CFOs Forum in Mumbai -An exclusive job portal for the CA community was launched as part of the Forum www.placement.icai.org
MUMBAI/NEW DELHI - The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the regulator, educator and standard setter of the profession in India organized a one day CFOs event on 31st August, in Mumbai. The event was a gathering of CFOs from top corporates houses in the country and deliberated and brainstormed on vibrant and relevant topics along with the latest developments and challenges faced by the profession.
The forum featured brainstorming and deliberations on vibrant and relevant topics such as “Increasingly CFO is seen next only to CEO” and “Role of CFO in VUCA world”. Panelists included high profile eminent personalities from the industry like, CA. Keki Mistry, Vice Chairman & CEO, HDFC, CA. Ullas Kamath, Jt. MD, Jyothy Laboratories, CA. Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, RPG Group, CA. Vikas Khemani, President & CEO, Edelweiss Securities Ltd., CA. Ramesh Swaminathan, CFO & Whole Time Director, Lupin Ltd. CA, B.R. Jaju, CFO, D B Power Ltd., CA. Nagesh Pinge, Independent Director, over 500 CFOs from the industry attended the event.

As part of the event, an exclusive job portal for the CA community was also launched. The portal will, go live from 1st September onwards and help chartered accountants as well as hiring organizations give a more robust and safe platform for the whole hiring process and experience.
Committee also handed over the keys to the Start-ups of the members of the institute during the event and providing them basic infrastructure facility at INCUBATION CENTRE, ICAI Bhawan, BKC, Mumbai and releasing few publications on GST and Awards Brochures.
