She instantly approved of the bridal lehenga and carried it with utmost elegance. Working with her on ‘Filhall 2’ was a delightful experience.”

The co-production with Renaissance Pictures is set to go on floors in November 2022

Fresh from the success of its first Telugu-Hindi Bilingual, Major, Sony Pictures International Productions is set to celebrate the might of India once more with Mega Prince Varun Tej starrer action drama inspired by India’s Air Force. He is known for his work in Telugu Cinema and will be making his debut in the Hindi Film Industry with this feature. He rose to fame with Kanche (2015) directed by Krish which earned a lot of recognition.

Based on true events, this untitled film is a patriotic, edge-of-the-seat entertainer, and will showcase the indomitable spirits of our heroes on the frontlines and the challenges they face as they fight one of the biggest, fiercest aerial attacks that India has ever seen.

Speaking about the film Varun Tej said, “I am honoured to have received the opportunity to play the role of an Indian Air Force Officer and celebrate their valour on the big screen. Partnering with global giant Sony Pictures International Productions, Sandeep Mudda and director Shakti Pratap Singh Hada, we strive to make a film that we hope will be a perfect tribute to the Indian Air Force. The script for this film provides a challenge to break out of my previous roles.  As an (IAF)officer, my character has layers that will be interesting for me to showcase in this film. I will be undergoing immense training and I am excited to see how the audiences react to this one.

Produced by Sony Pictures International Productions and Rennaisance Pictures, the film will be directed by Shakti Pratap Singh Hada– a seasoned ad-film maker, cinematographer and VFX aficionado who will also be seen marking his directorial debut with this film. Written by 

Shakti Pratap Singh Hada, Aamir Khan and Siddharth Raj Kumar, the movie will be shot in Telugu and Hindi simultaneously and is expected to go on floors by the end of this year and will have a global release in 2023.
