विविध भारतीय भाषांमध्ये गाणी गायलेली गोड गळ्याची गायिका सावनी रविंद्र आता नवरात्री निमित्ताने आपल्या चाहत्यांसाठी गुजराती रास-गरबा गाण्याची एक सुरेल भेट घेऊन आली आहे. मराठीशिवाय हिंदी, तमिळ, तेलुगु ह्या भाषांमध्ये गाणी गायल्यावर आता सावनीने पहिल्यांदाच गुजरातीत गाणे गायले आहे. राधा-कृष्णाच्या अलौकिक प्रेमाला समर्पित ‘कानुडा’ हे भक्तीपर रास-गरबा गाणे रिलीज झाले आहे.   

‘सावनी ओरीजीनल्स’ या तिच्या म्युजीकल सिरीजमधील हे तिसरे गाणे आहे. सावनी सांगते, “आमच्या घरी घट बसतात. आई नऊ दिवस उपवास करते. प्रत्येक दिवसाचा वेगळा नैवेद्य असतो. ह्या नऊ दिवसांतून एक वेगळीच उर्जा वर्षभरासाठी आपल्याला मिळते. त्यामुळे मला नवरात्रोत्सव खूप आवडतो. मी वेगवेगळ्या भाषांमध्ये गाणी गायली. पण गुजराती गाणे गाण्याची इच्छा अपूर्ण होती. रास-गरब्याच्या ह्या गाण्याने ती पूर्ण झाली.”

सावनी ह्या गाण्यात रास-गरबा करतानाही दिसत आहे. पहिल्यांदाच आपल्या म्युझिक व्हिडीयोमध्ये तिने डान्स-मुव्ज केल्या आहेत. ह्याविषयी विचारल्यावर सावनी म्हणते, “गायक असल्याने लहानपणापासून नवरात्रीमध्ये नेहमी गाणी गायली आहेत. गरबा केला नव्हता. आता ती इच्छा ही ह्या नव्या सिंगलव्दारे पूर्ण झाली.”

सावनी सांगते, “मी सोडून ह्या म्युझिक व्हिडीयोवर काम करणारी संपूर्ण टिम गुजरातीच आहे. ह्या गाण्याचे संगीतकार पार्थिव शाह आणि गीतकार प्रणव पांचाल आहेत. सह-गायक कौशल पिठाडिया हा अहमदाबादचा आहे. कौशलकडून मी गुजराती भाषेचा लहेजा शिकले. या गाण्याचे वैशिष्ठ्य म्हणजे दोन वेगवेगळ्या व्हॉइस टेक्सचर्समध्ये गाणे गायले आहे. गुजराती फोक गातानाचा ब्रॉड व्हाइस आणि माझा ओरिजनल आवाज अशा दोन वेगळ्या पध्दतीने एकाच गाण्यात गायलेय. पहिल्यांदाच मी लाइव इन्ट्रुमेंट्ससह गायले आहे.”

Spearheaded by Saurabh Daftary of  Sangeetam Charitable Trust, This year Ek pyaar ka nagma hai lyrics writer was awarded received an award a was received by Dabboo Malik ,also in the list were Vanraj Bhatia , Arun Das , Roshan Ali Khan Hafeez Khan ,Pradeep Laad and Sana  Aziz

5th September 2019 in Mumbai- This charitable music concert in its first year, raised funds for the legendary composer Khayyam & artist Rajendra Mehta. In the 2nd year, over 40 insurance policies were gifted to musicians & artists in need. 

Now, in its 7th year, the concert had Bollywood's melodious singers- Shaan, Ankit Tiwari & Papon on one platform to donate towards expenses of ailing and deprived community of Singers, Composers, Writers, Poets, Technicians etc. from the music & cultural fraternity. 

This glorious event was witnessed by the entire music industry, music lovers and the most eminent personalities of the city including Anup Jalota , Salim Suleman, Jeetu Shankar , Javed akthar , Sanjay Tandon, etc

Saurabh Daftary of  Sangeetam Charitable Trust said "We have been consistently donating towards this cause for the last seven years.  We propose to raise sponsorship in aid of "Sangeetam Charitable Trust", which has been extending financial support, to Artists from the music & cultural fraternity. We donate Food, Staying and Equipment towards young budding children approx. Rs. 80000/- per person & Help them train at Shri Suresh Wadkarji’s Ajivasan Studio. We help around 10-15 poor and needy children" 

The donor's names are decided by a panel of eminent personalities i.e.:- Padma Shri. Hariharan ji, Mr Anup Jalota, and Mr Saurabh Daftary.
