‘हिरकणी’ म्हटलं की सर्वप्रथम आठवते ते म्हणजे शाळेतील इतिहासाच्या पाठ्यपुस्तकातील गोष्ट आणि ती गोष्ट आता रुपेरी पडद्यावर पाहायला मिळणार यामुळे सर्वत्र केवळ ‘हिरकणी’चीच चर्चा चालू आहे. कोजागिरीच्या रात्री हिरकणीने तिच्या बाळाच्या भेटीसाठी रायगडाची खोल कडा उतरुन जाण्याचं धाडस केलं होतं. प्रेक्षकांना हिरकणीची झलक दाखवण्यासाठी कोजागिरीच्या निमित्ताने या चित्रपटाचा ट्रेलर नुकताच प्रदर्शित झाला आहे.

गोष्ट आहे रायगडाच्या पायथ्याशी राहणारी साधी गवळण हिरा उर्फ ‘हिरकणी’ या धाडसी आईची. सूर्यास्तानंतर गडाचे दरवाजे बंद झाल्यामुळे कोजागिरीच्या रात्री आई हिरकणी गडावर आणि लेकरु घरी एकटे असते.  आपले बाळ घरी एकटे असेल, भुकेले असेल या विचाराने व्याकूळ झालेली हिरकणी कोजागिरीच्या रात्री असा गड उतरुन खाली जाण्याची जोखीम उचलते ज्याचे वर्णन करण्यात आले आहे की, “जिथून फक्त पाणी खाली जाऊ शकते आणि वारा वर येऊ शकतउतरताना हिरकणीला कोणत्या-कोणत्या अडचणींचा सामना करावा लागतो याची झलक ट्रेलर मध्ये दाखवण्यात आली आहे. तसेच ‘हिरकणी’ची भूमिका अभिनेत्री सोनाली कुलकर्णीने अतिशय सुंदररित्या साकारली आहे. हिरकणीच्या चेह-यावरील आनंद, नाराजी, हास्य, काळजी, प्रेम सोनालीने खूप छान पध्दतीने दाखविल्या आहेत. अभिनेता अमित खेडेकरने ‘जीवा’ व्यक्तिरेखेची भूमिका साकारली आहे. ऐतिहासिक कथा, कलाकारांची नवीन जोडी, चित्रपटातील गाणी आदी गोष्टींमुळे ‘हिरकणी’ चित्रपटाविषयी उत्सुकता वाढणार यात मुळीच शंका नाही.

विशेष म्हणजे या चित्रपटाचा ट्रेलर माधुरी दीक्षित आणि अजय देवगण यांना देखील आवडला आणि  त्यांनी त्यांच्या सोशल मीडिया वर शेअर देखील केला.

प्रसाद ओक दिग्दर्शित ‘हिरकणी’ चित्रपटाचे लिखाण चिन्मय मांडलेकर यांनी केले आहे. मागीज पिक्चर्स यांच्या सहकार्याने इरादा एंटरटेनमेंटने या चित्रपटाची निर्मिती केली आहे. फाल्गुनी पटेल या निर्मात्या आणि लॉरेन्स डिसुझा हे सहनिर्माते आहेत. राजेश मापुस्कर हे क्रिएटिव्ह प्रोड्युसर आहेत. २४ ऑक्टोबरला दिवाळीची मनोरंजक भेट म्हणून ‘हिरकणी’ येतेय तुमच्या जवळच्या चित्रपटगृहात.

Nikki tamboli will be featuring in her 3rd south Indian movie called thippara Meesam. The star has earlier featured in movies such as Kanchana 3 and chikati radio chithakkotudu. She has done commendable work earlier in Kanchana 3 where she worked with the likes of Raghava master.

Nikki tamboli is a star in the making. Nikki will also be making her Bollywood debut soon but her next called Thippara Meesam will be releasing soon and that is on the 8th of November. It's a Telugu film and it will also be dubbed in Kannada. We spoke to the pretty actor and here is what she had to say, "it's a wonderful story and i have worked really hard on the movie. I am very glad for the release of the movie. We would be working on promotions of the movie soon. I can't wait to see the audience reaction to the movie super soon "

Mumbai, 30th September 2018; World renowned Indian Miniature artist Suvigya Sharma unveils 127 artworks at his art show ‘Reminiscence’ at the Kamalnayan Bajaj Art Gallery in Mumbai, today. The artist showcases the 2000-year-old art form, incorporated in pichhwais, Refined Tanjore's, Piqua’s & Life-Like Portraits, featuring miniature art in the form of pichhwais and mythological paintings on vintage stamp papers guilded in 24 Carat gold.

The highlights of the show are Shrinath Ji's Contemporary Pichhwais and Lord Krishna holding a 3 Dimensional Govardhan Parvat. Pichhwai are devotional pictures found on cloth or paper which portray Lord Krishna. The painting is a celebratory reminiscence depicting the supernatural act of Lord Krishna's eighth avatar- Lord Vishnu lifting Govardhan Parvat for 7 Days and Nights. This is as per the Hindu mythological story wherein the God of Heavens - Indra calls Samavartaka clouds for devastation to lash upon Vrindavan with torrents of rain and thunderstorms and cause extensive floods that would destroy the livelihood of the inhabitants. ‘Reminiscence’ is an epic saga, highlighting the Hindu pantheon and its timeless grace that sets the foundation for the aesthetics of modern contemporary art, worldwide.

The Pichhwais are made on ‘Elfh’ a patented mineral-based composition, a great substitute for Elephant Tusk or Ivory, prohibiting the use of natural bones. Painted in freshly prepared vegetable dyes, the artwork is gilded in 24-carat gold, reinstating the disciplines of “Bardashat ka Kaam” meaning the ‘Art of Tolerance’ as the technique is meticulously practiced under a Magnifying glass.

“Miniature paintings originated in India around 750 A.D and art is the base of all other painting art forms that have evolved in the contemporary art world over time. As one of the very few artists nurturing this art form, my constant endeavour is to take my artwork to modern chomes, so that the newer generations would be able to reminisce Indian culture and heritage”, says Suvigya. Suvigya is the world’s most disciplined miniature artist, to have practiced Traditional fine miniature art under the lineage of his father the legendary Fine Artist Mr. R. K. Sharma, descending from the masters of Nathdwara Shaili Miniature paintings. “The great news is that globally, every household that loves curating art likes to have pichhwais. The Govardhan parbat has a contemporary look in spite of being traditional in its concept and art form. The idea is to nurture this art and proliferate the legacy of indian art across the world. During my meeting with our Prime Minister, Narendra Modiji, he extended complete support to my cause and that has been my greatest inspiration. The aim is to create an art ecosystem for the weaker sections of the society through training and skill development”, he added.

 

The artist is known for creating some of the world’s most sophisticated and valuable personal collections, which are found in the residences of the most elite and respectable families globally including  Honourable. PM Shri Narendra Modi, the Ambanis, the Birlas, the Piramals and celebrities like Justin Bieber, Rani Mukherjee, Kangana Ranaut, Sachin Tendulkar and Sanjay Dutt.

 

Inaugurated on 30th September 2019, the exhibition is a week-long visual delight for art lovers in Mumbai, ending on 14th October, Saturday.

MedScapeIndia, an initiative of Aryan Medical and Educational Trust, a non-profit charitable trust working for community welfare since 2006, successfully concluded the prestigious MedscapeIndia National Awards for 8th consecutive year & celebrated 5 years of Fit India Moment. The theme of the evening was "Save the Girl Child" & "Women Empowerment" to celebrate International Girl Child Day.

MedScapeIndia launched "White Paper In Health Care" which will show the current health conditions of India, solutions, improvements & new technologies.  

MedScapeIndia signed MOE of 1 million patients of rural India to help the patients of remote areas.

The event witnessed the presence of International & National Doctors along with dignitaries from various walks of life Dr. Sunita Dube, Dr. Niraj Dube, Bombay Stock Exchange Chairman Ashish Chauhan, Legendary actress Asha Parekh, Designer Archana Kochhar, Rajashree Birla,  Sangram Singh, Dr. M.L. "IRONY IS, I AM PLAYING MY UNCLE DEV ANAND IN THE VERDICT" says Vaibhav Anand, nephew of Legendary Dev Anand.

It’s no coincidence that Vaibhav Anand was cast to play his uncle Dev Anand in his debut project The Verdict. 

Blame his looks, the ambitious actor was the first choice for the character. In fact, Vaibhav shares, when he first met the director Shashank Shah, he said "You are his image, no one can play him better than you" 

Insisting that his foray into the world of performing arts was not a flash-in-the-pan decision,  Vaibhav Anand said "I couldn’t keep myself away from what is in my DNA  and what I love so here I am chasing my dreams and burning the midnight oil to make them come true. The future is now starting and it is paying off. I’m getting to meet more directors and casting agents"

An avid believer of “Quality over Quantity” , Vaibhav Anand  says though he was looking for a good role to make a mark in the industry, he was fortunate to get The Verdict "I was auditioning for a role at Mehboob Studios when I dropped by on the shooting of the movie Kick to meet Salman Khan. Raja from Sajid Nadiadwala team saw me and liked my dedication and focus to this field &  suggested my name to Balaji and tech Web series Tarun, that's how I got this project"

When asked what made him say yes to the role, he explains "There was no reason to say no.  Shashank Shah had a vision. He had incorporated Dev Anand's iconic film 'Guide' and his take on women empowerment . The guide being ahead of Its time is also the story of Rosy who defies societal pressures and traditions to pursue her wishes, career, and happiness. Shashank wanted to show Dev Anand being instrumental in producing this idea through his film Guide. I want to recreate that in this story"

Anand, also plans to restore his family’s iconic preview theatre "Ketnav Theatre" to its former glory “I want to restore the modernist architecture of the ’70s. For most, Ketnav wasn’t a place of work, it was home.hey would say, ‘Ketnav mein milte hain, wahin baat karenge’,he says. That is why, apart from a preview theatre and an editing studio Anand also plans to open a coffee shop to also revive that tradition of banter and brainstorming"
