Producer Prabsimran Sandhu along with writer-director Vikram Sandhu invited guest and media for mahurat of romantic Hindi film MAHI at Future Studio, Goregaon East. The film is made under the banner of Divya Films Creatives.  Ali Asgar is playing Mama of Hero in this film.

It’s no coincidence that Vaibhav Anand was cast to play his uncle Dev Anand in his debut project The Verdict. 

Blame his looks, the ambitious actor was the first choice for the character. In fact, Vaibhav shares, when he first met the director Shashank Shah, he said "You are his image, no one can play him better than you" 

Insisting that his foray into the world of performing arts was not a flash-in-the-pan decision,  Vaibhav Anand said "I couldn’t keep myself away from what is in my DNA  and what I love so here I am chasing my dreams and burning the midnight oil to make them come true. The future is now starting and it is paying off. I’m getting to meet more directors and casting agents"

An avid believer of “Quality over Quantity” , Vaibhav Anand  says though he was looking for a good role to make a mark in the industry, he was fortunate to get The Verdict "I was auditioning for a role at Mehboob Studios when I dropped by on the shooting of the movie Kick to meet Salman Khan. Raja from Sajid Nadiadwala team saw me and liked my dedication and focus to this field &  suggested my name to Balaji and tech Web series Tarun, that's how I got this project"

When asked what made him say yes to the role, he explains "There was no reason to say no.  Shashank Shah had a vision. He had incorporated Dev Anand's iconic film 'Guide' and his take on women empowerment . The guide being ahead of Its time is also the story of Rosy who defies societal pressures and traditions to pursue her wishes, career, and happiness. Shashank wanted to show Dev Anand being instrumental in producing this idea through his film Guide. I want to recreate that in this story"

Anand, also plans to restore his family’s iconic preview theatre "Ketnav Theatre" to its former glory “I want to restore the modernist architecture of the ’70s. For most, Ketnav wasn’t a place of work, it was home.hey would say, ‘Ketnav mein milte hain, wahin baat karenge’,he says. That is why, apart from a preview theatre and an editing studio Anand also plans to open a coffee shop to also revive that tradition of banter and brainstorming"

मुंबई, 10 ऑक्टोबर 2019 – स्टार आणि डिस्ने इंडियाने आज आपल्या कार्यालयांतून एकदाच वापरल्या जाऊ शकणाऱ्या प्लॅस्टिकचा वापर कमी करणार असल्याची बांधिलकी घोषित केली. कंपनी आपल्या कार्बन उत्सर्जनाबद्दल आणि त्याच्या पर्यावरणावर होणाऱ्या परिणामांबद्दल प्रचंड जागरूक आहे.

या निर्णयाचा एक भाग म्हणून स्टार आणि डिस्ने इंडियाने आपल्या कार्यालयाच्या परिसरात एकदाच वापरता येण्याजोग्या प्लॅस्टिकला पर्याय तयार केले आहेत. प्लॅस्टिक कप्सची जागा कागदी कप्सनी, प्लॅसिट स्टरर्सची जागा लाकडी स्टरर्सनी, चहा व कॉफी सॅशेची जागा कागदी सॅशेने घेतली आहे, तर छत्र्यांसाठी विघटन होऊ शकणाऱ्या प्लॅस्टिकचे वेष्टन उपलब्ध करून देण्यात आले आहे. त्याशिवाय प्लॅस्टिकच्या बाटल्यांची जागा काचेच्या भांड्यांनी घेतली आहे.

2 ऑक्टोबर 2019 रोजी स्टार नेटवर्कचाच भाग असलेल्या नॅशनल जिओग्राफिक चॅनेलने प्लॅनेट की प्लॅस्टिक हा शपथ उपक्रम सुरू केला आहे, ज्यात एकदाच वापरल्य जाणाऱ्या प्लॅस्टिकच्या समस्येविषयी लोकांना जागरूक करून देशभरातील लोकांना शपथ घेण्यास प्रोत्साहन देण्यात आले आहे. या उपक्रमाला 47 हजार ट्विट्स आणि सोशल मीडियावर 881 दशलक्ष सोशल इंप्रेशन्ससह भरघोस प्रतिसाद मिळाला. या शपथेमुळे पहिल्या 24 तासांतच 25 दशलक्ष प्लॅस्टिकच्या वस्तू कमी करण्याची बांधिलकी तयार झाली. 2012 मध्ये स्टारने डिजिटल ब्रॉडकास्ट इकोसिस्टीमचा पायंडा पाडत आपला कंटेंट टेपवरून क्लाउडवर स्थलांतर करून कार्बन उत्सर्जन लक्षणीय प्रमाणात कमी केले होते.
